Ding,Ding,Ding!!!

The triple chime of the ring bell does very little to quell the tension within the squared circle, each competitor tensing up as his eyes darted from one opponent to the next. Sanu slowly takes a step back as the three gladiators began to slowly circle the ring, the trio rotating nearly a quarter turn before the first blow was struck. Suddenly and without warning Maddox took a massive step forward, bringing his right leg up to deliver a powerful kick straight to Hitman Alex’s ribcage; the sheer force of the kick picking poor Hitman up off the canvas by about two inches. Temporarily stunned by the stunning showcase of agility by his monstrosity of an opponent, it took Riley another half-second to get his wits about him and advance upon Maddox; driving a forearm down upon his foe’s enormous back as he did the same to the doubled over Hitman. Maddox takes a step back towards the near corner as Riley drives a second forearm shot down upon his back, Maddox seemingly shrugging off the usually powerful strikes before driving a powerful punch of his own into Williamson’s midsection. Riley staggers back from the force of the attack, giving the monstrous challenger just enough room to connect with a european uppercut that drives the Floridan to the canvas. Keeping his momentum going with ease as he strides out from the corner, Maddox connects with a second european uppercut, this mammoth blow catching a still dazed Hitman Alex and forcing the small challenger back into the ring ropes. Showing off a small smirk to a crowd somewhat shocked by the one-sidedness of the match thus far, The Titan catches Riley by an arm as he rises and pulls Riley toward him, Maddox driving Riley back to the canvas with a short arm clothesline. Such a sentiment seems far easier spoken than accomplished however as Maddox quite simply scoops Mr. Center of Attention upon off the canvas before dropping him back straight back down with a near effortless scoop slam. The strength of the monstrous World Champion continues to reign supreme over that combined of his two opponents as Maddox scoops Riley off the canvas as well, The Titan sending Williamson crashing down on top of Hitman Alex with relative ease. The power behind the attack takes effect though perhaps not upon the man Maddox had intended, The Titan dropping down for the cover on Hitman Alex. In truth, the slam had caused The Hitman much more pain than The Floridan; Riley rolling back to his feet quickly as Ryn Sanu drops to make the count.

1..

The first simple number is all Sanu manages to count as Riley breaks up the pinning predicament with a sound, sturdy kick to the head of The Titan. The simple yet powerful kick seems to rattle the brains of the larger challenger slightly, for even though Maddox quickly returns to his feet, his first step seems uncertain as Williamson closes in for an offensive of his own. Stepping in as his right hand surges forward in a blur of movement, Riley connects with a sinister slap across the face of Maddox. Riley losing little to no force behind his attack even as he is forced to aim high at his taller opponent’s jaw.

Ted: Good Grief! Did you hear the Impact of that Shot?!

Joey:

Whatever it was, it sent the Champion’s Head Rattling.

Maddox staggers back into the ring ropes, his mind dazed from the resulting head trauma of two powerful consecutive strikes to his cranium; the obvious display that Maddox’s brain as not nearly as powerful as his massive body of muscle. Riley looks to play to such a weakness as he pulls Maddox’ massive frame from the ropes and, in an impressive display of strength, manages to hoist nearly one and a half times his own body weight up off the canvas a few inches before dropping The Titan down onto his waiting knee with an inverted atomic drop. The “indirect” low blow doesn’t warrant a disqualification from Ryn Sanu, though the referee doesn’t seem pleased by such an indecent maneuver, Sanu opinion less than trivial as Williamson attains the results he’d hoped for. Maddox’ hands drop to clutch at his slightly tender groin, the inverted atomic drop only delivering a fraction of the pain a straight low blow would cause to any male’s “lower abdominal region”, as Riley charges to the far set of ring ropes. The XWA World Champion’s delicate position leaves him unable to unleash any form of offensive, or counter-offensive, as Williamson repels off the ropes and returns back to Maddox; The XWA Hardcore Champion leaping before planting both of his boots into the larger man’s chest. The power behind Riley’s running dropkick isn’t enough to send Maddox to the canvas but the larger Champion staggers back into the near corner, left dazed as Riley finally turns his attention to Hitman Alex. The Floridan’s meager frame continues to feel the results of his monstrosity of an opponent’s earlier strength inducing pain-fest, Alex crawling along the ropes as Williamson gets infront of Alex and pulls him up to his feet. Turning his back upon Alex as he locks The Bronx Native head on his shoulder with both arms, Riley takes a single step forward and drops to a knee, Mr. Center of Attention forced over Williamson’s shoulder and to a seated position center ring following the snapmare. Falling back a pace as he returns to his vertical base, Riley lines up Alex perfectly before stepping forward and, in that single step, driving a powerful kick toe first into Hitman’s spinal column. Alex cries out as Williamson’s kick lands home against the pivotal bone stretching from top to bottom of his back, Alex rolling onto his side as he arches his back inward and compresses his shoulder blades. Riley keeps quickly on the assault however, knowing full well how deeply the odds didn’t favor him in such a match, as he took hold of Alex’s head and helped bring Alex back to his feet once more. But now was Hitman’s turn to finally turn things in his favor, Mr. Center of Attention in the contest driving his arms upward and shattering Williamson’s grip, Alex attempting to imitate the XWA Hardcore Champion as he connects with a weak, hesitant slap across Williamson’s face. The slap is enough however, to grant the former world champion the second that he needs to grip Riley’s arm and send him across the ring with an irish whip. Williamson comes charging back at Alex and aims to stop his momentum before it can even begin, aiming for a clothesline to which The Bronx Native ducks underneath, as Riley turns Alex drives a forearm into his jaw, pushing him up against the ropes and proceeding to whip him across the ring. Riley rebounds under the ropes as Hitman charges forwards, looking to take Riley out of the game earlier with a Clothesline. Riley leapfrogs over it but his momentum means he is unable to stop as he is hit with a big clothesline from Maddox Paine that drops the Floridan back first to the mat. Maddox hooks his hands around Riley’s head and pulls him up onto his feet, Hitman Alex coming over and joining in the double team. Alex grabs on arm while Maddox grabs the other, both men whipping Riley full force towards the turnbuckle. This turns out to be a perfect moment for Riley’s athleticism to shine through as he leaps up, planting one foot onto the middle turnbuckle, pushing himself up onto the top turnbuckle and flipping backwards overhead of the charging Maddox Paine. Riley lands, turns and ducks under a clothesline by Hitman Alex. As Alex turns Riley grabs him by the arm, flips around and whips The Highlight straight into Maddox Paine, Alex’s momentum sending him shoulder barging into Maddox with such force that The Titan is sent out of the ring through the ropes. Alex staggers backwards straight into a rollup from Riley Williamson.

