According to a new report from TMZ , Amanda Bynes is said to be doing much better and is no longer in her previously more manic state. The report goes on to say that Bynes has been acting “normal” and her family believes her sudden recovery is “mind blowing.”

Sources close to the situation say that Bynes is off all her medication, including Adderall. Bynes is apparently acting lucid and does not come off as someone who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolarity.

As a result of her improved condition, Bynes’ parents have reportedly given her some limited access to her finances and bank accounts. She has recently been reading, doing yoga, meditation, and pilates in her spare time to help reduce stress. In addition, she planned a visit to USC because she wants to enroll there as a psych major.

Doctors have told Bynes’ family that people with mental illnesses like Bynes can go through rebounds where they appear to be OK for months only for the condition to relapse again. Bynes family wants to give her enough freedom to enjoy it in those stable periods.
