When I get time to get to it I'm going to read Ace's match. See what all this hype is about.

Had a bit of fun thinking about some of my old work and found that some of my stuff was in my PMs, in particular the Monsters Ball promo that Snoopz and I did for Xtrememania. Really wish I could have followed through with this match afterwards. Would have made for a good conclusion to a solid story rather than what it ended up being.
Spoiler:
24:00
The atmosphere is intense as XWA security guides T.K. through the halls of the Reliant Astrodome, just 24 hours away from the biggest event of the year, Xtrememania 4. The Triple Crown Champion doesn't say a word as he simply strolls through as if the fact he's going to be locked up like an animal was a natural feeling. Not many could be so cool about such a situation. Then again, it may simply be the satisfaction of knowing a very confused Danny Diamond is being locked up in a room by himself with Mirage for 24 hours. He's not exactly an expert, but after what T.K. said and caused on Vendetta, the Prized Gem is likely having quite a few thoughts to let out on being pushed aside for Mirage. As they come to the room T.K.'s going to be in he takes a moment to enjoy the final moments of light he's going to enjoy until it's time to be unleashed. The Evolution of Man smirks as rather than waiting for the guards to open the door for him, he strides forward and enters on his own, simply leaving the men to lock the door behind him as he took the liberty of being locked away himself. Is it simply confidence in himself? Or just to avoid showing any sign of weakness to any one after showing a 'change of heart' upon his return? Either way, it hardly matters now as his thoughts and actions inside this small dark room are being monitored as he sits down on a bench provided for him.
Now that every natural need has been stripped away from him, the Crimson Giant allows him true demeanor to show as he lets out a sigh. “To think I could be going to the pre-show party tonight if I had kept my big mouth shut... Then again, I can't exactly let a former friend get manipulated yet again now can I.” This last sentence makes the Evolution of Man laugh. How many times has he lost and cursed Danny's name to have decided to take an interest in Mirage's most recent possession of the current Ultraviolent Champion? Or is he simply doing it because he wants to prove that his win last year within the Sixty Minutes in Hell wasn't completely handed to him by Rellim? It's quite clear however that he's not going to go insane within this environment quite yet, rather simply allowing the seconds to tick away. 23 hours and 58 minutes remain until he enters the ring once more.
In a separate room, Mirage and Danny have just been placed. The two brush up against a wall and just stand, leaned against it, as they wait for the next twenty-four hours to fly passed them. What could be going through the mind of both of these men right now, as they share the same body inside the same cell for an entire day before facing off against the deadly man known as T.K.? This is going to be a very long day indeed, for the two, as well as for their adversary locked away in another room. The body that inhabits both men turns so that it's back is now leaned against the wall, as opposed to its shoulder, and then it slides down into a seated position on the floor. A sigh is released from the mouth of the UltraViolent Champions and finally, the silence is broken. "He's wrong, you know?" Mirage asks his counterpart, "When he says that I bring you down, that I hinder you. He's wrong. Together, we make the greatest of teams." Danny ponders the statement made by the malevolent force known as Mirage before opening his mouth to respond, only for Mirage's voice to leak out of it once more. "When I faced him in the Sixty Minutes in Hell Match, yes, he won. However, you see that X on his back? That scar. That was my doing. I've scarred him for life. Nobody else can make that claim, just I. Wins and losses don't mean a thing when compared to something of that magnitude. In some form, I've changed his life on a permanent basis. That's something to be proud of, not winning a match because some rogue referee thought a fairy tale creature in the sky told him to cheat someone out of the win." Danny thinks back to Mirage and T.K.'s previous fight inside the Sixty Minutes in Hell Cage. Rellim was the special guest referee and he did cheat Mirage out of the win, just as Mirage said. And, also as Mirage said, he did leave T.K. with a permanent scar in the shape of an X stretching across his back. Maybe T.K. is wrong. Maybe Mirage isn't a parasite, a disease, a virus. Maybe Mirage is truly good for "The Prized Gem". Nevertheless, Danny chooses to keep his voice silent and let the time pass without a word from him.
15:44
It's been several hours since T.K. was locked inside the small room, left to his own thoughts. When he first came in, the Evolution of Man had no plans on allowing his mind to mess with him, but it would seem he'll have no choice on the matter however as his own thoughts betray him. The mind is a strange thing you know, particularly when it comes to scars. Not the type you get on your skin from tripping and scraping on the sidewalk a little too bad to heal fully. No, the mental scars that never quite leave you alone. The scars of seeing a person die in front of you, or losing something dear to you. Thoughts like these are better left well enough alone, but of course, when you're locked away in a place where you can do nothing but think of all your mistakes, all your worries, and worst of all, every fear. And what scar other than the giant X on his back could possibly bother T.K. more at this very moment? It was just more than a year ago when Mirage carved it into his skin. Made him beg for it too stop, left the Crimson Giant on the verge of tears simply for the sake of glory, for the sake of chaos, for the sake of victory.
"God damn it... get out of my head."
The big man mumbles, trying to shake the memory away, as that's hardly the thought he needs heading into such a big match.
"Now how could we have that? Why not just admit you're scared? That you know you can't win?"
T.K.'s head shoots up as he looks around, there's no way this man could be here, not in this place. No, he couldn't be in his head either, that was Danny's curse, not his.
"Don't look so surprised now Zachary, I've been in your head ever since I carved that X in your back. Residing in your fears, you hatred for the weakness you were showing."
"Don't lecture me Mirage, I know this is just a figment of my imagination, a representation of my fear. It won't break me though, I didn't quit when you did that, I refused to, otherwise that scar wouldn't have been finished."
"Oh on the contrary, I think we both know that even if you had tapped I'd have finished it, perhaps I'd have gone farther with it, done more. Maybe that's exactly what I'll have to do to you this time."
T.K. remains silent, trying to not let his own mind break him with a simple illusion, this can't be Mirage. But how could he truely know? T.K.'s not unintelligent like many likely believe, but he's no expert on pyschological behaviors, let alone Mirage's case and how he effects those who he comes into the minds of.
"Get out of my head, you've no place here. Real or fake, my mind won't be yours for the taking."
"Now now Zach, stop being so stubborn, you should know better. I don't want your mind, and I never did. You're too weak, there's a reason I've always come back to Daniel after all. He's better than you and you know it. On multiple occaisons he's proved it, and tomorrow I'm going to give him yet another victory over you. How does it feel Zachary? To know you've put yourself in my domain? Mental games are my battleground, you can't win. You may think you've tricked Daniel, but by the time you see him in the ring he'll have given me his full support as he always will. And in the end, I'll just have to make to scar you again, to remind you of your place here."
T.K. simply stops speaking, Mirage can't bother him if he doesn't give the mental disease what he wants, frustration, anger, or even his fear. Of course, why should the vocal bits of Mirage speech be what he fears? This fragment, or voice you could say of Mirage from the dreaded memory so long ago, is already in his head, why should he be so easily shaken off simply by silence? Nor will it, as it would appear the mental factors of being locked away, hungry, tired, and thristy are weaking his natural sanity. Something that can spell nothing but harm and problems as he deals with this Mirage. Just as it seems that the silence might actually work, the feeling of warm breath comes across the back of T.K.'s neck, or so he thinks.
"You know, your sanity is a strange thing Zachary, being in your head, I know of every little horror you've experienced, every wrong you've committed, and the fun part being your fears. One I particularly like is your fear of losing family, caused by you sending your dear brother to an asylum, or better yet, from losing your mother to the cold hands of death. Ah, how interesting!"
"Leave it Mirage, your not going to break me...."
Or so he thought as he was saying this before a particular memory is triggered, its of neither of the two deep memories Mirage brought up already, but rather something else. Almost like a movie, the memory moves forward as a young boy is walking to school. T.K. growls as he's being forced to live through this.
"Quit it Mirage..."
"Why would I do that? Don't you want to remember what led tobyou being the 'Evolution' of this pathetic waste called man? Or are you already a broken man?"
As Mirage says this the memory truly starts as the boy is turned around and hit square in the eye by a much older child. "What's the matter Zach? You thought you were going to get away with snitching on me? Did you?" Of course, the memory has simply revealed that the young kid is noneother than T.K. "You're nothing but a snitch, and I bet you want to run away don't you?" The young Evolution of Man simply nods as he tries to push away. Only, he's not able to, rather instead he's grabbed from behind as the friends of the assailant seem to be helping out. From here the leader of the 'gang' it could be called begins to unleash blow after blow against the small child, no remorse being shown in any way.
T.K. struggles to hold his composure as he goes through this mental agony, simply hearing the laughs of Mirage as he relives the memories of his childhood one by one. With sixteen hours to go, will he even be mentally able to will himself to fight?
Inside the UltraViolent Champions' room, it's been over eight hours since any words were spoken. Both Mirage and Danny have been quiet ever since Mirage's little words to his partner when they first entered the room together. One has to wonder just what's been running through their minds. Are they hungry? Thirsty? Tired? Are they wondering how T.K. is feeling at this particular moment? Is the stress of being locked away getting to them or even just to Danny? Surely it isn't effecting Mirage. He's a master of these kinds of situations, having been locked away in Danny's subconscious for so long. He sees no fear. He feels no pain. He lives no agony. Finally, the silence of over eight hours is broken.
"I'm hungry."
"Don't complain, Daniel. You knew what you were getting into with this match."
"What I was getting into? You're the one who asked for this match. You're the one who's going to be facing T.K. I didn't ask to be put in this bloody prison for twenty-four hours."