2…

Kickout by Alex.

Ted:

What a Surprising Rollup by Riley! He just almost had the World Championship won there, and it wasn’t even the World Champion being Pinned!

Joey:

Maddox needs to get his self back into the game if he wants to Retain his Championship here Tonight. He doesn’t want to lose it to this goofball.

The surprise of the rollup is enough to keep Hitman Alex down for the two count but there’s little danger of the match actually being done at this point, The Highlight lifting his shoulders and forcing his way out of the rollup with relative ease. Riley rolls away and both men scramble to their feet at roughly the same moment, but it is Riley that strikes first, driving his boot into the gut of Hitman Alex and pulling him hair first over to the turnbuckle. Riley lifts the head and proceeds to drive it down into the turnbuckle before spinning Alex around and pushing him back first into the corner. Using the top rope for balance Riley begins driving his boot into the mid-section of Alex repeatedly, showing off that aggressive nature that has made him such a successful Hardcore Champion here in the XWA. After one particularly vicious boot Alex drops down, now sitting propped against the turnbuckle. Riley then quickly drops down and rolls out of the ring and lifts up the Ringskirt as he looks for a Weapon to use in this No-Disqualification Triple Threat Match. He takes out a Kendo Stick and enters the ring. Riley Williamson picks up the kendo stick and starts twirling it around in his hand, showing off like he likes to do. He does this a little too long, not noticing Maddox Paine quietly sliding back into the ring. Maddox manages to catch Riley off guard, hooking an arm around his head from behind and pulling him down into a reverse facelock. However Maddox hasn’t betted on Riley’s skull at using that kendo stick as Riley brings it up with perfect aim despite his unusual position. The kendo stick strikes Maddox right between the eyes, the sudden strike forcing him to release the hold as his hand comes up to his face. Riley quickly swings the kendo stick again, this time across the spine of Maddox Paine, dropping The God Amongst Men down onto his knees. Before Riley can get in a third strike he is caught from behind by Hitman Alex who drops low and hits a dropkick straight into the back of the leg. Riley drops backwards from the sudden blow, the kendo stick going flying out of his hand in the process. Before Riley can even grab the knee from the sudden blow Hitman Alex is driving his boot down into it. He hooks an arm around it clearly looking to wear it down but he gets in a little too close, Riley sending his other boot right into the jaw, breaking his grip and sending him stumbling away. Riley quickly reaches his feet, throwing a right hand at Alex only for the blow to be blocked by The Highlight and returned in kind. Quickly Alex throws right hand after right hand, backing Riley up into the turnbuckle before whipping him across the ring. Alex charges after Riley and as The Floridan hits the turnbuckle back first the force sends him stumbling forwards. Alex goes for a clothesline but Riley ducks under it, sprints forwards and leaps up, catching a just rising Maddox Paine clean in the jaw with the Busaiku Knee Kick. Riley quickly rises to his feet once again but it isn’t quick enough, Alex delivering a boot to the gut, pulling him into a front facelock and then dropping back with a big DDT. Alex hooks the leg…

2..

Kickout by Riley.

Ryn Sanu hand hits the mat for two but Riley lifts a shoulder, kicking out without any real danger of losing this match. Alex doesn’t look too surprised, he’s fought Riley Williamson before and he knows exactly how much punishment the man can take. What he doesn’t know, and what he needs to know, is how much punishment it is going to take to keep him down. Alex rises and, with both Riley Williamson and Maddox Paine down for the time being, quickly slides out of the ring and pulls up the ring apron, The Bronx Native looking to bring the Hardcore aspect of this triple threat match into play early on here. He digs about beneath the ring for a few seconds before pulling out a trashcan and throwing it into the ring, the trashcan slamming against the apron eerily close to Maddox’s skull. With the trashcan inside Alex keeps hold of the aforementioned items lid and slides back into the ring. He crouches down, almost as if he is stalking his prey, and waits to see which man is going to get to his feet first. It’s Riley, The Hardcore Champion starting to rise after just a few moments. Riley manages to reach his feet and turns straight into a vicious swing of the trashcan lid, the weapon bouncing off of his skull and dropping him back first onto the mat. Hitman Alex takes a look at the trashcan lid which now has an indentation of Riley’s skull in it. He throws it to the mat and then moves over to the trashcan lid, picking it up and carrying it over to the turnbuckle. He proceeds to jam the trashcan lid between the top and middle turnbuckle so that the opening is facing the ring and then walks over to Maddox Paine, lifting The God Amongst Men up onto his feet. Maddox is looking pretty out of it after that Busaiku Knee Kick nearly took his head off and doesn’t fight back as Alex pushes him back, grips an arm and then proceeds to whip him straight in the direction of the trashcan. Maddox seems to wake up mid-flow and manages to skid to a stop just in front of the trashcan but turns to find Alex coming at him, looking to deliver a Spear. Just like earlier he comes up short as Maddox Paine manages to duck away from him, Alex’s momentum sending him careening head first into the trashcan!

Ted:

My god, Hitman Alex just put himself inside that Trashcan with a Spear!

Joey:

That’s not only going to hurt, it’s going to feel pretty embarrassing when Alex figures out what day it is.

With Hitman Alex literally doubled over inside the trashcan Maddox Paine runs for the ropes nearest Alex, leaping up onto the second one and using them to propel himself up onto the top rope, where he lands with both feet and then leaps off, driving his weight down on the edge of the trashcan with a vicious legdrop that caves the trashcan in. Alex drops onto the mat completely out of it, the dented trashcan falling off of his head on his way down, while Maddox hits the mat and clutches his leg in pain. He takes a few moments to shake the pain off and dives for the cover, hooking Alex’s leg..

2..

Kickout by Alex.

