Advertisements, recaps, and commercials account for ~1/3 of Raw Empty
PostSubject: Advertisements, recaps, and commercials account for ~1/3 of Raw   Advertisements, recaps, and commercials account for ~1/3 of Raw EmptyTue Aug 26, 2014 4:20 pm

Stolen from Reddit

First of all I am not doing this to put the Raw product in a negative light in any way. It is just some fun statistics of the Raw content last night.

On-Air Product Advertisement:

Mountain Dew "presents Night of Champions" - 07s

Just for men & Victory Motorcycles "presents Raw" - 12s

Future Shows and programming:

2 x Night of Champions, Lesnar vs Cena - (23s and 29s) 52s

Main Event, Rollins vs RVD - 16s

Smackdown, Show/henry vs Wyatts - 21s

Raw next week, Highlight Reel - 18s

WWE Network:

2 x Michael Cole & Co. announces new content to the WWE Network - (1m03s and 1m19s) 2m 27s

WWE Network commercial - 17s

"Tonight on Raw" Advertisement:

They advertised for later content 14 times total on Raw which took a combined 4 minutes and 20 seconds. Im not gonna bother typing it all down.

I will however tell you that:

John Cena vs Bray Wyatt was announced 7 times which in total was 1 minute 48 seconds - Which was more time than the Ziggler - Mizdow match!

Recaps and Full-Screen Replays:

Last nights Raw had 9 recaps from Summerslam and last week's Raw. Raw also featured 5 full-screen replays of content that literally just happened a few seconds before! In total the Raw recaps and full-screen replays took 8 minutes and 35 seconds.

Other Fun Facts:

The price of the WWE Network was mentioned 7 times

The Mountain Dew Logo was showed 11 times (at least)

Visual advertisements during matches included Total Divas on E!, 2x the WWE Card Game and 4x WWE Network content

...and god knows how often they mentioned something from twitter.

TL.DR: In Total (and combined with all the commercials ofc.), Raw spend circa 1 hour, 1 minute and 40 seconds on Commercials, Advertisements and Recaps, which was almost 15 minutes more than the time spend on actual matches