"Calm yourself down. There's no use getting frustrated. It won't help the situation. It's best to preserve your anger so that I may use it later when I face T.K. If you break in here, he wins. He wants to prove that you can't handle me, but I know that to be false. You can, Daniel. You are worthy of me. You deserve me. You need me."
Danny doesn't respond. Whether it's because he has nothing to say or simply doesn't feel like talking anymore at this point is unknown. That doesn't stop Mirage from speaking.
"I get my chaos, you get the glory. That was the deal, wasn't it? If you're to get your glory, you need to be in this with me. You must endure everything I endure. You don't like being trapped, I get it. Nobody understands this any more than I do. I've been trapped in minds for as long as I can remember. I always dreamed of breaking free from the mental prisons I've been held hostage in and it finally happened, with you Daniel. You saved me from those mental prisons just as I'm saving you from yourself. Everything that's wrong with you, I make up for. Your arrogance. Your naivety. Your brash style. I take those traits away and replace them with my intelligence. My unique mindset. Just as I needed you to break me free from my hell, you needed me to break you free from yours and that's exactly what I plan to do, starting tonight. When I face T.K., this will be a testament of what's to come. Victory. You will be the biggest star this company has ever known and it's because of us. Not you, not me. Us. Together. We're going to take this company by storm and turn it upside down on its head. Do you understand me, Daniel? Do you get it? Do you know why you need me, just as I need you?"
Once more, Danny is left to ponder what Mirage says. Unlike last time, however, he doesn't wait eight hours before saying something.
"You're right, Mirage. I'm just frustrated being locked up in here and I can't think straight. Thank you. We can do this. Together, me and you can rule this damned place. I mean, we already beat the World Heavyweight Champion. We're going to be a legendary duo. Like Holmes and Watson. Arthur and Merlin. Frodo and Samwise."
"I wouldn't compare ourselves to film duos, but whatever, you're getting it. We're the best team out there and we'll let everyone know it by tearing apart each and every opposition we get. Tonight is about far more than the UltraViolent Championship, as prestigious as we've managed to make that already. It's about all-out fucking war on this company. This company that has treated you like shit since day one. This company that took the XWA World Heavyweight Championship from you because they thought you couldn't handle it. This company that hates you, that hates us. It's ours now. All of it."
A grin comes across the face of both men, assuming it's Danny's after what Mirage just said.
"Brilliant...Brilliant..."
7:36
More than sixteen hours of captivity have now passed, and from the looks of it, T.K.'s mental state isn't looking so good as he's on the ground. Sweating, crying, and overall just wanting his current misery to be brought to an end.
"Come now Zachary, surely this isn't as much as you can take? I thought you said that I couldn't break you. I truely hope you weren't lying when you told me that. Because I'm not done quite yet..."
"You bastard..."
"You say that, but you're the one who had the fucked up past, in fact, why don't we visit your dear brother? I'm sure you'll love to see those memories again!"
"Don't..."
It's too late though as the memory of two young kids playing in the streets comes to view. One being the young T.K. once again, a short spikey blonde hair is seen. For whatever reason, the young Black Dragon's face is shadowed, almost as if T.K.'s memory of him was gone, forgotten, erased. Simply a shadow of the family bond the two once shared as children.
"Oh how cruel, you don't even remember your own brothers face! And they say I'm sadistic."
"Shut up."
Those are all the words the Evolution of Man seems to have the heart to mutter as the two kids begin to start talking with one another, trivial teasing and joking of all things of course, that is till things take an interesting turn.
"Zach, did you know I heard our parents talking, they think I'm the smarter of the two," exclaims the young Dragon, still showing the innocence of youth rather than the madness of his later self.
"Doubt it! You can't even multiply stupid," replies the young T.K. showing his usual arrogance, something that seems to have been around even at a young age while he was bullied. "Besides, you're only just starting school, they called me a genius when I started."
"Liar, they always bring up how you need to be more careful and stop getting sent to the nurses office! Besides, I can do something you can't!"
"Oh yeah?" T.K. asks questioningly, hiding his true frustration with what his little brother had been saying so far.
"I can do this," suddenly the shadows around them start to move. Of course, it's simply the sun coming close to dawn, but seeing as they're both young children, they freak out. Whatever it was that the young King of Darkness was really going to do, it's been overshadowed, literally. Not sure what else to do as their parents come out to tell them to come in, T.K. shoves his little brother to the ground!
"Freak! What was that?" Of course, the parents quickly rush over there as the younger Evolution of Man shows false tears as if Dragon had actually done something to him.
"What's going on here?!" Their father cries out, none too pleased by the sight as he helps Dragon up, and checks out the scrapes he got as a result.
"You should have seen it dad, I made the shadows move!"
This of course prompts a strange look from their parents as they try and figure out how to react to it. The young T.K., still jealous about his little brothers attention in school takes this as an oppertunity to steal back his own shine and glory.
"He was threatening to kill me, he wanted to use the shadows to hurt me mommy!"
The memory fades away here, as a figure of Mirage, not the one currently infesting Danny's mind now, but simply the masked Mirage of the past appears in front of him.
"So you claim to want to help Daniel now, except all you've ever done in life is look out for yourself. You were bullied, so you took it out on your brother. You were losing your parents love, so you lied about him to take it back. I could go on simply based on your career, but I think we both know you're nothing but a failure to yourself and others. So why don't you just say it. This isn't for Daniel is it? It's for your own goals, your own greedy chaotic mind. Don't worry, I don't hate you for it. I envy the hate you can have, the anger."
"I thought I told you...," T.K. manages to reply between tears, "You can't break me, I regret the mistakes of the past! I'm doing this to free a friend from your grasp and I'll do whatever it takes to free him of you!"
"Now now, you shouldn't lie Zachary, that's no fun at all."
Suddenly the image of Mirage disappears, and T.K. breathes a sigh of relief, perhaps he's finally going to be given a sense of freedom in this final few hours before his anticipated release. Some time to relax and concentrate, or perhaps not as suddenly the big man releases a huge cry of pain. A pain he recalls all too well as its the pain of a broken piece of glass cutting into the top of his shoulder as it's very slowly dragged across his back.
"What is this? How the hell are you doing this?"
"They're your fears, and it's your mind, you tell me Zachary, I'm simply a representation remember?"
The arrogance in Mirage's voice is quite clear as it feels as if he's whispering into the ear of the big man.
"Now why don't admit it, you're doing this for yourself aren't you? You don't care about anyone but yourself. Admit it!"
"No...it's not true."
"Oh these final few hours are going to be fun aren't they?"
Mirage muses as just less than eight hours remain until T.K.'s free, and at this rate, what kind of condition with teh Evolution of Man be in come match time?
Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. There's not a single clock in the room, however Danny hears the ticking inside his head as he's within eight hours away from freedom. Well, freedom that quickly turns into a bloodbath. While it'll be Mirage fighting the battle, Danny will still feel every ounce of pain Mirage is in. That can't be a good feeling. Knowing you'll hurt without being able to do anything about it; watching as someone else protects you. Of course, it's hard for Danny to focus on anything right now as he's been locked away for over sixteen hours with no food, water or even light.[/color]
"I wonder how long we've been in here."
"It's been a while, that's for sure. Don't fret, Daniel. We'll be out of here soon. And once we are, our glory will shine through as I destroy T.K."
"What exactly do you plan on doing to him?"
"All in due time, my friend. Why do you ask?"
"I don't know. It's just, me and him were pretty good friends. I just--"
"Don't tell me you're feeling sympathy for this fool."
"No, it's not that. I just...He wants to protect me."
"He's the one that requested this match. He's the one that claimed I was ruining you. This is his fault, Daniel, and he's going to pay the price for his mistake."
Danny sits there, not saying a word as he doesn't wish to further upset his counterpart. Too late, it seems. The body of Danny and Mirage shoots up to their feet.
"Damnit, Daniel, I know you're feeling regret and guilt right now for what I'm going to do to T.K. and it needs to stop!"
"But..."
"But nothing. He did this. Him. Not me. I didn't ask for this match. I don't give a fuck if he's a friend of yours or not. I will not sit back and let him spread lies that I'm bad for you, trying to tear us apart. I won't have it! The fact that you feel sympathy for him is fucking repulsive. Do you want me gone, Daniel? Do you?!"
"No."
"DO YOU?!"
"No!"
"Then act like it! I'm going to tear this pathetic little piece of insignificant shit limb from limb and you're going to watch the entire thing from the back of our mind. You aren't going to fight it - you're going to enjoy it, each and every second. It will be pure ecstasy for you. It will be the happiest you've ever been in your life. Got it?"
Danny hesitates a bit. He's clearly intimidated by Mirage right now.
"I asked you a question."
"Ye...Yes, sir."
"Good. Now let's sit back down and keep quiet. We need to keep our energy for this match."
The body of the duo sits back down as the two fade back into darkness, waiting to be freed from this horrid room.
0:7:45 0:7:44 0.7:43
The seconds are ticking away to freedom, but in his current state, can T.K. even will himself to prepare for it? He remains on the ground now as Mirage has beaten his sanity into the ground. How much longer can he last until he's got nothing left but to be physically destroyed by the true Mirage?
"Now now, if only you would stop lying to yourself this would all stop, admit the truth Zachary, you know yourself. You know what you really want."
"Fuck off."