But Riley Williamson does indeed make sure that he is involved in the fall, leaping across, grabbing Maddox by the head and yanking him up and off of Alex before Mr. COA has a chance to either kickout or lose the match. An immediate attack follows as Riley drags a stunned Maddox away and drives his knee up into the gut before erupting with a huge European uppercut that drops The God Amongst Men down onto his back. Riley drops down onto his knees beside Maddox and pushes him onto his side. Riley clinches Maddox’s arm with his own and then wraps his free arm around the leg before planting both knees into the back of The Titan Then, in one quick fluid motion Riley falls backwards, lifts Maddox up by his arm and leg and elevates his knees so that they’re still firmly pressed against the spine. From there all it takes is to pull back on the limbs, stretching Riley’s spine out over Riley’s knees, to finish off the suspended surfboard stretch. Paine lets out a few roars of pain but Maddox isn’t even considering quitting at this point in the match. Riley attempts to change his mind by pulling back further on the gripped arm and leg, adding further pressure to the spine which is contorting around the knees. Still, Maddox keeps fighting, keeps holding on. He knows he isn’t going to be able to reach the ropes on this one, he has no leverage to pull himself across the ring, so a straight up escape is the only possibility. He attempts to pull his body one way, then pushes the other, swaying on the knees in an attempt to either loosen the hold or just completely throw Riley off balance. It doesn’t work however, Riley knowing all too well how to counter every submission move that he employs, The Hardcore Champion quickly altering the move by leaning back further and pushing Maddox up higher on the knees. Paine lets out another roar of pain and it looks like he might just be nearing his breaking point when Hitman Alex comes to the rescue, coming out of nowhere with a legdrop onto Riley’s head that forces him to release the submission. As Maddox Paine rolls away from the action, clutching his back in pain from the suspended surfboard stretch, Hitman Alex looks to finally do some damage to the dominant Hardcore Champion. With Riley stunned from the leg drop Alex drives a few boots into the side for good measure, sending Riley rolling onto his chest in an attempt to protect his abdomen, before grabbing the kendo stick that has played a part in this match since the last few minutes. There’s no fancy theatrics from The Bronx Native, no stalling or pandering to the crowd, Alex simply lifts it up and with a swiftness that echoes throughout the air itself brings it down across the back of Riley. The sound of the kendo stick meeting Riley’s skin is sickening, a swift snapping sound that leaves even the referee cringing. Hitman Alex isn’t done, lifting the kendo stick up and bringing it straight down across the back a second time almost in exactly the same spot. Riley attempts to crawl away, to avoid any further punishment from the weapon, but it’s not quick enough. Hitman Alex lifts and strikes, lifts and strikes, lifts and strikes. Over and over again the kendo stick comes down across the back, leaving deep red welts across the skin, before Riley manages to roll out of the ring under the bottom ropes, screaming in pain as his back burns.

Ted:

Hitman Alex, looking more determined than ever here Tonight in this Triple Threat Match.

Joey:

Hitman Alex is looking to prove the whole entire world that the World Title should have never left his waist.

Hitman Alex considers following Riley Williamson out of the ring but instead he turns his attention over to the third man in this match, Maddox Paine. During the kendo stick assault Maddox had been using the time to catch his breath and alleviate as much pain from his spine as possible, but he now rises to his feet and turns straight into a kendo stick shot, Hitman Alex bringing the weapon across the rib cage of The God Amongst Men. Maddox doubles over as Hitman Alex positions himself beside him, wraps the kendo stick around his throat and arm, pulls Maddox up and then drops him straight down onto his back, The Bronx Native hooking the leg for the cover after the White Russian Leg Sweep.

2..

Kickout by Maddox.

Hitman Alex manages a two count before Maddox pushes the shoulder up, breaking the fall and keeping this match going. Alex rises to his knees, looking frustrated but more noticeably looking groggy following that trashcan spot earlier in the match. Still he has to push on before Riley, who is still attempting to recover from the kendo stick barrage, can get back involved in this match. Alex hooks his arms around the heard of Maddox and pulls him up onto his feet. Pushing him back into the nearest corner, Alex doubles over, grabs the middle ropes on either side of Maddox and proceeds to drive his shoulder straight into Maddox’s mid-section. A second shoulder barge follows, the force almost compacting Maddox between the turnbuckles as Alex chooses to back away. He takes a quick glance over towards Riley to make sure that he’s still down and then grips the arm of Maddox, going for the Irish whip. Maddox counters mid-flow, switching their positions and sending Alex towards the turnbuckle. Just as he’s about to go chest first into the padding Alex leaps up, pushes off of the top turnbuckle and pushes himself over the top rope, managing to land safely on the ring apron. Maddox Paine isn’t going to take that though and he charges forwards, leaps up onto the middle turnbuckle and then leaps backwards, spinning in mid-air and getting enough height to clear the ropes. As he’s flying over the ropes he grabs the standing Alex with a front facelock and uses his momentum to pull him down with a vicious DDT onto the ring apron, Maddox himself crashing onto the outside. All three men are now down outside the ring. Riley is holding onto the ring apron, using the opportunity to catch his breath. Alex is down on his chest on the ring apron while Maddox sits up, getting over the impact of his own kamikaze offence. Maddox pulls himself up onto his feet and then takes the opportunity to go under the ring, pulling the ring apron up and digging about. He pulls out a wooden table and proceeds to set it up outside of the ring just in front of the announcer’s desk. With the table firmly in place Maddox grabs Alex by the head and pulls himself up onto the ring apron, hauling Alex up onto his feet with him. He pulls Alex into a front facelock and hooks the arm as the crowd roar, it quickly becoming apparent that Maddox intends to suplex Alex through that table. Before he gets the opportunity though Riley re-enters the fray, grabbing Maddox by the leg and pulling the surprised Titan off of the ring apron down to the floor while Alex tumbles down onto the floor with completely no idea how close he just came to being put through the table. Maddox quickly turns to face Riley but Williamson ducks down low, hooks an arm around the inside leg and lifts The God Amongst Men up, dropping him face first onto the edge of the table.

Ted:

Maddox may have lost a Tooth after that downfall.

Joey:

Good. He looks better without Teeth anyway.  Maybe the Women behind our backs will stop pondering and cheering after him. after they see the damage the side of the Table has done to his Mouth.

