"Fuck you! Fuck you Lawson...Pirate...whoever the fuck you are! I fucking hate you! I will never forgive you, and I hope you die a slow, horrible death in Davey Jones' FUCKING Locker! Fucking faggot."

"Well I think we know who Joey will be unfairly commentating against tonight."

"YOU'RE DAMN FUCKING RIGHT!!"

He mad, bro.

As have most of Pirate's opponents so far, Mack is...intrigued, to say the least, by his adversary tonight. Pirate's four crew-members gather on one side of the ring, a very intimidating sight for the rather small Mack. The Pirate bounces back and forth on either feet in a battle stance, and Mack shakes his head before engaging him.

DING DING DING!!!

They lock up, and after a brief shoving match, Pirate backs Mack into the corner. After pushing him back against the turnbuckles, the referee steps in to separate Bloom from his opponent. He breaks cleanly and backs off, holding his hands up in the air for a little bit, but quickly lunges back towards Mack, delivering a Knife-Edge chop as the fans "WOO" in unison. As Mack rubs his chest, the captain grabs his other arm, trying to Irish Whip him across the ring. However, the Southern Aviator counters, whirling around and sending Pirate into the corner instead. Pirate's back smacks against the turnbuckles as Mack starts screaming across the ring, quickly taking his opponent down with a Running Dropkick. He pops up, while Bloom, a bit dazed, starts to push himself back to his feet, and quickly scales the ropes. When Pirate reaches his feet, Mack leaps off towards him, turning in midair, only to see Bloom rush forward, avoiding it. Pirate turns around in the corner as Mack lands on all fours, and when his opponent stumbles to his feet, the swashbuckler charges forward, nailing him with a Running Elbow Smash. Pirate's crew applauds him as he runs into the ropes, giving a big toothy grin to the camera. He turns around, sizing up his opponent as Mack slowly starts to get back up, holding his head.

As his opponent reaches his feet, Pirate steps over and lands a hard kick to the midsection, doubling Mack over. Bloom quickly hooks him up in a Front Facelock, and while Mack struggles a bit, the much bigger competitor has little trouble getting him up for a Snap Suplex. He drives Mack into the mat and immediately floats over to make the first pin attempt of the match.....one.but a quick kickout asserts that Mack isn't going down easily. Bloom pushes up to his knees as Mack quickly sits up, trying to regain his composure. He can't lose to a pirate. However, before he can do anything, the captain hooks his arm around the neck of the Southern Aviator, applying a Sleeper in that seated position. Growling, Pirate wrenches it in tight as Mack reaches out for the ropes, wide-eyed. Knowing that this position is going to make it hard to move forward, Mack tries the next best option, rolling out of it. He sticks his arm back and pushes, trying to twist himself around as Pirate tries to hold on as tightly as he can. However, after a few attempts, Mack gets himself turned to a point where the hold is no longer doing anything, and Bloom is forced to release.

"Smart, veteran thinking there by Mack."

"Yeah it fucking was! Now kick his faggoty ass!"

Somewhat feeling the effects of the air-restrictive Sleeper, Mack takes his time standing up as Pirate does the same, much more quickly. Seeing his opponent not back up yet, Bloom takes some time to crack his neck. This allows Mack to reach his feet, and quickly charge toward his opponent. However, Pirate is ready, and ducks down, picking up his opponent and throwing him up with a high Back Body Drop. Mack's back smacks off the mat as the captain turns back around to face him. Mack grimaces upon impact, but starts to scramble back to his feet almost immediately. He really wants to start getting some offense in, and the best place to do that is standing up. However, Pirate is ready for him once again, performing a greatly exaggerated Arm Drag, and swinging his opponent right back down. As Mack lands flat on his back once again, Pirate raises both arms straight up in the air, letting out a loud "ARR!" to get the crowd going, while his crew claps and cheers from outside. After this, he turns back to Mack and quickly drops to his knees, hooking the leg for another cover.....one.....tw-another kickout, and Mack quickly rolls under the bottom rope and out to the floor to regroup.