"Come now, is this the man who claims to beat me? Such a feeble mind for a weak man I suppose. Hanging close to his lies as if he could fool himself. Is this the real T.K.? Are you truly this weak?"
T.K. growls, a sign of life and of anger.
"Oh, I like this, the anger, let it go."
"How about fuck you. I'm hungry, I'm thirsty and I'm tired. So here's how this is going to work. You're going to disappear from my head, because I'm not broken. Then I'm going to go out to that ring, and I'm going to destroy you and save Danny. Win or lose, I'll make sure he knows I'm right and then where will you be left."
Mirage says not a word as the Evolution of Man stands himself up. He looks towards the door before saying one final thing.
"Thank you, it was about time I got over old scars."
Thus the Mirage of Mirage fades away like dust in the wind, leaving T.K. ready to leave this room as only minutes leave. No scars to hold him down, no regrets, simply a mission and endless motivation.
As the match draws nearer and nearer, Danny is close to fading.
"Don't pass out, Daniel. Once the door opens and we head out there, we'll be kept alive with adrenaline. Only a few moments now, I'm sure."
"How can you still be so calm? I'm about to lose my bloody mind. I can't see a thing, I'm tired, I'm hungry, I'm thirsty. This is hell."
"I can assure you, this is not hell. I've been to hell and it's far worse than you can ever imagine. Pretty fun place for me, though, to be honest, but I suppose I'm close enough to the Devil for that be true. At least, according to T.K. Heh."
As a chuckle comes out of the mouth of Mirage, Danny can hardly pay attention to him, being in the condition he's in. All he can think about is getting a drink or some food.
"Listen up, Daniel. I'm not evil. You know what's evil? Society. We're in a place that loves violence. We're the gladiators, they're the Kings watching us fight for them. We just do as we're told but they are the ones telling us to do it. Listen to this quote. 'Tears on the mausoleum floor. Blood stains the coliseum door.' I'm not big on rap, but Jay-Z knows what he's talking about here. If one of us were to get injured, it's all good. They cheer anyway because it's the violence we're known for. If it were to happen to one of them, it'd be a whole different story. They'd shed tears for the real barbarians. Do you get what I'm saying, Daniel?"
"Not at all."
"Heh, I figured as much. The point is, dear Daniel, I'm not the evil one in all of this, no matter what T.K. tries to convince you. I'm just the most willing to accept our place in this barbaric World. I am the true definition of a warrior."
Suddenly, the door begins to creep open. The time is up.
"Look at that, we're free. Daniel, I want you to pay close attention to what's about to happen to T.K. This will be your first lesson in a long school of brutality. Let's go."
The duo get back to their feet and exit the room, ready to fight T.K.

JHalc vs TK : Vendetta After Rev Wars 3 Pt.1:
[quote="JHalc [SIN]"]
After Rev Wars 3
TK is packing up his things after the brutal match he just put on, looking nearly heartbroken he came so close, and yet remains so far from XWA gold. The arena itself has already emptied, and he is one of the last superstars remaining in the building. He takes off a solid black shirt, exposing some of the bandaged he received from the on site medical team after his match. He rubs his ribcage, with his left hand, and he throws the shirt into the open gym bag in front of him. TK grabs his ring gear out of the open locker, and throws it into the bag as well. As if hearing footsteps, he turns to the door, but nobody is there. Realizing he is probably just hearing noises, which wouldn't be too hard to imagine considering his ears haven't stopped ringing from the match two hours ago, he turns around and spots his reflection in a full length mirror on the adjacent wall. He steps over to it, probably seeing for the first time how beat up he actually is, when the "noises" he was hearing starts to talk to him.
Dante Cross: So you missed it by just that much. [holds out his index finger and thumb leaving about a once inch gap in between them]
TK: If you are here to rub it in Dante, I would first just like to mention that you didn't even have the balls to be booked tonight. You just ran down to get the scraps Razor Xtreme left you.
Dante Cross: Harsh words from somebody who looks like he was just beaten with a meat tenderizer. I didn't have a match because I didn't need a match to make an impact tonight. You went out there and gave your all, only to have people remember this as the night Draven Alexander won the NXD Title. I went out there, without a match and people are going to remember that this is the night I returned. So it doesn't seem so bad does it?
TK: I guess you have a point. What is it exactly that you want from me? The cameras aren't rolling, there are no screaming fans, no heat to be gained here. What do you want?
Dante: Lets just say that I was impressed with how you handled yourself out there. You are the kind of guy that it would be good to have around. A real rising star.
TK: So what? Are you here for an autograph or something?
Dante: Hardly. I am here to make you an offer. I want Extreme Domination to join up with me. I have a plan that involves taking over XWA, both Mayhem and Vendetta. And the more people I have with me, the better chance I have of that happening after the draft. So what do you say?
TK: You sure are full of surprises. Why don't you sit down and tell me what this is all about, and I can see what I can do for you.
Dante: No need, I can tell you everything you need to know in four words: The Cult is coming. And either you are with us... or you are in the way of us taking over.
Dante Cross turns around and leaves the room as TK starts respond. He realizes that Dante wasn't looking for an answer, as the question of whether or not he would join him was rhetorical in the first place. TK simply goes back to packing his bag, realizing that whatever show he ends up on... this week is going to be one wild ride.
The show returns from commercial following the shocking opening of the show. The camera feed pans the crowd, showing the fans, who are more pumped up then usual following the opening confrontation between JHalc, David Michaels, Razor Xtreme and Headhunter. As if the battle opening the show wasn't high energy enough though, the action in the ring hasn't even started yet. The camera's come to focus on the announce table where Chet Lemon is seated next to Eric Bull, clearly the only to people in the arena that are still sitting in their seats. The fans behind the two are pushing each other around, trying to make sure that they get their fifteen minutes of fame on television. Two of them to the left are stretching out over the others in the front row to display signs that say "JNM" and "Razor Xtreme is my hero!" where as one fan in the middle is just leaning over the barricade pointing at his shirt with "The Orgasmic Legend returns" written on the front in gold lettering. The security at ringside finally steps between the fans and the barricade to hide them from the view of the home audience as the announcers start to speak...
Bull: Well the show has certainly kicked off with a bang Chet. Four main eventers colliding in the opening segment is going to be hard to top.
Lemon: Well if there was a night to do it, it would be tonight. Not only do we have two of the biggest match-ups in recent history tonight, David Michaels vs Caleb Spires, and the #1 draft pick JHalc vs the #3 man TK, but we are coming off of one of the biggest PPV's of all time.
Bull: We sure are. JHalc made his return to the ring, Razor Xtreme won the world heavyweight championship, and Dante Cross returned with a group of men he simply refers to as "The Cult".
Lemon: Not only that Bull. You forgot the best part of it all. Caleb Spires returned and single handedly cut down NWD after Kanimaniac's XWA Championship win. And now he is running loose on Vendetta.
Bull: I didn't forget you idiot. I was just leaving something to talk about for later.
Lemon: Well you can leave whatever you haven't said yet for later, because right now we are live in the locker rooms with JHalc and David Michaels backstage. Apparently the two are not on the same page after all.
The feed cuts at once and quickly lights up in the backstage area. The camera is far off from the two men, who appear to be standing in the middle of a room at each others throats. The crowd can't make out the first bit of the argument due to technical difficulties in the sound equipment, but it appears that it has been going on since they were chased out of the arena just moments ago. Michaels is still in is street clothes, a half buttoned plaid shirt, cowboy hat, and light blue jeans. Where as JHalc has seemingly lost his pinstripe zip up jacket as he just stands there in a plain black shirt, and grey shorts. The sound feed comes back just as the two look as if they are about to come to blows.
JHalc: You had to almost superkick my damn face off for what reason exactly?
Michaels: I don't know what you are so mad about! If I wanted to drop you in the middle of the ring, I would have. It isn't like I haven't done it on more than one occasion before!
JHalc: [turning bright red at the comment, infuriated] What the hell is that supposed to mean? We have each won our fair share of matches in the past. You think you are better than me? I seem to remember beating you not only for a number one contenders spot, but being the first team to crush the Phenomenal ShowStoppas.
David Michaels: And I believe after that, Death Sentence was never able to beat me ever again. You got lucky once, and that was it. Face it, you have yet to do anything to show anyone that you are worth being in the main event. You couldn't even win the World Title last night.
JHalc: At least if I won it, I would have had the balls to carry it for more than five seconds before tucking tail and running away like a bitch!
David Michaels immediately steps back, as if struck by that last blow. Vacating the title and leaving XWA was still a fresher wound than many of the others the two had exchanged. Michaels had come back to XWA with the sole purpose of being able to wipe that memory from the minds of the fans, and didn't need it rubbed in his face anymore than it already had been. He takes a deep breath and seems to calm himself down before opening his mouth in a much softer tone.
David: This isn't helping anything. If we can't put all of this behind us, how are we supposed to coexist? Forget what happened out there, it isn't important. We need to look at the future.
The color fades from JHalc's face, almost as if all the frustration just drained from his body all at the same time. His expression remains unchanged though, and his posture doesn't soften even a bit.
JHalc: [defeated] Yea. I guess you are right. It doesn't mena I have to like it though. Come to think of it, I never want to get run out of any ring ever again. And I think I have an idea that will prevent that kind of thing from reoccurring.
Michaels: [taken aback by JHalc's words] I was actually thinking the same thing actually. I even made a couple of phone calls to some old friends that I think can help us out.
JHalc, suddenly has a flash of the anger that he showed just a few seconds ago, but fights back the emotion showing in his voice.