Maddox hits the ground following the collision with the table and writhes in pain, his hand coming up to his mouth as he spits out blood. Riley, his own war scars visible on his back from the kendo stick earlier in the match, drives his boot into the gut of Maddox Paine to not only make sure that he stays down, but at the same time as therapy for his failure to control this match. He grabs Maddox and hauls him up onto his face, ignoring the blood that drips from The Toughest of the Tough’s mouth, and drags him over towards the steel steps. With a viciousness that has become well known here in the XWA Riley lifts Maddox’s head up and slams it down onto the steel steps with such force that Maddox’s head snaps back and he drops to the floor, holding his head in pain. Riley then turns his attention to Hitman Alex, who is still feeling the effects of that DDT on the ring apron. He grabs Alex by the hand and unceremoniously pulls him up onto his feet, dragging him over towards the ring apron. Riley keeps hold of Alex as he climbs up onto the ring apron and then switches his grip over to Alex’s right arm. Holding onto the wrist Riley pulls Hitman Alex up by the arm, a simple task with Alex’s light frame, so that he is dangling off of the ring apron. The Hardcore Champion then places Hitman Alex’s wrist on the bottom rope and places a boot on it, keeping it in place while he pulls down the middle rope and proceeds to bind the two together around the arm of The Bronx Native. Alex is now hanging from the ropes by his wrist! Alex finally comes to at this point as Riley grabs hold of the top rope and proceeds to stand on Alex’s wrist as it remains strung up in the ropes. As Alex screams out in pain, Hitman’s attempts to struggle from but with Riley standing on his wrist it isn’t exactly an easy task. Riley eventually steps off onto the ring apron but keeps hold of the top rope as he starts to deliver boots to the strung up arm, Hitman having no way to fight back. He attempts to pull his legs up onto the ring apron but Riley pushes them away with ease. Then the crowd cheers and Riley knows it is for him. But has a strange feeling that those cheers may not be for him. He turns around to find Maddox on the ring apron with him and suddenly gets struck straight in the jaw with a Superkick! Riley drops into the ring ropes but Maddox quickly pulls Riley off of them and throws him off of the Apron with such force that he goes flying over the Table and onto the outside. Maddox now walks along the Apron, drops down and with Riley now doubled over, Maddox whom is hovering infront of him, grabs and tucks Riley's head inbetween his legs, wraps his arm around Riley’s waist and pulls him up. With The Hardcore Champion’s body just dangling as Maddox moves closer to the Table and launches himself backwards, releasing Riley in mid-air and sending him crashing through the table with a huge Titan-Bomb! (Powerbomb)

Ted: Maddox Paine just sent Riley crashing down onto that Table, and I think Riley may be out of it.

Joey:

That was beautiful, and I would think so.

The Titan-Bomb folds Riley up like an accordion, Riley’s body contorted over itself amidst the shattered wood of the table that just moments ago would have been perfectly usable. Once again Maddox Paine is down on the floor after almost using all his force that he put behind The Titan Bomb. Meanwhile at the apron Ryn Sanu manages to pull the ring ropes apart, releasing Hitman Alex from their grip. Alex drops to his feet but doesn’t go on the attack as the screaming pain in his wrist is too much to just fight through. He attempts to massage the pain out but in an environment like this he can do little but push it out of his mind as best as he can if he wants to capitalise on the situation in front of him. He walks over to Maddox Paine and pulls the groggy XWA World Champion up onto his feet, noticeably only using one hand, before managing to lift him up and roll him into the ring. Alex slides in afterwards, again grabbing Maddox with his left hand and hauling him up onto his feet. Before The Toughest of the Tough really knows what’s happening he is struck with a boot to the mid-section before Alex pulls him into a front facelock, with his arm already wrapped around on Maddox’s neck, he then turns his back against Maddox and then drops Maddox to the mat with an Inverted Headlock Backbreaker Alex quickly hooks the leg.

1..

2…

TH...NO!

Ryn Sanu hand comes up to count the three but The World Champion finds the strength to shoot a shoulder up and break the count, keeping this match going. Alex definitely looks stressed at this point, his hope that he had just won the World Championship dashed by Maddox’s willpower and refusal to quit. He has to grip his wrist again as the numbing pain continues to run through it. He looks over to the turnbuckle and seems set on a course of action, grabbing Maddox by the arm and dragging him over towards the turnbuckle, leaving him lying a little bit in front of it. With a look outside at Riley Williamson, who remains lying motionless amongst the vestiges of the shattered table. Knowing that Riley isn’t about to come in and ruin it all Hitman Alex exits through the ropes and begins climbing the turnbuckle all the way up to the very top. Alex perches on the top turnbuckle, having to work hard to keep his balance, before propelling himself off of the turnbuckle and through the air with The Falcon Splash. As he comes down he’s too late to see it, Maddox Paine raising his knees up just in time for Alex to come crashing down on top of them ribs first. Alex rolls away onto his back as he clutches his ribs, Maddox scrambling across and hooking the leg for a desperate pin attempt.

1.

2..

Kickout by Alex.

The shock of the knees may be enough to keep Alex down for the count of two but it doesn’t get the full job done as Hitman manages to kick out. Maddox doesn’t look too surprised, in fact he looks too groggy to be surprised after taking that drop onto his head and then the Inverted Headlock Backbreaker in the past few moments. Maddox sits, having to push himself up onto his feet while Alex clutches at his ribs, the damage done to the three men involved in this match already showing and with no signs of this one being over any time soon it looks like there’s plenty more to come. Maddox grabs Alex by the arm, pulling Mr. Reasonable Doubt onto his feet. He hooks an arm around the neck of Alex, a position that everybody knows as the setup for Alex’s Finisher, the Snake-bite, but before he can go for the slam Alex slams an elbow into the side of Maddox’s head. It’s a desperate, last second blow but it’s enough to rock Maddox, and a second elbow to the head breaks the grip.

Ted:

Looks like Maddox was trying to put Alex away with his very own Finisher.

Joey: Maddox Paine is a Move Thief, Why is he trying to steal his opponent's own Finishing Moves!?!?

Maddox staggers away from Alex as Mr. Reasonable Doubt clutches his ribs. He turns and suddenly Maddox lashes out of nowhere with a Big Boot. As the boot comes flying towards his skull Alex reacts on instinct, bringing his hands up and grabbing the boot in mid-flow. Hitman looks almost as shocked as Maddox when he catches the kick, but quickly capitalises, pulling Maddox in and leaping up, wrapping his arm around the Neck of The Hardcore and BloodThirsty and pulling him up before slamming him back first onto the canvas, Alex connecting with the SnakeBite! (Rockbottom) Maddox drops onto his back but Alex doesn’t go for the cover immediately, his wrist bursting in pain, jammed from where he caught the BigBoot. Still he pushes the pain out of his mind and goes for the cover.

1..

2…

THR...NO!