With a hand on his lower back, Mack catches his breath and rethinks his strategy as Pirate slowly stands back up. The referee starts a ten-count, and Mack stands up, telling him that he's gonna come back. Scurvy Steve peeks his head around the corner at Mack, however, causing the referee to run over and shoo him away immediately. Pirate walks over to the ropes as Mack uses them to pull himself up. Once he's back on the apron, though, the nimble veteran ducks under the top rope, and as Pirate reached out to grab him, he thrusts his shoulder forward and into Bloom's stomach. Pirate recoils and grabs his midsection, backing away to the center of the ring. This gives Mack an opportunity. He pulls back on the ropes and springs over, looking to catch Pirate with a springboard move. Pirate sees this coming, though, and immediately, without warning, sprints off to the side, turning into the ropes to come back. Mack planned ahead for this, and instead of going for an attack, simply springs over the ropes, drops to his feet and waits for his opponent to return. Lawson comes off the ropes closest to the entrance...right into a Superkick from Mack. The fans let out an "ooooh" as Mack's foot smacks of Pirate's chin, and the captain, knocked nearly senseless, stands motionless for half a second before losing his balance, falling back against the ropes in a seated position.

"And Mack seems to be pulling a page from David Michaels's book with that one."

"Yeah, seems like it's one of the only ways to keep fucking faggot Lawson down. I'm all for it! Go Mack!"

Mack catches himself on the ropes and catches his breath as Pirate might as well have little birdies flying around his head. You can see the Southern Aviator mouth "Finally" as the camera catches up to him, relieved that he's gotten Pirate's initial assault done and dusted. After getting his bearings, he walks over to Bloom, reaching down to grab both of his leather boots. Mack pulls his opponent onto his back and down away from the ropes a little bit, before hooking both ankles and turning around, flipping Pirate over into a Boston Crab. The pressure to his lower back snaps the captain back to his senses, as he grimaces in pain and begins to reach out for the ropes. Mack didn't really move the larger man far enough away, because it takes very little effort for Pirate to grab the bottom rope and force a break. Mack releases the hold without too much resistance, but does keep it on long enough for the referee to reach a count of one. As Pirate starts to pull himself up, holding his back a bit, Mack comes up behind him and wraps Bartholomew up around the waist. After pulling his opponent up, Mack plants his feet and jerks back, hitting Pirate with a German Suplex. Pirate hits hard in the center of the ring, and his legs stick straight up in the air for a moment before calling back down.

Mack rolls off to the side and toward the ropes, where he uses them to pull himself up while Pirate lays in the middle of the ring, arching his back after taking the bump on it. Mack reaches his feet at a fairly medium pace, then repositions himself, back facing his opponent. He pulls back on the top rope and quickly leaps up to it before immediately springing back, flipping onto Pirate with a Springboard Moonsault. Bloom folds up like a lawn chair as Mack's momentum brings him up to his knees, then they both fall back down flat, Mack hooking the leg for a pin attempt.....one.....tw-kickout by Pirate. The crowd had popped for the big move, but they pop even bigger for Pirate kicking out. Mack rolls off and holds his ribs while Pirate does the same, and they both start to push themselves up to their feet as Pirate's crew cheers him on from ringside. Bloom may be a little more worse for wear at this point in time, but Mack has taken some punishment in the match as well, and that translates to both men reaching their feet at roughly the same time. As Pirate catches his breath, Mack takes a few steps forward and reaches out to grab him, only for Pirate to lunge forward and slap him, hard, across the face. Mack's head snaps to the side as he is stunned by this, and it warrants another "ooooh" from the crowd as well, accounting for the loud impact echoing throughout the arena.

"Well that was certainly loud."

"He didn't just do that...He didn't fucking just do that! One does not SIMPLY SLAP...a former world champion, God dammit!"

"Y'know I think he just did..."

"SHUT UP!"

Mack glares back at his opponent, who is sheepishly grinning right back at him. Annoyed at that, and with a stinging cheek, Mack just hauls off and clocks him, rearing back and connecting with a right hand to the jaw. Pirate's head snaps back and he falls into the ropes, then stumbles forward, right into another Dropkick from his opponent. This one sends him sprawling back, through the ropes, and out to the floor where he lands in a heap. Mack raises his arms into the air, prompting a bit of a cheer from his fans, but most of the attention is on Pirate as his crew makes their way over to check on him. Lookout and Scurvy Steve reach down and start to pull him to his feet while Jumbo looks on, but Mack isn't having any of that. He steps to the edge of the ring and grabs the top rope, looking to jump back out at all of them. However, Megalodon sees this, and takes a big step, right between Pirate and the ring, to block Mack's path just as he pulls back, forcing a screeching halt as the other two manage to get Bloom back to his feet. With the referee yelling in full throat at the swashbucklers, they help their captain back over to the ring, and ease him up to the apron so he can roll himself back in. Mack locks eyes with Megalodon, and they scowl at each other for a moment before Mack turns his attention back to Pirate.