JHalc: What do you mean old friends? [with extra emphasis on the 's'] You forget that your friends are normally my enemies?
As if right on cue the door of the room shoots open and the familiar voice of the only mutual friend the two men have sounds throughout the room to a gracious pop from the fans at first, but then a quick boo when they realize he hasn't come back as the lovable idiot they remember. The man comes into the focus of the shot wearing a black beanie, and sporting an unfamiliar beard.
Tyler Lawson: I hate to break this up guys, but you won't believe who I ran into in the hallway.
The camera shoots back to the two men in the center of the room, who eye each other as if they have no idea who will walk in next. The appearance of Tyler Lawson does not seem to surprise either man, which means he was likely the mutual friend that they were just speaking of, as he is the only man to have tagged with both the DxWo and Death Sentence in the past. David Michaels turns away from Lawson, ignoring him as per usual, and shoots a harsh scowl at Jay.
David: This was your big idea? You are going to bring in Tyler Lawson, the glorified village idiot of professional wrestling. You trying to make this some kind of three man Death Sentence 4.0 or however the fuck many incarnations you people have had.
Tyler: You know actually....[cutoff]
David & JHalc: Shut Up!!!!!!
The two men scream in his direction at the same time, wanting to keep this argument going and not caring about whatever trivial fact he was going to throw out that may or may not have resolved the need for further argument between the long time foes.
JHalc: So now you are going to blame me? You were the one that just casually sounded off that you had been calling up old friends. Why can't I do the same. The guy has what it takes to help us out, what is so wrong with getting a little help.
Tyler Lawson stand to the left of the men now, soaking in everything that the two are saying. He produces an apple from the front pocket of his jacket, and takes a big bite into it, clearly an unconscious reference to the third man of the old Death Sentence stable. David looks from JHalc's face back to Lawson as he chews, and reaches out, smacking the apple from his hand. Tyler trails the apple's path through the air, and watches it crash down to the floor in what can only be described as complete sadness. As it rolls, likely out of his vision he turns back to David and is finally allowed to speak.
Tyler: First of all, that was really.... really.... uncalled for. I was eating that. Second of all: I received a call from both of you about coming back.
The camera pans backwards to show the expression on JHalc's face soften into a smirk, and David Michaels' turning into that of a child who got caught red handed with a cookie long after bed time. David turns from Tyler, to face JHalc but even before he is able to try and defend himself Tyler steps in between them and raises his arms preventing them from starting to fight again. Tyler himself starts to speak and makes the situation even worse for David.
Tyler: And.... as I was trying to say before I was rudely interrupted by you ladies.... I ran into Glick in the hallways and he said something about JTA making a comeback tonight?
JHalc rocks backwards as if he was slapped and the anger comes back all at once. He raises his left hand, as if he was actually going to take a swing, but stops himself and merely drapes his left arm around the shoulders of Tyler Lawson. Jay pulls him in close, and speaks to Tyler while looking directly at David....
JHalc: You mean to tell me that I just got grilled for calling in the only man that has been a partner of mine, and of David's. Only to find out that 75% of DxWo has been called in to "join" this group. Well, if you guys want to be a force to be reckoned with on Vendetta, I guess you should call in someone like DC Hennig, because I made a promise to a friend to be the DxWo's Death Sentence, and I am sure as hell not going to sink to the level of joining them. I'm out, have a good night guys.
JHalc pushes Tyler out of his way and then shoulder checks David as he storms past him as he tries, but fails, at making some argument that would ease the tension. JHalc reaches the door and takes one look back over his shoulder beofre leaving. He punches the door frame in his frustration, and then turns left down the hallway. The camera follows him only as far as the door way though, and then turns back around to view the two men left in the room. David shrugs his shoulders and moves over to a black leather couch along the backside of the room, as Tyler takes a seat in a matching reclining chair. The two look completely defeated, and what was supposed to be an epic reunion is spoiled. Just as the feed is about to cut, the two are startled by two people laughing hysterically in the hallway. The camera pivots around, to show J Glick A with his gym bag in one hand and his other arm around Nova. He throws his bag down on the ground to the left of the door and immediately starts talking to the two in the room without even taking note of their mood.
JGA: Guys, you didn't tell me that Nova was coming back... or that she was so well.... different than before.
David Michaels looks up, and smirks slightly at the joke and Tyler Lawson faces Nova with his eyes so wide that they might possibly pop out of his head. Nova just stands there and blushes slightly at all of the attention being on her, and just as JGA leaves her side and likely goes to find his own seat in the room, the feed cuts back to the arena.
The feed comes back from its second commercial break to a view of the backstage interviewing area. Lamar is wearing a black suit with red pinstripes, clearly way over dressed from how he usually looks. Lamar has no idea that the camera's have already started rolling, and is looking down at his note cards in his hand, trying to memorize exactly the questions he wants to ask. The camera shakes slightly as the man holding it likely waves at Lamar to get his attention. Lamar snaps back to reality looking around at first and then picking up his microphone emblazoned with the Vendetta logo. He looks into the camera, ignoring the sinking feeling in his stomach that he was basically just caught with his pants down, and starts to speak as if there is nothing wrong.
Lamar: Ladies and Gentlemen, at this time, I am standing by with the #3 draft pick in the XWA draft, and the #2 pick for Vendetta "The Evolution of Man" TK.
TK enters the frame from the right side, shirtless, and wearing his signature loose black pants. He wears an expression that could bring children to tears, pissed off about something, and it could be anything. Being drafted by a man he hates Razor Xtreme, or being separated from his tag team partner Rellim, which dividing Extreme Domination. It could even be the fact that just like his opponent tonight, TK came up just short of clenching his first championship belt at Rev Wars three, only to have his hopes stomped out in the final seconds of the match. Lamar studies his expression as TK looks around the interviewing set. First at the large flat screen hanging behind them that displays only the XWA logo, as there is no current action in the arena, and then to the red lights along the floor, that make white curtain behind them turn crimson. He eventually brings his attention to Lamar, and asks him a question himself.
TK: Are we just going to stand around admiring the props, or do you actually have a reason for dragging me out here?
Just as he did moments ago Lamar snaps back to life, remembering what XWA is graciously paying him to do. He looks down at his cards and shuffles them around, looking for the question he wanted to start with. TK reaches forwards and grabs the cards out of his hands glaring down at Lamar as if he is the sole object of his disdain.
TK: Let me help you with these....
He throws the cards over his shoulder, leaving Lamar to have to come up with something on his own, but the much smaller and clearly intimidated interviewer stumbles and mutters over his own words before he finally manages to squeak out a question.
Lamar: t.t..t..t..t.....TK... There are rumors going around that you have asked for a trade to Mayhem. May I ask why that is?
TK: [impressed that Lamar even spoke] Well it is pretty simple. I am part of a group called Extreme Domination, and there is simply no way to become a dominant team without being on the same brand. I want Rellim and I to be considered one of the greatest tag teams in XWA history, and that isn't something I can do if I am being booked by an imbecile like Razor Xtreme.
Lamar: [gaining more confidence] So you ask for a trade because of the friction between you and Razor Xtreme, and not because of the rumors that you were not willing to compete against the likes of David Michaels, Caleb Spires, or your opponent tonight JHalc?
TK: [clearly agitated] I think you of all people, as somebody that watches the matches, and watches every single XWA show should know that "The Evolution of Man" is scared of no man. When I get in that ring magic happens, I am nearly unbeatable. Nobody on this roster can ever, and will ever intimidate me.
Lamar: Well now that we have those rumors cleared up, what is your relationship with Dante Cross? Last night Dante Cross, his brother Kris, and TJ Thunder came down to the ring and beat up on all of the men in the World Heavyweight Championship match. Word around the locker room is, he is forming an army, and you are part of it.
TK: Dante Cross is quite a character. Runs around calling himself some kind of "savior". I would be lying to you if I told you he hasn't spoken with me, but the fact remains Extreme Domination doesn't play second fiddle to any kind of faction.
Lamar: So you are telling me now that Dante Cross has indeed formed a group here in XWA?
TK: You can call it that if you want, you can even call it a Cult. The fact remains that I am going to do what I want, when I want, because I want. Neither Dante Cross, or anyone else is going to stop that. So if Cross wants to form some kind of partnership with me that isn't going to change that. What do I have to lose exactly?
Lamar: What about your match tonight? JHalc was the #1 pick in the draft, and you were #3. You both came up short at Rev Wars, and now you are thrown in a match together. What are your thoughts on "The Main Event"
TK: What are my thoughts? Let's see.... besides the fact that this "Main Event" star hasn't done a damn thing other than lose in any of his runs with XWA, I find it appalling that he is drafted over me. Clearly only an idiot like Razor Xtreme would do something like that, and it is a joke the way that the draft transpired. As for tonight, I am going to help JHalc do what he does best, and that is continue on his losing streak.
Lamar: I have but one final question for you, and then you are free to go about your business preparing for tonight. How do you intend to neutralize David Michaels in your match tonight? JNM have already played the numbers game against a legend like Headhunter. How are you going to stand up to them now that Tyler Lawson and J Glick A are in the mix?
TK: [actually laughs out loud at the question] How am I going to stand up to them? Have you not been watching the show? JHalc and David Michaels can't stand each other, they never have been able to get along. They aren't going to be a factor in this match. And on the off chance that they are.... well... we already talked about me back up.