Ryn Sanu counts two and raises his hand for the third and final count, but somehow Maddox Paine finds the power to lift a shoulder off of the mat and kick out of the pinfall. Alex is clearly frustrated as he rolls onto his back in the ring, clutching his ribs as they continue to cause him grief, Meanwhile Amidst the shards of wood that was once a table Riley Williamson is moving, having grabbed hold of the announce desk in an attempt to pull himself up onto his feet. Alex who is sitting up looks through the Ropes and onto the outside as he see’s Riley now slowly pushing himself onto his feet. Hitman’s eyes just coiling, as he rolls out of the ring and underneath the bottom rope as Riley turns around finds himself blasted in the face with a right hand from Alex, who has exited the ring unnoticed during the confrontation. The strike is so strong that Alex has to recoil in pain as his injured wrist takes just as punch pain as Riley’s jaw, but Alex is a man who will fight through the pain, grabbing hold of Riley by the back of the head, charging at the steel steps and sending Williamson crashing into them back first.  Riley arches his back in pain following the collision with the steel steps, looking much worse than what a simple punch would bring. Alex glances back into the ring to see that Maddox Paine is still down on his back recovering from the SnakeBite, giving him plenty of time to doll out some punishment to the current Hardcore Champion. Alex grabs Riley by the hair with his good hand and slowly pulls him up onto his feet, not a simple job when you’re trying to lift 210lbs of dead weight. He manages it though and proceeds to drive his left hand into the jaw of Riley with a vicious uppercut that sends Williamson staggering backwards, almost tripping over the lower level of the steel steps in the process. Alex almost skips after him and grabs Riley by the back of the head, dragging him towards the security barricades and dozens of screaming fans who don’t know whether to be excited or terrified to be this close to the action. Right now Williamson is the man taking the most punishment as Alex drags him over to the security barricade and pushes him back first into it, propping him up against the barricade and driving a knee up into the mid-section. Alex backs away from Riley, sizing him up, and then charges forwards looking to clothesline him straight over the security barricade when out of nowhere Williamson manages to duck down. Alex’s momentum carries him through though and Riley lifts his shoulder, catching the body of Alex and sending him straight over the security barricade back first, The Highlight crashing down into the fans in the front row! It’s chaos amidst the front row of the crowd as Hitman Alex crashes into them, taking out a large portion of the front two rows as Alex lands not only on them but clips his head on the backend of a chair in the process. Williamson drops to his knees, the toss having been done entirely on instinct. Crowd security rush in in an attempt to survey the damage of Alex out of the crowd, something which isn’t an easy task as crowd members attempt to free themselves from beneath The Highlight at the same time. Riley grabs the top of the security barricade and uses it to pull himself up. He glances out at Hitman Alex in the crowd, then in at Maddox Paine inside the ring, The Toughest of the Tough slowly rising to his feet having had plenty of time to recover during the past few minutes. It’s time to make a choice and Riley does it quickly, heading into the ring and sliding in under the bottom rope. He rises to his feet slowly as he positions himself behind Maddox. The Titan reaches his feet and Riley grabs him, lifts him up onto his shoulders spins him around and…

Ted: Riley looking to put Maddox Paine away with the Torrential Drop!

Out of nowhere Paine leaps off of Williamson’s Shoulders, turns him round, puts his hands behind Riley’s head and drops down with a Knee out as Riley’s face connects with it, hitting a Knee Facebuster. Maddox goes for the cover.

Ted:

Maddox Paine, may Retain his Championship here! It’s over!

Joey:

Come on Alex, get up!

1..

2…

THR….NO!

Ryn Sanu counts two with no signs of any fight left in Riley Williamson but as his hand starts to lower for the three somehow Riley finds the energy left to lift a shoulder off of the mat. It isn’t much and it might just be out of instinct but it’s enough to break up this pinfall and keep this match going. Maddox rolls off of Riley, his head in his hands, he was sure that the sudden attack had done it for him and based on the intake of breath by the crowd they did too. Still, he understands all too well that he can’t let up and he pushes himself up onto his feet. He grabs Riley around the head and slowly pulls the former New Yorker up onto his feet. Outside the ring Hitman Alex has finally freed himself from the fans and is climbing over the security barricade, while the fans in question are having a very angry conversation with the arena security. As Maddox gets an unsteady and quite out of it Riley onto his feet he kicks him in the stomach which causes Riley to double over. Maddox then looks at the Crowd and grins, a move that everybody already has seen knows in this arena as the Titan-bomb. He takes a second before lifting Riley up onto his Shoulders which may have been his undoing here as Riley starts to deliver some shots towards the Skull of Paine. After a few stiff shots, Maddox falls down onto the Mat while Riley staggers forwards into the ropes but out of nowhere Hitman Alex appears on the apron, grabbing hold of the top rope and using it to pull himself up and deliver a bicycle kick straight into the skull of Williamson. As Riley staggers backwards Alex pulls himself up onto the top rope before running towards the turnbuckle, quickly climbing up on them, now reaching the top Riley turns and Alex springboarding off, and connecting with a Crossbody to take Riley down to the mat. With Riley down The Anti-Hero quickly grabs hold of the kneeling and in pain Maddox Paine, pulling him up onto his feet and whipping him into the corner, the Titan hitting the turnbuckle back first. Alex wastes no time in charging forwards and leaping up, hitting Maddox with a clothesline in the corner. Paine staggers out where Alex grabs him around the head and follows up with a running bulldog, sending Paine down to the mat. With both Riley and Maddox down Alex slides out under the bottom rope, still showing signs of that injured risk by relying heavily on his left hand. He pulls up the ring apron and pulls out a table, the second to feature in this match, before pushing it into the ring under the bottom rope. With the table in the ring Alex heads over the announcers area, demanding that the time keeper moves before grabbing his chair, folding the steel chair up and sliding back into the ring with it.  As Hitman Alex pushes himself up onto his feet he sees a kneeling Riley Williamson attempting to do the same. Instead of waiting for him to get up Alex goes straight in for the attack, lifting the chair above his head and then bringing it cracking down across the spine of Williamson. Riley quickly drops down, clutching his back, his face contorting in pain. With Riley down The Anti-Hero turns his attention to Maddox, turning the chair sideways and slamming the ridge down upon the mid-section of Maddox Paine. Paine attempts to roll out of the ring to escape and he manages it, but not before Alex sends the chair down upon his back for a second time. Alex drops the chair for the time being, turning his attention to the table. He picks the table up but instead of unfolding it he props it up horizontally against the nearest turnbuckle.

Ted:

And just when you thought this match couldn’t get anymore Hardcore..

Joey:

Yes! Put Riley through another one!