Bloom climbs back to his feet as Mack slowly steps toward him, but the captain uses the opportunity to take advantage. With his opponent unaware, Pirate quickly reaches up, grabbing Mack around the head and forcing him straight to the mat with an STO. While Mack, shocked a bit by the move out of nowhere, quickly rolls across the ring away from his opponent, Pirate, as fast as he can, staggers back to his feet. He's a little shaken after that punch and nasty tumble, but he's still in a position to take the advantage back if he gets another opening. That's exactly what he gets, as Mack, overzealous to put him back down, rushes to a vertical base before running forward at his opponent. Not the best move when they can see you coming, as Pirate has no trouble ducking under the oncoming clothesline, picking the Southern Aviator up around the waist, and falling straight back into a Flapjack, smacking Mack's face off the canvas. The smaller man's hands rush to his face to cover up his nose, which took the brunt of that impact. Meanwhile, Pirate rolls away toward the corner, having to use the ropes to pull himself back up this time. The former world champion checks his face for blood as the man (we can only assume) that has had at least two world title opportunities snatched out of his hands by outside forces reaches his feet and watches him from the corner.

"Both men starting to look fatigued now, this match it getting a bit more tense."

"Whad'ya mean? This shit's been intense for me the whole time! If Mack loses, I riot!"

Pirate slowly walks over behind his opponent, as it seems that Mack is starting to get up. Still holding his nose with two fingers, the Aviator uses his other hand to push up to his hands and knees, at which point Pirate makes his move, reaching down to grab Mack under the arms and pull him to his feet. The captain applies a Full Nelson, then plants his feet, pops his hips and throws his opponent back, connecting beautifully with his High-Seas Suplex. Keeping the arms hooked, Pirate arches his back, bridging the move for a pin.....one.....two...but Mack manages to kick out in time. Mack rolls onto his side to recuperate as Bloom releases him, leaving Pirate to slowly start to stand up once again. The captain knows he's got his opponent right where he wants him; he just needs to keep piling on the offence and it'll keep him down eventually. On the other hand, racing through Mack's mind is a desperate need to get back in this one, to find one slip up by his aggressor. Embarrassing as it is, Pirate's getting the better of him, and he needs to do something to change that. As Pirate reaches his feet, Mack starts to will his way into a sitting position, trying to get back up as quick as possible. Meanwhile, Pirate heads to the ropes and slowly exits to the apron, his sights set on climbing the turnbuckles.

As the captain climbs, Mack continues to struggle to his feet. After a slow sequence of standing up and balancing for both of them, they end up reaching their destinations at exactly the same time. As his opponent is way too far away to jump for at the moment, Pirate decides to play up to the crowd for a bit, allowing Mack to get into a better position. He pulls out his trusty imaginary sword, brandishing it straight up into the air as the crowd roars in support. Pirate looks around at his fans, losing sight of his opponent for just a bit. Mack hears the cheers and turns his head to see Pirate idling on the top rope. Just the opening he needed. Burrowing into his inner reserves of energy, the Aviator turns and suddenly breaks into a dead sprint, trying to get to his opponent as soon as he can. Pirate turns his attention back to him, but it's too late, as Mack steps up onto the bottom rope and gives the captain a hard shove, knocking his balance haywire. Pirate flails his arms around wildly, but it's no use, as he turns and falls back away from the ring. Some in the crowd scream as he lands....right in the arms of Megalodon, who just happened to be standing right there. Upon seeing the save made, Mack's eyes widen. That could have been it right there. He breathes in deeply, very much angered by a potential match-winning tactic being taken away from him.

"OH MY FUCKING GOD! DO YOU SEE THIS? THIS IS BULLSHIT! FUCKING BULLSHIT! THEY'RE CHEATING SO BADLY RIGHT NOW! JUST FUCKING DISQUALIFY THEM!"

"I...don't think he really did anything, Joey. Pirate just landed on him."