At that TK steps out of the interview area and the camera follows him as he goes. As he starts down the hallway he is joined at his side by two men who were standing out of the view of the camera until now: Dante and Kris Cross. The three walk down the hallway and disappear from view around a corner as the feed cuts back to the arena for the next match.
Just after the Pure Title Contender match, before the commercial break
The feed cuts back stage for just a moment, to find JHalc in a deserted hallway warming up for his match. He is already in ring gear, and as he picks up his hat to start walking towards what is likely his entrance platform, he is stopped by a voice from down the hall. Tyler Lawson is coming towards him, faster than a jog, but slower than a sprint yelling at him to hold on. JHalc first looks down at the cement floor, thinking back to earlier in the night, and how the meeting with Tyler and David had gone. He stops walking however and turns around to face the man that has been his rival for most of his career. Lawson has changed into a black shirt, with just the letters JTA across the front of them. He is carrying with him a small black bag and just as he reaches JHalc he throws him the bag, and catches his breath.
JHalc: What the hell is this?
Lawson: Just a little something that me and the guys were talking about. We realize that earlier tonight things didn't go as planned. But that doesn't mean we can't make it work.
JHalc reaches into the bag and pulls out a shirt, (being sold at concession stands right now mind you) with pictures of himself and David Michaels across the front, with the words They never saw it coming.... under them. He spins it around to see the back of it, noting that the camera is also behind him and the fans will want to see the whole thing as well. Across the back is the single phrase in the same lettering that can only stand for one thing..... "Are you ready?" JHalc looks from the shirt to Lawson and then back to the shirt before opening his mouth in response.
JHalc: What the hell is this? I told you guys earlier that I am not going to be a part of some kind of DxWo reunion. I hate the DxWo. I stood against them and got injured for it. Why the hell would I want this?
Lawson: [expecting this reaction] All that I am asking you is that you try it out. Just stand with us for this one night, and let's see how it goes. What do you have to lose? If you aren't in after tonight... well then that is it, we'll leave you alone.
JHalc: Seriously. One time. And if I don't like it, I walk?
Lawson: No strings attached, no hard feelings. Just try it out.
Tyler Lawson walks away from JHalc and the camera spins around to show his face. He looks down at the shirt in his hands and smirks first, and then flat out laughs out loud, probably thinking about the history of the four men trying to be on the same page. He looks back up to make sure Tyler Lawson has disappeared down the hallway and turns around heading back for the stage to make his entrance. The feed dies away to commercial as he turns.
The scene returns briefly to the back stage area. TK is shown against the white cinderblock wall taping up his left hand, preparing for the battle that lies before him. He finishes up his hand and tilts his head slightly to the left, popping his neck when he is approached by the man he was seen with earlier, Dante Cross. Dante walks up to him and puts his hand on his shoulder, a move that surprises TK, and he half spins around as if he is being attacked. He sees that it is Dante and shakes his head in what looks like disappointment before he says even a word to him.
TK: You know. That is the second time you have done that to me, next time I can't promise you won't get hit.
Dante: I am pretty sure I can handle myself. Anyways, on to more important matter than your hollow threats against me. Tyler Lawson just convinced JHalc to give this DxWo reformation a chance. Looks like going out there alone might be a terrible idea after all.
TK: Is that your way to telling me that you are coming down to ringside with me whether I like it or not?
Dante: Not necessarily, but I am always here to help. I just thought I would give you the heads up. Just wanted you to know that I will be watching, and all you have to do is say the word, and I will be out there.
TK: You will just slow me down. You have already had a match tonight. Why don't you go back to the locker room, sit back, and watch how the "Evolution of Man" gets the job done on his own. Alright?
TK doesn't even wait for Dante to respond and immediately after finishing turns and walks away towards the stage. The camera zooms in on Dante's face for just a second before it cuts back to TK's entrance, and introduction for the match and the crowd can see Dante's surprise at being shot down for his services. However, there is also just a hint of satisfaction, possibly at the thought of just how much potential TK has in The Cult.
The feed cuts to the arena just in time to catch the start of TK's music and just as the camera's stop spanning the crowd, who are already on their feet booing the hell out of the man, six bright red flame pyro's shoot up from across the stage, and the arena goes otherwise dark as the lights are cut. Almost as if the flames themselves knocked them out. A handful of seconds go by, the fans, who have already back off of the booing that started alongside the music hang in the moment waiting for TK to actually make his way through the curtain before they waste all of the heat they have to give him. As is waiting for the fans to be at their quietest TK shoots through the left curtain under the titantron and gets the full force of the fans' hatred. He steps out onto the stage and stops just short of the ramp as the crowd volume rises to rival that of the deafening PA system that is playing his music. TK smiles, welcoming the reaction, soaking in the boos in order to pump himself up, and the flames on the stage finally die down and extinguish. The camera's zoom away from the man, and the further they get away the bigger he seems to be. His dark black pants cover his solid black boots, but do little to hide just how tall the man is. He looks down at the ramp and says something to himself that the fans will try and figure out for years to come as the announcers start to dissect his entrance.
Bull: I don't think that I have ever seen a man get so much heat this early in his career Chet.
Lemon: Well it seems to come naturally for TK. He is one of the few guys that can feed off of any crowd reaction, positive or negative and turn it into energy in the ring. That is just god given talent.
Bull: Well being one of the youngest superstars on the roster hasn't slowed him down a bit either. At only 17 years old the kid is cocky as they come, calling himself the "Evolution of Man"
Lemon: It isn't like he hasn't backed it up in the ring either Bull. He has a record of 4-1 here in XWA, with his only loss coming this past weekend at Rev Wars. He was however, the last elimination in that match though, outlasting the Veteran Safari even.
Just as the flames extinguish completely TK takes a single step forward onto the ramp, and the house lights come up above the ring, bathing it in pure white light, as if it were the single shining star in the arena. In addition, a spotlight shines down on TK, following his path down to the ring. The rest of the arena is still in darkness, and a cameraman on the ramp zooms in on TK as he pauses once more in the center of the ramp to look out at the fans. The camera follows his gaze, and into the crowd which is near completely black, the people are merely shadows. The only color that the camera can pick up are the neon colored signs, one of which reads "I am the evolution of TK!" The camera pans the black and faceless crowd until it arrives back on TK, who scowls at them, and likely specifically at the sight of that sign. He starts moving towards the ring again at a slow and calculated pace as the announcers continue on about him.
Bull: I am surprised we haven't seen and of the TK 4-2 signs out there tonight Chet.
Lemon: I would probably chalk that up to the fact that he isn't undefeated anymore, so the fans don't care if he loses.
Bull: I don't think that they want to see JHalc win either though, these fans aren't that fickle.
TK gets down to ring side and takes a look into the brilliantly shining ring as his spotlight is killed now that he is under the ring lights. The feed cuts to a camera on the other side of the ring, and the fans looking up at the titantron are amazed at his size. The second ring rope is just about on eye level as he stands on the floor, and as he steps up onto the second stair leading up to the ring, he already towers well over the top rope. He takes a couple more steps along the ring apron and then takes a hold of the top rope and effortlessly throws only leg over, which is followed by the other. TK, a man that has never been at a size disadvantage steps into the center of the ring as the lights above the ring are now joined by all of the house lights coming up, and illuminating the whole arena. TK raises his hand to his neck area and motions for the music to stop playing. The music immediately fades out but the fan reaction only gets louder. TK raise his other arm to his side as he is just soaking in all of the hatred that the fans are throwing at him. Just as they start to die down though, familiar music hits the PA and the fans forget who is a heel and who is a face just long enough to throw out the biggest pop of the night.
Lemon: DXWO!!! DXWO!!!! DXWO!!!!
Bull: We get it you loony. Where have you been all night?
The lights in the arena die out and as they do the green laser lights shoot out from below the stage and circle around the crowd in true DxWo fashion. The crowd goes wild, and as if by some form of mark magic the cameras pan the crowd showing hundreds of the glow sticks that a wrestling company, and a group of wrestlers long retired made famous. The fans are on there feet just erupting in cheers for a long time fan favorite group. Just as the music changes to the king of rock remix both sides of the curtain under that stage burst open and Tyler Lawson and JGA appear under the titantron and step out onto the stage around the hidden lift that JHalc comes up on. Fog actually starts to cloud onto the stage, and at first Tyler and JGA look down at it confused, but that only lasts for a second. The last man out onto the stage is David Michaels, dressed for his battle later on Caleb Spires. David comes out onto the stage without his usual energy though, probably having to be convinced to even try this just like JHalc was moments ago. Tyler Lawson who stands to the right of the lift arcs his arms in nWo fashion pointing down at the lift where the only man left to make and entrance should appear any moment. JGA, taking a cue from TJ does the exact same thing and they stand there for a moment with the music playing just waiting for JHalc to pop up.
Bull: Only one person left to make this thing a DxWo reformation.
Lemon: You mean only one man left that actually has a reason to be out here in the first place.
The fog thickens on the stage, and the green lights are the first to stop swirling around the crowd. The crowd sits in complete confusion for a moment, and then the music cuts as well. The cheers stop at once, and are replaced by the restless whispers of 10,000 people asking each other what is going on. It is only then that JHalc's spotlight under the titantron lights up, showing the outlines of Tyler Lawson, JGA and David Michaels, who are all moving around the stage looking just as confused inside the fog. The lift doesn't activate even at this point though, and instead from the top of the fog comes and object that is being lowered on a rope from the top of the arena. It continues dropping all the way to the floor, and just as it should come to rest it disappears as the false floor as already dropped down to get the waiting "Main Event" just seconds after the microphone hanging on the cord disappears the ever familiar cocky voice of JHalc comes through the PA system.
