According to PWInsider, the ‘$9.99′ plugs for the WWE Network are going to continue on WWE television for the foreseeable future. WWE feels like they created enough of a discussion where they could make $9.99 a buzzword.
BP: If buzzword means they wanted to piss fans off, then yes, it worked. Repeatedly saying a monetary value over and over again isn’t really buzz, at least not how they want it.
New WWE Title Design Leaked Online?
The following photo has been making its way around the internet this morning, with several posters noting it has been posted on Twitter and Reddit. It depicts a photo shoot with WWE COO Triple H holding what looks to be the new design for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, featuring the new ‘Network’ era logo. You can see Stephanie McMahon standing next to him at the shoot, but it is unknown what it is for at this time.
The new logo is expected to replace the ‘scratch’ logo on all WWE championships, merchandise and graphics the night after WWE Summerslam. The new title is very close to the existing design, but the WWE logo is larger, and the “champion” nameplate at the bottom is removed. We will continue to update and have more on the new title as it is released.