With the table resting in the corner Alex goes back over to Riley, bending down and gripping him around the neck. He goes to lift Williamson onto his feet but Riley throws a few desperate right hands to the ribs in an attempt to fight back. They’re not strong, they’re desperate and sloppy and against any healthy competitor they wouldn’t do a damn thing, but Alex’s ribs have already taken damage in this match and a few shots is all that it takes for Williamson to break his grip. Alex backs away, Riley scrambling his way up onto his feet as fast as he can, although at this point in the match it’s not so much fast as geriatric. He makes it though and as Alex looks up from the right hands Riley drives a boot into the mid-section before driving an elbow into the side of the skull. A second elbow follows, then a third before Riley turns on the spot and uses the momentum to drive his elbow straight into the jaw of Hitman Alex, completing the Elbow Shot and dropping Mr. COA to the mat. With Hitman Alex down on the mat and Maddox Paine attempting to recover on the outside Riley drops into the ring ropes, leaning against them and clutching his spine, still reeling from that steel chair shot just moments ago. He drops down onto his knees, barely able to stand, before dropping to his back and rolling out of the ring. He struggles to catch his breath but needs to capitalise on this opportunity and heads under the ring, pulling up the ring apron and looking around for something in particular. On the opposite side of the ring Maddox Paine is now kneeling, himself a victim of a number of vicious chair shots just a few moments ago. Not knowing already that there is already a non-used Steel Chair in the ring, Riley finds what he wants underneath the ring and pulls it out. It being another Steel Chair

Ted:

Riley using the Rules to his Advantage, I wonder what he has in mind with that Steel Chair…

Joey:

Someone gotta tell Riley that this is for the XWA World Championship and not for the XWA Hardcore Championship. Goddamnit, Alex don’t get up! Move away!

Riley Williamson keeps hold of the Chair and pulls himself back into the ring, a task that seems far too difficult for him. He drops the Chair in the corner of the ring and drives a boot into the ribs of Hitman Alex to make sure that Mr. COA stays down while he does what he has to do. He heads over the corner with the table propped and proceeds to lift it up. Like Alex he doesn’t unfold the table, instead choosing to place it on top of the turnbuckle, precariously balancing it diagonally across the top ropes almost like a balancing beam. He checks that it’s balanced properly, knowing that one misstep could completely derail his plan. Next he walks back over to Hitman Alex, grabbing him with one hand on the back of his head and the other beneath his arm and hauling him up onto his feet. Alex, still groggy from the Elbow Shot, attempts to fight back, driving a fist into the mid-section of Riley only for The Floridan to drive a knee up into the injured mid-section of Alex. The Hitman moans in pain following the knee as Riley grabs him by the back of the head and charges at the table propped up on the top ropes, driving Alex head first onto the ridge of the wooden table. Hitman hits it hard, the blow opening up a small cut across the forehead, and falls backwards, Riley grabbing him by the arm and stopping him from hitting the mat. He had enough trouble lifting Alex up once that he really doesn’t want to do it a second time. With Alex groggy Riley ducks down, hooking an arm around the inside leg and lifting Alex up onto his shoulders. From there it’s a fairly simple task to lift Alex up onto the table that sits precariously across those ropes. With Alex lying on the table Riley grabs him by the hair with his left hand and then drives his right hand straight into the forehead of The Hitman, a little security to keep him down. While Maddox quickly slides into the ring his eyes stay locked onto Riley’s back as he extends his long arms, grabbing onto the top rope and pulls himself up and lies on the corner waiting for his Challenger to turn, Now sure that Alex isn’t going anywhere Riley turns and Maddox charges towards him, looking to hit his other Finisher, The Charging Spear but Riley leaps up into the air doing a somewhat like split causing the move to be reversed….Onto Alex! Maddox Spears Alex through the Table as it breaks in half! The Crowd “Ohh’s” While Riley whom is now Spagehtti legged, his own power not holding him up as he falls against the Ropes trying to catch his own breath looks up for a few seconds before looking at the Collision that just happened between Maddox Paine and Hitman Alex. Walking towards them and still holding onto the Top Rope, Riley makes it near the corner and drops down and grabs onto Maddox’s leg, pulling the Deadweight that is The Titan off of Alex who is sitting against the corner, the Wreckage that once was a Wooden Table behind him. Riley rolls Paine over onto his back and goes for a Cover. Hooking the leg.

THR….NO!

Despite the pain shooting up and down his spine, despite the punishment that he taken since the very opening moments of this match, Maddox Paine fights on, somehow shooting a shoulder up off the mat just mere milliseconds before Ryn Sanu can count three. As Ryn Sanu signals that it was just a two count Riley Williamson is absolutely furious and certainly upset, shouting at Sanu that it should have been three. Sanu isn’t taking it however, his word is final. Riley, deciding against wasting time arguing with the official, slowly rises onto his feet. He, like Maddox and Hitman Alex, is feeling the effects of this match. He grabs Maddox by the arm and pulls him closer towards the turnbuckle, letting him go just a few inches ahead of it. Riley exits through the ropes onto the apron and begins climbing up the turnbuckle. He reaches the very top and balances himself, struggling to keep two feet on the top turnbuckle as he slowly rises onto his feet, standing high above the ring and more importantly high above Maddox Paine. Riley Williamson stands there for a moment and inhales deeply, knowing that connecting with this could be all he needs to become the new XWA World Champion. Then he leaps, with his arm out right infront of him in a L like Shape, comes down back first, Elbow first, onto… nothing. Paine somehow finds the willpower to roll himself onto his back out of the way, Williamson having no time to alter his course as he slams Elbow first onto the ring apron. He ends up lying on his chest just metres away from Paine who, despite managing to avoid The Blading Drop, is not moving off of the mat.  now Outside the ring, Hitman Alex is still lying on his back, awake but whimpering in pain after being driven into the Table from just a few moments ago.

Ted:

Good lord, this match has just seen it all. Alot of Action, will, and determination. These Three men are truly giving it their all. I wouldn’t be surprised to see if one of them gets up and finishes off the match.

Joey:

Come on Alex! Get up!