JHalc: I know you guys asked me to try this just this one time. But I already had big plans for tonight, and I will be dammed if I ruin it for the DxWo. So ladies, I am sorry to disappoint, but those little green laser lights are about to get owned by something a little flashier.
Bull: Death Sentence!!!!
Lemon: Well there goes the idea of everyone being on the same page. Death Sentence is in the house.

Part 2:
The crowd again goes wild as the lift finally starts to raise JHalc to the stage and his outline in the fog says everything about the mood he is in. He is semi crouched over with his left hand on his hat basically headbanging to his old Death Sentence theme as the other three men on the stage all back out of the fog and onto the stage itself staring at the whole JHalc will appear from in what can only be described as embarrassment. JHalc played them all for fools, and he is determined not to let his legacy be crushed once again by DxWo. Finally the lift stops and JHalc stands straight up in the fog. He lifts both of his arms up and at once triggering a display of white and dark grey (nearly black) pyros that shoot both up from the stage and down from the ceiling. JHalc steps forward, out of the fog and onto the top of the stage in front of the ramp and shoots a look over to his compatriots. The camera zooms in on his face as he looks at them and catches him say, "I didn't need you before, and I don't need you now..." JHalc turns away from them at once and sprints to the ring. He reaches the bottom of the ramp and slides under the bottom rope coming right to the feet of TK completely without fear despite the size difference in the men. The feed cuts from the staredown between the two in the ring, back to the stage where JGA, Tyler Lawson, and David Michaels are all huddled together, talking about what exactly they should do now that JHalc has smacked them in the face. Back in the ring JHalc slides away from TK before standing up in the corner and mounting the second turnbuckle. JHalc removes his signature hat and places it on the top of the ring post and as he sets it down looks out into the crowd. Listening to their excitement he looks down at his shirt, to remember how it was this group that launched his career. As he does he points to his shirt which displays the old Death Sentence orange and white logo, he promptly takes it off and throws it into the crowd, to their delight. He turns and jumps down off the turnbuckle as the music cuts and the house lights come up for the introductions.
Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, if I may have your attention please. Introducing first, weighing in tonight at an astonishing 255 lbs., hailing from Virginia Beach, Virginia he is "The Evolution of Man" and the Number 3 draft pick in the 2010 XWA draft T.K.!!!!!!!!
The crowd, having all but turned completely against TK now that JHalc has captured their hearts with this blast from the past entrance, continue the ovation of hatred that they were giving before the DxWo theme interrupted them. TK holds his arms out to his sides again and just stands there soaking it in, turning all of their boos into his drive to win and show them that he is better than they will ever be. The ring announcer waits for the ovation to die down before he starts on the second man in the ring. Before he does though, the camera's cut away from the ring, and shows that the three DxWo members on the stage have now moved to the top of the ramp, and have the full attention of JHalc.
Ring Announcer: And his opponent, hailing from Vista, California and weighing in tonight at a solid 233 lbs, he was the Number 1 draft pick in the 2010 XWA draft, he is "The Main Event" JHALC!!!!!!
The fans continue to go wild, but JHalc doesn't even react to them. Up on the stage the Lawson, Michaels and JGA have come to a decision. The duo of Lawson and JGA turn around back towards the curtain and walk off, whereas Michaels starts down the ramp to his own portion of booing from the crowd. JHalc shakes his head and smirks at the hotheadedness of his would be tag team partner and turns back to TK in the ring. However, he had already taken his eye off the ball and gets blindsided as the bell rings.
The big boot of TK crashes into the back of JHalc's skull and almost sends him up and over the top rope, instead his forward momentum rebounds him off the ropes and sends him quickly backwards into the waiting arms of TK who hits a release German suplex tossing JHalc over his head and sending him crashing down head and neck first on the mat on the other side of the ring.
Lemon: That was one of the cheapest shots I have ever seen taken.
Bull: Once the bell rings, it is all legal. It is odd to say a rookie take advantage of that fact against a seasoned veteran though.
Lemon: JHalc needs to get his focus on this match, and not anything else that is going on.
Bull: It is going to be hard to come back from a kick to the head, followed by a seven foot drop onto your head.
JHalc continues his momentum and rolls himself out of the ring under the bottom rope to buy himself some time to recover. He lands on his feet outside the ring, but just as he does he is put face to face with the man that put him in the situation in the first place... David Michaels. Michaels circles around him drawing his attention once more away from the ring, and the man he is battling inside of it. TK takes advantage again. Leaning his giant frame over the top rope he grabs a handful of JHalc's hair and pulls him up onto the apron. TK drops a big right forearm across JHalc's chest the turns his whole upper body red along the point of impact. TK turns JHalc around just as David Michaels turns the corner and walks along the side of the announce table. Jay tries to fight back and swings his right arm at TK, but the shot is ducked, and TK sends JHalc for a ride back into the ring with a snap suplex. David gets to the end of the announce table as JHalc arches his back in pain and again rolls away from TK, although this time he locks eyes with David Michaels as he sits down at the announce table and throws on a headset to join the commentary team.
Lemon: It appears that we are going to be joined by the Heartbreak Kid David Michaels here at our table.
David: That is right boys, you are in the presence of a living XWA legend.
Bull: I am always in the presence of a legend. I hang out with myself all day everyday.
David: Bull that is because nobody else wants to be around you. And real legends don't rig matches and name themselves World Champion.
Lemon: Now, now guys we aren't here to fight, we are here to call a match.
Bull: And right now your tag team partner is getting beaten down because of you.
David: I resent that. It isn't like I have done anything to him. He said he didn't need my help to win. So I haven't given it. I just thought I would come down and enjoy the view.
JHalc doesn't have time to worry about David though. TK rushes towards him, wanting to continue the vicious onslaught that he started from the moment that the bell rang and the match got underway. The crowd has settled back down into their seats. Not sure what reaction to have to the two men that don't give a damn about how they think about them. Two men that aren't going to have hurt feelings about getting booed. JHalc sits up to try and defend himself but gets a boot to his chest from TK in the blink of an eye. JHalc's body snaps back onto the mat, with the last thing hitting being the back of his head, which bangs once again off the mat unprotected. TK goes to work on the surgically repaired knee of Jay though first stomping on the knee and leg itself but then he bends down and scoops up JHalc's ankle and pulls his leg up into the air high, nearly bringing Jhalc's entire body off the mat with brute strength. JHalc lets out a cry of pain, and as TK brings him back down he kicks at him with his free leg and is able to free himself. JHalc rolls head over heels backwards away from TK and into a corner where the referee steps in between the two men as JHalc leans between the top and middle ropes to basically get a free time out on the match. TK allows the ref to back him up, and Jay gets up to his feet and starts to shake out his arms and legs, trying to forget the opening to this match, and how he has yet to do anything other than be a punching bag. The referee finally steps out of the way, and the two men start to circle each other in the middle of the ring. The fans once again get into the the action and start to stand up to see what is going to happen when these two men actually lock up face to face. The chants are all over the place though, to the point that none are really audible. Both men are getting their fair share of the booing though.
Lemon: This is what the fans came to see, not some kind of blindside attack on a distracted superstar.
David: Real veterans don't get distracted by what goes on outside the ring Lemon. You would know that if you had ever been in one in your life.
Bull: I have been in the ring, and if someone that you are suppose to trust throws you under the bus, it is pretty hard to stay focused on the match at hand.
David: Notice that I said "real" veterans. Don't put yourself in that group champ.
JHalc and TK lock up for the first time and the crowd electrifies with cheers like they did for the DxWo music earlier. TK easily pushes JHalc back against the turnbuckle though, as Jay is unable to stop the size disadvantage and gets the business end of a Ric Flair chop. JHalc's feet go up in the air, and he leans back on the top rope with his shoulders from the impact. Across his chest is now a red 'T' shape from the damage TK has done to him. TK goes for another chop though and JHalc is able to get his arms up to block the impact. TK pulls back his left arm to swing again, but JHalc shoots a quick kick to his knee that makes him stop for just half a second. JHalc takes advantage of the space he is given and sends a lightning fact dropkick to his knee that drops TK to the mat. JHalc gets back up to his feet, quickly and TK has only made it back onto his knees. Jay turns around, trying to knock the big man down using his speed and agility, he runs past TK, and springs off the middle rope, hits the top rope momentarily and launches himself backwards smacking chest to chest against TK and driving him to the mat with the Best Moonsault Ever. JHalc uses his momentum once more to roll back to his feet, knowing he needs to keep the tempo of the match up if he is going to stay on offense, he takes a step towards TK and flips himself forward landing across his body with a standing senton. TK lifts his upperbody up off the ground after having all of the air driven out of his stomach and rolls over on to his side. JHalc stays at him though, trying to keep the big man down. He runs to the ropes once again, and just as TK starts to pull his knees under him and force his upper body up off the canvas Jay leg drops the back of his neck and drives him face first back down.
Bull: A lot higher tempo than we usually see from JHalc.
Lemon: He has always had the speed, but never the massive height difference to overcome. TK is built like a brick house, the guy is hard to move.
David: The problem with speed is, once you get knocked down, it is hard to get back up.
Lemon: As the saying goes, high risk equals high reward. But it only takes one slip to cost you the match.
