Chris Brown pleaded guilty to assault in court this afternoon and gets time served.
The Judge has sentenced Chris to time served after the singer pleaded guilty to simple assault.
Chris had no words, but repeatedly told judge "Yes, sir," on details of the case.
All Chris said afterwards was, "I want to say to the court that I'm sorry."
Chris now leaves Washington DC free, but is still on probation in California for assault on Rihanna.
Earlier the singer entered court in DC this afternoon with very little security and no fans waiting outside to see the rapper.
A handful of reporters and photographers are outside the court but overall it’s a very quiet scene at DC Superior Court for Chris's hearing.
Chris’s on-again off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran was also present in the courtroom this afternoon.
Karrueche was there to support Chris along with his bodyguard and lawyers. The hearing begin at 9am (USA time) which was 2pm Irish time and last 30 minutes.
Missing from court today was Chris’s mother and family.
Chris was originally due in court on Friday, but the hearing was rescheduled for today because of travel matters.
This was Chris's third attempt at a plea deal to resolve the assault case that dates back to October 2013.
Chris rejected plea deals on a misdemeanor assault charge back in January and in June.
The charge is for a fight which occurred outside a Washington hotel, when Chris was on probation in California for that infamous attack back in 2009 on his then-girlfriend Rihanna.