Ryn Sanu goes from one man to the next. First to Maddox Paine, who shows no signs of getting up any time soon, then to Riley Williamson, who might have actually knocked himself out from the shock impact with the failed Blading Drop, and finally sliding out of the ring to check on Hitman Alex, The Highlight is conscious, immediately giving him one up on his two opponents, but he’s showing no signs of being able to wrestle at this point. Ryn Sanu has no idea what to do. In any other match he’d call it quits, throw it out and get these men the medical attention that they clearly need, but this isn’t an ordinary match. This is anything goes, this is no disqualifications, no count outs, no interference. This is all of these things bust most importantly it is for the XWA World Heavyweight Championship, it is for the gold that these three men have put their bodies on the line for. This deserves more than that and he knows it. This one will go on. As the seconds build up the fans get impatient. They start roaring “this is awesome”, a chant that quickly fills up the entire arena as they will on the three men. At first it doesn’t seem like anything is going to happen, and then Maddox Paine begins to stir. It’s not big, he doesn’t kip-up, he doesn’t rise onto his feet like the second coming of Hardcore Jesus, but he does push himself up onto his knees. He grabs hold of the bottom rope, then the middle, leaning against them. He grips the ropes tightly, fearing that his body may give out if he lets go of them. He pulls himself up onto one knee, grabs hold of the top rope and pulls himself up onto his feet. He’s unsteady, requiring the top rope to stop himself falling for the first few seconds. When he has his footing he staggers across the ring. Holding onto his right arm as it hurts abit Maddox walks over to the ring ropes and sees Alex lying face down onto the outside and then turns his head to see Riley beginning to come together slowly whilst he pulls himself against the corner. Maddox moves back quickly towards the opposite corner and begins to stalk his Prey. The Crowd is at a Mixed Reaction knowing Half of them, pulling for Riley to get Speared and the other half, not pulling for it to happen. Maddox using his free non-Injured arm, moves it up and down taunting Riley to get up and Riley slowly pulling himself together. Alex now on his knees, grabs onto the Ring Skirt and watches on.  Riley with one hand on the middle rope and the other on the top rope he now pulls himself up successfully. Maddox like a raging bull, jumps up from the corner and runs across the ring looking to hit Riley with the move that he managed to avoid earlier, The Spear. However, Alex slides into the ring runs up to Maddox whilst he charges to Riley jumps up and with his leg already on top of Maddox’s head, sends his head crashing down with Dynasty! (Famekisser) Alex doesn’t waste a second, dropping down for the pinfall and weakly hooking the leg.

2…

THRE..

Ryn Sanu’s hand is about to hit the mat when Riley leaps across the ring in an almost superhuman fashion, slamming his entire body into Alex and most importantly, breaking up the pin.

Joey:

FUCK!

Ted:

Riley making the save, this match continues!

Alex and Riley both roll away from each other and from Maddox Paine. While Alex slowly pushes himself up onto his feet, a task that makes a marathon look like child’s play at this point, Riley pulls himself up via the ring ropes, a slow and arduous task. They both reach their feet at the same time, turning and facing each other. Slowly they stagger towards each other, meeting eye to eye, almost forgetting about Maddox Paine in this, the most heated of moments. Then they explode, both men throwing punches. A right hand from Riley, then a right hand from Alex, a right from Riley a right from Alex Riley, Alex, Riley, Alex, both men going back and forth with right hands. It’s the injured wrist that comes into play once again to the detriment of The Bronx Native, hindering the speed that he can throw those right hands as everyone hurts him almost as much as they hurt Alex’s face. But Riley takes advantage, connecting with multiple right hands one after the other, backing Alex up into the ring ropes. It certainly looks that way. Maddox is laid out on his back near the corner following Dynasty, completely oblivious to the desperate back and forth between Riley and Alex. With Alex backed up against the ropes Riley whips him across the ring, Alex rebounding off the ropes and ducking under a Bicycle Kick on the return. Williamson lands unbalanced and is spun around by Alex who delivers a boot to the gut, turns and for the second time in as many minutes goes for The Dynasty again. Somehow Riley finds it in him to counter the move, slinking his head out from Alex’s grasp. Riley quickly capitalises on the situation, hooking both of Alex’s arms with his own in a side-nelson position, looking to hit some type of Move. Before Riley can drop Alex face first Alex drops himself, straight down into a sitting position, the sudden imbalance allowing him to pull Riley overhead with an awkward looking overhead toss. Riley rolls through, scrambling to his feet as best he can, turning straight into Alex who pushes himself onto his feet, hooks Riley’s legs and drops Williamson straight down onto his back. Alex somehow manages to turn Riley over into the Straight Jacket! Riley roars in pain as Alex leans back, contorting the spine of The Floridan. Riley reaches out, tries to grab something, anything, but nothing comes. He’s got nowhere to go and he’s in pain. Alex continues to lean back, adding more pressure on the spine, screaming for Riley to tap out, Williamson holds on, tries to figure a way out of this, tries to think amidst the pain and his own screaming. Ryn Sanu gets in close, asks Riley if he wants to give up, but he refuses. For him there is only one option and that is escape, he’ll fight until he can’t stay conscious anymore, and if that is the way that Alex has to win then so be it. Riley claws at the ring apron, trying to drag himself across the ring. Although he is much smaller than Alex , something that gives him a little less leverage, but even with that it isn’t an easy task. Slowly but surely Riley claws his way towards the ropes, dragging Alex with him as Mr. Center of Attention refuses to relinquish the hold no matter what. Riley crawls, Alex leans back further. Every single moment that he is locked in this hold is another moment of his spine being bent out of shape, another moment closer to Hitman Alex becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. Only Riley isn’t going to let that happen and with one great push he grabs the bottom rope. Except that isn’t it.

Ted:

Riley reaching the bottom rope but it means nothing. This is a No-DQ match, there are no rope breaks when it comes to submissions.

Joey:

I don’t think that’s what Riley has in mind Ted, Look!

Riley doesn’t settle for holding onto the bottom rope. He uses it, along with his impressive strength, to pull himself up slowly until he can make a desperate grab for the middle rope. He makes it, and with the middle ropes in his grasp he pulls himself off of the mat. Suddenly Alex finds himself unbalanced and with Riley’s determination   there’s little to be done other than for Riley to make one final push. Now arched off of the ring Riley flings his legs, makes them ridged, and flips Alex out, Mr. COA flipping over and hitting the ring apron back first. Riley drops to his knees, still gripping the middle rope tightly. His expression tells us exactly how close he was to breaking, just how much pain he is going through. Alex rolls onto his front, summons everything he has left just to make it to his feet, he put all of his energy into the Straight Jacket and now he’s running on empty. He makes it up though, and goes straight back after Riley going to grab him by the hair. Alex, places Riley’s head onto his Shoulders and looks to hit a HKO! But Riley counters, on Instinct alone, puts his hands behind Alex’s back and pushes him forward into a Running Maddox, who was leaning against the ropes, charges forward and hits a Charging Spear! Paine gets up and Riley who is staggering abit stalks Maddox, as Maddox slowly turns around, Riley lifts him up onto his Shoulders, does a 150 degree turn,  Maddox’s body goes flying off of Riley’s Shoulders as he hits The Torrential Drop! (F5) Riley drops down to his knees, The Torrential Drop literally having been an all or nothing moment for him. He crawls over to Paine and, with no energy to do anything else, simply drapes his arms across the body of Paine, whose shoulders are pinned down on the steps, for the pinfall.

Ted:

This is it! Riley is about to become the XWA World Champion!

Joey:

Not like this!