TK's head bounces off the mat, and he probably understands how Jay felt at the beginning of the bout. Jay backs away from TK as he tries to get up this time, breathing heavily and trying to catch his breath from the flurry of offense he just dealt out. TK gets to his feet with ease though, the big man seems to have no ill effect at all. Trying to catch the smaller Jay off guard though, TK rushes him in the corner, but JHalc ducks the clothesline and runs towards the other side of the ring. He gets to the ropes and rebounds off them for extra speed and heads back towards TK who is already waiting for him though. Unable to stop JHalc runs right into TK's signature spinning spine buster that drives all of TK's weight into JHalc's ribs as the hit the mat in a near dive. The gasp of air JHalc takes can be heard in the front row of the audience but that is drowned out quickly by the simultaneous "OoO" sound everyone lets out as they imagine the pain the move caused. TK stands up and refuses to give JHalc the space that allowed him to take over earlier. He grabs the left leg again, and this time yanks at it trying to pull it out of socket twice before turning JHalc over by just twisting the ankle and applying a half Boston crab to the damaged leg. JHalc comes to life in pain, but the ropes are too far away to grab at the moment, so instead he forces his upper body up off the mat and lurches forward, he gains a good deal of distance before crashing down to the mat on his chest. The move pays off though as TK is forced to take a step backwards, he stumbles and has to loosen his hold, or risk falling down. JHalc is able to wiggle his ankle free and turn over before kicking with both legs at TK to back him away.
David: That is really unbecoming of a veteran right there, kicking like a child to get away from an enemy.
Bull: That is certainly one way to look at it. But someone who wins a world title only to vacate it and run away really has no business judging the actions of others.
Lemon: If you two can't get along and call this match, I might have to separate you.
JHalc goes to roll backwards away from TK for yet another time in the match, but TK was already planning for it. As JHalc rolls TK charges him and just as Jay's feet hit the mat he is leveled with a high knee to the face. JHalc bounces off the mat, but doesn't let that kill his momentum, he springs back up at once, but this time walks right into a kick to the midsection. TK pulls Jay in towards him and hooks both of his arms and drops down bringing JHalc head first to the mat with the Tigerbomb 2. TK wastes no time turning JHalc over, and drapes his body across him making sure to rub his elbow in his face in the process.....
1....
2....[JHalc's foot on the ropes breaks the count]
Lemon: Rookie mistake right there.
Bull: He may have pinned the number one contender right there, but he didn't hook his leg, and Jay was way to close to the ropes for the pin.
David: Way to close? TK rolled him right towards the ropes, it is almost like he is trying to lose on purpose or something.
TK looks up at the ref in shock, the look on his face is just disappointment in himself and the fans are really letting him have it with laughs and boos. TK doesn't waste any time dwelling on it though, he pulls JHalc away from the ropes and attempts the pin for the second time...
1....
2...[kickout]
JHalc manages to kick out convincingly this time, show the fans that there is still fight left in him. TK seems more than a little disappointed this time and he reaches down and hooks JHalc's leg for a third pin attempt....
1....
2..... [rollout]
JHalc is barely able to roll his shoulder out from under TK's body this time and TK sensing that JHalc is running out of energy doesn't attempt a third pin, but instead lifts the man up to his feet once again. JHalc staggers around and TK kicks him in the gut, and pulls him in, locking up his arms and trying to the tigerbomb to put the match away. Instead JHalc powers his body up and in a real shocker for the fans is actually able to stand and flip TK over his head with a back body drop. JHalc immediately falls to the ground. Holding his back and in obvious pain, possibly tearing a muscle off the bone lifting a larger man over his head like that. TK himself seems more stunned than anything He rolls over on to his side and pushes himself up to his feet. JHalc is up as well though and charges at him JHalc leaps and prays that he gets enough height to reach the big man's shoulders JHalc lands in perfect position for the leg lariat but TK grabs a hold of JHalc's waist and drives him down to the mat hard with a powerbomb counter. JHalc writhes on the mat in pain at first, but one well placed boot to the skull from TK puts an end to that. JHalc's body goes limp, and TK looks around the arena for some kind of inspiration. A sick smile crosses his face and he walks straight over to the nearest section of the ropes and promptly steps over them. The fans along the barricade boo significantly and TK stops for just a second to entertain himself at their expense. He flips them all the middle finger and mouths the words "I am better than you" at them before turning his focus to the near turnbuckle. He takes one step forward and he is at it, and just as he puts his foot on the middle turnbuckle the announce team comes to realize the end is near.
Bull:TK is climbing up to the top rope, if he hits the big man frogsplash this thing is all over.
Lemon: I am amazed every single time he manages to get his big frame up there. The man is almost 7 feet tall.
Michaels: JHalc is in serious trouble here. It's all over for him now.
TK puts one giant boot up on the top rope as he mounts the turnbuckle and surveys the downed JHalc still out cold from the power bomb that came out of nowhere. As TK moves his second foot from the middle rope up to the top, JHalc snaps back to life in an instant likely hitting his second wind, and trying to hit one last ditch effort to save the match. Jay is up in a flash and as TK tries to reach down and balance his large frame JHalc jumps and springboards off of the middle rope close to the turnbuckle that TK is helplessly perched upon. Just as TK gets a foot back down on to the middle rope and a balancing hand back on to the top rope JHalc grabs his head in mid air, and drives him down to the mat with a top rope modified RJB. The two men crash down to the ground, TK landing face first, and due to his size his feet are still up on the middle rope and he still hangs partially in mid air. JHalc smashes the mat hard on his back, and rolls away from TK in pain, arching his back and twisting his face into a grimace. The only motion from TK though comes moments later when his feet fall from the ropes and to the mat. The crowd is electric and everyone, shoots back up to their feet and immediately a "this is awesome" chant resounds throughout the arena. The referee is still in shock from the fall, and even after a handful of seconds pass by, he has yet to start to count both men down. He just stands there surveying the damage as if he had forgotten his place in the world. The fans cheer louder and louder as the chant continues and eventually that is what snaps the ref back to life. He checks both men and then raises his hands to start the count....
1..... neither men so much as move to take a breath..
2.... the chant in the crowd turns from "this is awesome" to rapid screams of "get up"
3.... JHalc rolls over on to his side, and surveys the damage done to TK but doesn't get back to his feet.
4.... Still no movement from TK, Jhalc is now dragging his beat up body across the ring towards where TK lays.
5.... Looking as if he is fighting to stay conscious, JHalc gets ever closer to TK.
6..... JHalc reaches the lifeless big man and starts to pull him over onto his back and out of reach of the ropes, but still doesn't even try and stand up.
7...... JHalc gets him turned over and reaches down to hook his far leg....
8..... JHalc hooks the leg and forces himself up over TK for the pin.
The ref goes to count nine just as JHalc gets himself in position for the pin, but is distracted at once. David Michaels throws his headset down on the table and springs from his seat. The referee sees the motion out of the corner of his eye and turns from JHalc and TK to The ShowStoppa. One half of the crowd starts to boo loudly as Michaels climbs up on to the apron to have a few words with the referee who is yelling at him to leave ringside and get back to the locker room. The other half of the crowd counts JHalc's pin on TK, and continues all the way up to a 5 count before they stop and start booing the hell out of Michaels as well.
Bull: What the hell is Michaels doing on the apron? TK is down, JHalc has the pin, but the referee is paying more attention to Michaels than he is the match.
Lemon: I thought Michaels was here to help Jay out, not prevent him from winning the match.
Bull: Maybe since JHalc said he could win it without Michaels help, Michaels is making sure he can't win it period.
JHalc looks up at the referee and screams for him to count the pin, but he simply is not paying attention at all. David is acting wild on the apron, waving his arms and cutting off the ref every time he tries to tell him to get away from the ring. Jay looks down at TK, who is starting to come to, the effects from the RJB starting to fade away. It has been at least a full minute since the two came crashing down off of the top rope. JHalc releases TK's leg and pushes himself up to his feet, making his way over to where Michaels and the ref are continuing to debate whether or not Michaels should even be at ringside. JHalc pulls the ref away from the ropes, but that is no good. The ref turns all of his frustration at Michaels towards JHalc and grabs a hold of his referee shirt. He pulls it up to show JHalc, screaming at him that if he touches him again he will be disqualified. JHalc points down at TK, who is getting up to his feet by using the ring ropes, and the referee blows him off to go back to handling Michaels. JHalc turns around, back to TK, who has almost made it back to his feet now, but realizes he can't win with a distracted ref. Instead JHalc turns back around to his could have been stable mate and this time goes around the referee to get his attention. TK, however, is back on his feet and is now sizing up JHalc for a blind shot for the second time in the match. He charges, but as if sensing his own destruction, JHalc leans backwards and avoids contact with the big boot. It instead crashing right into the face of David Michaels who is sent flailing off of the turnbuckle and down so hard to the floor that he hits the back of his head against the announce table on the outside. TK looks completely happy with the development, one enemy being just as good as any other, and the referee immediately calls for medical assistance at ringside. He leans through the ropes yelling at David, asking him if he is alright, or if he needs help and gets no answer back whatsoever. Michaels merely looks up to the arena ceiling in a blind stare, not knowing where he is. It is JHalc's turn to take advantage though. He heads to the ringpost where he left his hat lying at the beginning of the match and pulls something out of the inside rim while the referee is checking on Michaels. TK however, is not distracted and spins JHalc around, not seeing what he has in his hand. JHalc swings wildly, but is cut short by a boot to the gut from TK. He puts him in the powerbomb position and lifts him up for what could be the first trip down in the trifecta. JHalc however swings wildly again with his left hand, holding what appears to be brass knuckles that he has gotten out of his hat. He connects with a blow to the side of the big man's head but TK, brings him down hard on the back of his head, and JHalc's body folds up with the weight of the big man pressing down on him.