With his captain slumped over his shoulder, Megalodon slowly moves, carrying him back over to the ring as Mack seethes at him from the ropes. As the Aviator backs down and to the center of the ring, the big guy gently places Pirate down on the apron, allowing him to roll back into the ring. Still shaken by his short flight, Bloom wearily starts back to his feet, but has little time to re-establish himself in the match, as Mack immediately grabs him by the arm and powers him down, trapping it with the legs and pulling back on the head to lock in a Crossface. Pirate shouts out in pain as Mack wrenches on his neck. He's in the middle of the ring, nowhere near any ropes. There's nowhere to crawl to, and his only hope is to reverse it. His size advantage was never more important in this bout than here. Mack wrenches the move in tight as Pirate tries to roll his right shoulder under him. The captain grunts and growls, his opponent snarling with intensity, as they duel in a battle of wills. Eventually, with the help of his left foot for leverage, Bloom finally manages to get himself rolled onto his side, and Mack's own weight takes him the whole way over, getting Pirate out of the submission predicament. Now, with the weight of Pirate on top of him, Mack's shoulders are now pinned to the mat, and the referee has to slide in to make a count.....one.....two.....Mack releases the hold and wriggles free to get his shoulder up at the last second, and Pirate's crew are visibly upset that he didn't get it there, having to confirm to themselves that it was indeed only two.

A bit dejected, Mack puts his forehead in his hands, shaking his head to the thought of almost giving that one up on a fluke. He figures he was fairly close to putting the strange sailor away there too, and that thought is what pushes him to get up once again and start eyeing up his opponent. As the Aviator pulls himself up, Pirate lays in the center of the ring, gritting his teeth as he rubs the back of his neck after that debilitating Crossface. Mack backs into the ropes, giving himself a bit of a breather as his opponent gets a chance to try to stand up. Bloom rolls onto his stomach and gingerly pushes himself to his knees, and after a slight stumble, his feet. However, Mack clearly has the advantage here, as at the moment Pirate reaches a vertical base, the former champ lays into his opponent with a hard right foot to the gut. Pirate nearly falls forward on his own, but Mack very much helps him on his way by planting the captain with a DDT. As Bloom slumps down onto his stomach, Mack quickly starts rolling, stopping himself in the corner to reach up and grab the ropes and begin to pull himself back up again.

"Come on Mack! Finish him! Fucking KILL HIM!"

"I do say, he may be one big move away from sealing the deal right here..."

Pirate slowly rolls onto his back, still holding his neck, as Mack reaches his feet. After bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet a couple times to make sure he's still got the spring in his step needed for some of his moves, the Aviator begins to climb up the turnbuckles. Meanwhile, Bloom sticks an arm in the air, perhaps abstractly, maybe reaching for one of the stars he's seeing in the rafters. Mack reaches the top rope, and sees a problem staring back at him. Four of them to be exact. Worried about the possibility of being interfered with on the top rope, he immediately points at Megalodon, shaking his head angrily. The monster throws his hands up in innocence, but Mack is adamant. He points up the ramp, beginning to tell them to get back, over and over. Steve is the first to do so, followed by Jumbo, holding their arms up. A few seconds later, Lookout simply walks in the other direction, headed toward the announce table. Megalodon simply stays put, leaning back against the barricade and folding his arms. He shakes his head at the scowling Southern Aviator, assuring him non-verbally that he's not going to come after him. Eventually, Mack settles for that, looking back to make sure Pirate is still in position. After crouching down deep, the highflier leaps pack, twisting in a nearly unnatural-looking way, ending up facing forward to execute a flawless Phoenix Splash....

...But Pirate moves! The captain rolls back into the corner at the last second, causing Mack to land flat on his face in the middle of the ring. The impact bounces him up onto his knees, where he groans and wraps his arms around his ribs in pain. Paranoia about being interfered with has caused him to take too long, costing him that move, and perhaps even the match. That's what a devious pirate crew can and will do to you if you're not careful. After slowly pulling himself to his feet, the captain hobbles over to his opponent, who is still dazed and confused, clutching his ribs, but up to one knee. Pirate manages to pull him up and turn him around, then to Joey Miles's horror, as smoothly as he's ever done it, hooks himself under Mack's arm, lifts up, and circles around him to plant his opponent's face into the ground with the Tidal Wave. Tired, and in pain, Bloom grunts as he shoots the half, rolling Mack over to make the cover.

.....one!

"No!"

.....two!!

"NOO!!"

.....three!!!
