After having already been seen earlier in the night, the camera catches up with Alexis Rose strolling through the hallways. The new diva has calmed down quite a bit from her earlier episode and is in a chipper mood, smile upon her face as she strolls along the corridors. As she rounds a corner a voice rings out with her name asking her to stop. Finally the female the voice accompanies appears and it is the one interviewer most tend to despise due to her attitude, Christina Clair. The brunette beauty saunters up to The Black Phoenix with microphone in hand easily looking for some interview time. Having turned around and seen what was before her, Alexis proceeds to partake just like most of the male roster and looks over Ms. Clair from head to toe and back again with much appreciation.
C. Clair: “So at least all the rumors online about you are true and it isn’t just faking like most women seem to.”
A moment of shock seems to come across Alexis as she realizes the other female thought she was feigning her intentions for so long.
A. Rose: “Wait, you’re telling me that you thought I was faking all this? You thought me being a lesbian was an act? No, no sweetie, it is all me and all one hundred percent true. I don’t know who you have run across in the past that faked about either being bi or les, but this is all me all the time. As they say, practice what you preach.”
Looking back at the other woman, Christina takes the advice in for a moment and actually gets caught in what appears to be looking Alexis over in return and truly admiring the new look for the woman who for so long had such gothic roots and lack of color in her clothes.
C. Clair: “Well ain’t that the truth there. However, my question for you Alexis is what actually brings you here outside of your brother, as I know someone like you can’t stay out of the ring forever if a chance comes up and the right challenge alongside it.”
A. Rose: “What brings me here to the XWA outside of my brother? The simple fact that I get my face out there again with all the changes I have made in my life is the best reason of them all. I mean, look at me, I finally figured out what the problem was that made me get divorced in the first place, I found out what the problem was with all the women I confronted, and I also managed to increase my self esteem by having a whole better look after losing weight to train for my return.”
C. Clair: “Comparing current day you with how you were back in 2WWF, it is leaps and bounds better for you and everyone else I would imagine then?”
Being able to bend the interview to her will seems to plaster a smile on the corners of Alexis’ mouth, the edges being slightly curved upwards.
A. Rose: “That would be an understatement. I mean, I have had more of my exes try to get back with me than ever before with how I am now. Of course they forget that they had it once and lost it, so I am always on the lookout. However, there is one thing that shall never be a once and done affair which you touched on slightly before which is wrestling. I do admit I am here to wrestle again eventually but right now I am more focused on training to get back into the ring and being at the top of my game.”
C. Clair: “So you mean to tell us you aren’t prepared yet to get back inside the squared circle yourself just yet?”
A. Rose: “Sadly no my dear, the time away has worsened my reaction times to the hits I do sadly suffer and until that is back up to par I can’t risk tarnishing this work of excellence to such harsh conditions.” With those comments Alexis proceeds to take her hands and motion to her body from head to toe, proceeding to emphasize her chest area which even draws the eyes of Ms. Clair slightly not to be lost on Alexis at all. “Now I know you do some research into everyone that fights here my dear, but I have actually done some of myself and found an amateur background in martial arts mostly for self defense am I correct?”
C. Clair: “I must say I am impressed, very few know of that fact. You are right that it is only for self defense and has worked wonders for me. I don’t like actually using it under most occasions as I don’t practice much anymore aside of the stranger wishing to actually try attacking me.”
A. Rose: “Such a sad state of affairs that is. However, I would actually like to ask YOU a question if I may Chris, if I may call you that.” Clair’s eyes widen a bit as she can’t believe this turn of events and how she has let her usual demeanor drop around this woman, nodding at the advance by the Australian native. “You say you never get to practice much, well I need someone to practice with and was wondering if you would be willing to do so? Your background in martial arts would be perfect for me to get used to taking all the bumps again and getting back into top shape which is my biggest concern.”
The simple forwardness of the request is usually something that Christina would turn down right away from any of the guys in the locker room. This time is different however as a denial does not stream forth right away, the shock of the flirtation and some awe all mixed up into one with the brunette silenced.
C. Clair: “Uh, if you want after we are done the show hand me your number and we can swap texts to see when each is free to possibly do so?”
A. Rose: “That’s fine with me. My schedule is usually flexible so I am more than willing to meet whenever suits you best. Well I know you are a busy woman and I actually have a session with my yoga instructor that I have to be at soon, so I hope to hear from you soon sweetie.”
As Alexis starts to walk away, the camera view splits into two where each lady is on one side. On Christina’s side, the interviewer is caught watching Alexis walk away with fascination, before lightly smacking herself across the face to wake herself up like this was all a hallucination. On the other half, Alexis is seen smiling and laughing to herself slightly, seemingly no signs of the breakout from earlier this evening apparent. The camera cuts away to the announce booth where they proceed to plug the sponsors of this episode of Vendetta including Skittles, a vodka ad warning people to drink responsibly, and finally for Viagra before we go to a commercial break.