Bull: JHalc just beaned him in the head with brass knuckles and he is still standing?
Lemon: He is the evolution of normal men Bull, his tolerance for pain is unrivaled. No normal man can hope to put him down with a single shot.
TK pauses for just a second, but maintains his hold on Jay's waist. He gets himself together enough to get his feet under him and power JHalc back up seven feet in the air for another ride down to the mat, but JHalc still has fight remaining in him too. He takes another swing at the unprotected head of TK, this time busting him open on the left side of his forehead as the brass scrapes against his skin. TK takes a step backwards, as if he is going to fall, and bring JHalc down on top of him, but keeps his balance and falls forward yet again, dropping JHalc even harder this time on the back on his neck. This time TK almost doesn't show any sign of movement, but neither does JHalc. The medical team at ringside finally gets to David Michaels and the referee is just moments from turning his attention back to the match. TK gets his feet under him for a final time and manages to groggily pull JHalc's nearly dead weight body up to his shoulders. In a desperation swing that couldnt have had full force behind it, JHalc takes his final opportunity to swing at the gash he created in TK's forehead on the way down to the mat the second time, and cuts it open further. The shot stands TK straight up, and he almost falls backwards yet again, but the force of the punch, and the lack of strength in JHalc's hand actually causes him to lose grip on the brass knuckles as the and the giant loosens his grip on his legs and fall forward. The brass falls out of JHalc's grip and bounces to the floor, but Jay sensing his only opening drops his left leg down to hook TK's arm as they fall, and the two men hit the ground hard as TK finishes his triple powerbombsignature. JHalc however has also managed to lock his legs around TK in the flying triangle and as the two men hit the mat TK's air supply is cut while while JHalc's air is forced out from the impact. The referee turns around, seeing only the submission and none of the illegal actions before hand as the fans stop cheering for JHalc and are now caught in a limbo of who to boo for. TK the heel, or JHalc the cheater. JHalc leans back with all of the strength he has left forcing TK to choke himself out trying to fight away from the hold. Finally as JHalc is about to run out of the strength to hold the monster of a man to the ground, TK's hand viciously taps the mat three times as he concedes victory and taps out.
DING DING DING
Bull: JHalc has done it. He has snapped his losing streak, and shown why he was the number one pick for good reason.
Lemon: And why is that Bull? Because he can cheat better than anyone else?
Bull: You do what you have to do to win Chet, every single time you get in that ring if you have to.
Lemon: Just when I start to think maybe he will do the right thing, JHalc proves to us all why he can't be trusted.
Bull: If you remember he did have this match won before Michaels got involved.
JHalc releases the hold on TK almost immediately and the fans get up and boo at the finish to what was otherwise a clean match from both men. JHalc rolls away, clearly out of breath and is helped up to his feet by the referee that had threatened to disqualify him moments ago. He is up on his feet in the corner as David Michaels pushes the medical team away screaming at them that he is fine, and is also helped to his feet. The ring announcer behind Michaels also gets up and steps up to his side as the music is turned down slightly and the winner is announced.
Ring Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a winner to this contest via submission "The Main Event" JHalc!!!!!!!
The referee in the ring raises JHalc hand, the one that had just illegally beaten the fight out of TK, and led to the flying triangle ending the match. David Michaels looks to his side and shoots an evil look at the ring announcer. Before sliding in the ring to have some words with JHalc. Jay however had other plans, he hooks the top rope with his arm and flips himself backwards and out of the ring, putting as much space between himself and the fresh David Michaels as he can. The music continues to be played throughout the arena as JHalc and David hold their stares. JHalc backs up the ramp and as he nears the top of the ramp, he mouths the words "I told you so" to David. Just as JHalc reaches the top of the ramp though, his celebration is cut short as his music comes to a stop and the crowd pops for the man in charge.
Lemon: Here comes the boss.
Bull: More importantly here comes JHalc's opponent in just three weeks at Cyberslam.
Lemon: This isn't going to be good for any of the superstars out here.
Razor comes through the curtain without either of his new titles in hand, but instead wearing a black suit, clearly out here on General manager business and not for another superstar attack. He comes side by side with JHalc and the two face off for just a moment before Razor turns his back on him and continues down the ramp. David Michaels vacates the ring before Razor gets halfway down the ramp, not wanting to start a battle with a pissed of World champion before getting in the ring with the Orgasmic Legend later in the night. Razor isn't focused on him either though. Instead he walks up the stairs and is handed a microphone from the tech crew as he steps between the ropes. He walks over to where TK still lays in the middle of the ring, and stops to soak in the crowd reaction for a second. As the fans stop their cheers for their new hero, he starts to speak.
Razor: [holding back laughter] Well... well... well. The Evolution of man, beaten down in the middle of the ring. I almost feel like I have wasted a draft pick on you. What do you guys think?
Responding to his obvious pandering like they always do, the fans pop loudly and start a "TK sucks" chant that makes Razor almost unable to keep as straight of a face as he was keeping.
Razor: That is pretty much what I thought. And TK, in case you can't hear them from all the ringing in your ears, you have a capacity crowd saying that you suck. [pauses for the crowd to pop yet again, but maintains his composure] And because you suck, and because all you do is run your mouth about me backstage... I am going to do the only thing that I can. And that is get my draft pick back.
Bull: I don't know how he is going to go about doing that
Lemon: There is nobody left to draft, what good would a draft pick do him?
Razor: And for all of you people that are out there confused as to what I mean, let me explain it as simple as I possibly can.
Razor gets down on his knees and directly into the face of TK before he says even another word.
Razor: TK... I regret to inform you that you have been traded.... back to Mayhem in huge 6 man trade that will make this roster more powerful than ever. So, as soon as you can manage to pick your lifeless body up out of my ring, you are free to get the hell out of my arena.
Razor's music hits the PA system once again and the fans erupt with not only cheers but a "goodbye" chant to TK that is nowhere near sincere. The feed cuts back to commercial before the "Caleb Spires: This is your life!" segment begins as Razor leaves the ring and heads up the ramp.
The feed comes to life with JHalc walking down the stairs off the backside of the stage, and into the locker room area. As he gets to the bottom of the stairs and grabs a bottle of water off the table to his right, he is approached by none other than XWA's number one pain in the ass, Lamar. Lamar attempts to step in front of JHalc's path to force him into an interview, but JHalc just pushes him out of his way.
Lamar: Is it so hard just to answer a single question? Maybe two?
JHalc turns around, apparently consenting to do the interview, but when he opens his mouth, the hostility in his voice says otherwise.
JHalc: I am sorry Lamar, why don't you go out there and battle a man twice your size for twenty minutes and see how talkative you are! Why the hell can't you ever just leave me alone? What is it that is so important it can't wait?
Lamar: Well you just alienated your partner David Michaels. You beat TK in what could be his last match ever on Vendetta now that Razor has traded him, and you have revived Death Sentence. I was just wondering what are you planning on doing from here on out with all these changes?
JHalc: David Michaels and I had an agreement. We would have each other's backs you know. Form a tag team, call it JNM take over Vendetta. Easy right, but the guy goes and adds the rest of his DxWo buddies to the mix. I am Death Sentence through and through, and I am not throwing that away for nothing. Was that all?
Lamar: Other than TK being traded.... yea. That was all the people wanted to know.
JHalc: I just beat the guy. That is what I get paid to do. I didn't foresee us running into each other any time soon anyways. His getting traded doesn't really effect me at all.
Dante Cross: Is that a fact? Because I was thinking that it has the possibility of effecting you quite a bit.
The camera widens its lens to show that standing in the hallway behind Lamar and JHalc Dante Cross is leaning against a wall bottle of water in hand and smirk on his face.
Dante: I really don't have room for losers in my group. Only space for people who really know how to get the job done no matter what. Before your match, you and TK both said that you didn't need any help to win, but you were the one that came out on top.
JHalc turns and acts mock surprised to see Cross standing behind him. His draw drops and his eyes widen as he points to Dante.
JHalc: Oh my god! Its the ghost of Dante Cross. The man that I put through so many tables that he had to retire from SIW before his career really began. Whatever can I do for you "O Saviour!"
Dante: [smile persevering through the insults] I forgot how much of a jackass you really are to have to talk to. I have an offer for you. One that will even get you away from Lamar for the time being? Want to hear it.
JHalc looks from Cross, back to Lamar who stands innocently holding up his microphone for a response from JHalc. Instead Jay turns away from him...
JHalc: Actually anything that gets me away from this big dumb bastard is a win-win for me. See ya next week Lamar.
JHalc proceeds down the hallway where he is joined at his side by Dante Cross, reminiscent of the scene that he and T.K. shared earlier on in the night. The feed dies, leaving the XWA Universe wondering how it will all play out later tonight and next week on an all new Vendetta. [/quote]

I still have every single one I've ever written. The "E-Fedding" folder in my documents is well over a few gigabites.
There are even unfinished ones I ended up no-showing for and promos I decided not to put up. They'll all be available in the Misadventures of DJS: Two-Disc Special Edition blu-ray boxset coming to you the 12th of Never.