Joey:

No!

Ding, Ding, Ding!!!

Ryn Sanu signals for the bell as Riley Williamson slopes off of Maddox Paine, dropping to the mat. For a moment there’s no sign of  Williamson, there’s just a wrestler who went through hell and came out the other side, a wrestler who can’t believe he managed it. As ”Cult of Personality” hits the speakers as Ryn Sanu helps Riley Williamson up onto his feet, Riley barely able to stand at this point. Williamson falls into the ring ropes, leaning against them as Ryn Sanu exits the ring and is handed the Hardcore Championship, Tag Team Championship, and now The XWA World Heavyweight Championship. Sanu re-enters the ring and proceeds to hand the titles to Riley Williamson, the now Triple Champion looking emotional at this point in the night. Riley collapses into the corner but holds the title up, the crowd going crazy after just seeing a war in the middle of the ring.

I apologize for this. I really thought I'd have time to end it today. I am posting this for the sake of showing up and not because I intend to win. The beginning was solid, however I didn't end this match the way I wanted to. It's a rushed ending and if I have time, I will add more to it...

DING DING DING

All three men are inside the ring, ready to begin this intense main event for The Big Ass American Bash 2014! The world champion, Maddox Paine – with Eric Goodman outside the ring watching, of course. The sly, sneaky, Hitman Alex. The underdog, Riley Williamson. All three men have something to prove here tonight, and all three men look to take the coveted world title. As soon as the bell rings, both Paine and Riley quickly leap towards an unsuspecting Alex, jumping him. Not often done by the “good guys,” but neither of them are exactly big fans of the conniving number one contender. Alex ducks into the corner as Paine grabs the top rope with both hands and begins to stomp him in the gut. At the same time, Riley throws hard right fists, while holding Alex's head with his left hand. After a good few seconds of 'beating,' the guys think Alex has had enough. They both grab him by the back of the head, sprint towards the opposite ropes, and launch him over the top one, sending him flying to the outside. Hitman Alex lands roughly outside the ring as the smart Eric Goodman smirks, enjoying the dominance.

Cedar: “Both men teaming up to take out the least-liked member of this match!”

Miles: “I call that a cheap shot! They call Alex sneaky, but that looked pretty damn sneaky to me. They can't take him one on one so they choose to jump him, fucking pussies.”

The fans in Missouri give a nice, loud pop. Cheering on the actions of the world champ and possibly his most dangerous contender – seeing as he holds one half of the tag team championships as well as the hardcore title. On the other hand, Hitman Alex has had Maddox's number in the past, and could very easily go through the same scenario here tonight. Both of the “good guys” of the match turn their heads towards each other. They may have worked together to take out an equally-disliked opponent, but now that he's out of the way, they have to go through each other. They both give a smirk to each other, showing nothing but confidence. Neither man is willing to let the other top him here tonight. Maddox and Riley faced off in the past – in Paine's debut match months ago – where Riley was handed a loss. But times have changed, and both of these men know it. Quickly, both men center the ring as each one extends a single hand. Maddox extends his right and Riley his left. As soon as their arms make contact, Paine tightens his grip and manages to turn Williamson's hand around in an uncomfortable position, mainly because Paine is right-hnaded and so is Riley, so he had an advantage right off the bat. Riley quickly responds by rushing forward, using his dominant – and free – right arm, and wrapping it around the neck of Paine before shifting his weight over his hip, tossing him completely over with a neat hip toss, before keeping him grounded in a headlock. Almost instantly, Maddox manages to find an opening, as he manages to get Riley low down enough to his body to drape his leg around Williamson's neck for a scissors-lock. Riley panics and does a quick kip-up, not actually landing it, but using the momentum to break up the scissors-lock. Both men quickly get right back up to their feet and face each other eye-to-eye. The fans cheer on this impressive back-and-forth.

Cedar: “Excellent chain wrestling shown by both of these men!”

Miles: “Please. Those were like 2 to 3 moves. They're both probably already tired. I know I am. Of watching this!”

Both men smirk but quickly get right back to work. They quickly inter-lock arms for a classic test of strength. Riley uses his knowledge of the ring as he drops to one knee. He then presses up, stands on that knee, and drops to his other one, using his knees to push Maddox back as they remain in this lock-up. Paine is never usually put in a situation like this, so he is unsure what to do. Riley forces him into the corner as he begins to press back on his face. The referee can't do anything about it, as this is a no DQ match. Williamson then curls his right elbow and bashes it backwards, hitting Maddox square in the face. Riley tries to swing a big left to follow up, but Paine catches him by the throat first. Paine's loyal fans begin to cheer as Maddox is in control. Fearlessly, Riley quickly drops a big forearm across Paine's upper-forearm, forcing him to break the choke. Almost instantly, Williamson wraps his hands around Maddox's neck and flips him forward into the center of the ring with a beautifully-executed snapmare. Paine sits on his ass and Riley quickly wraps his arm around his neck for a seated-headlock. The fans give a quick little pop at this show of one-upping. Riley presses tightly, but Maddox doesn't want to let him keep the hold on for too long. Paine turns his body to the side and begins to work his way up to his feet. As soon as he does, he elbows Riley in the gut, as Williamson refuses to release the headlock. Paine throws another elbow, which softens the hold. He then runs back into the ropes and as soon as they make contact, Maddox shoves Riley forward at full-speed to the other side, using the bounce as leverage. Riley rushes at full speed, and as soon as he bounces back towards the champ, he manages to get the upper hand by driving him straight to the mat with a devastating lariat! The fans once again give a non-partisan pop, showing their full support for this back-and-forth.

Cedar: “Once again, the number one contender gets the upper hand on Maddox Paine!”

Miles: “Yeah, but where the hell is...”

Hitman Alex. As soon as Paine sprints back up to his feet, he gets kicked in the gut from the other side and then dropped to the mat with a hard DDT, courtesy of a recovered Hitman Alex! Alex gets right back up to his feet as Riley is now on the attack. He kicks him in the gut and then shoves him against the corner. He begins to throw wild right hands, smacking him in the face with each one. Alex crouches into the corner as Riley begins to stomp away now. Riley realizes he should try something else so he pulls the vile Hitman Alex out of the corner and quickly tries to whip him to the other turnbuckle. Alex quickly counter-whips him and instead Riley is sent into the corner. Riley kicks the middle turnbuckle, and as soon as his boot makes contact, he stops running and turns around. Alex sprints towards him at full speed, but Riley quickly takes advantage. He grips Alex around the waist with a big hug before tossing him with a side belly-to-belly, right into the turnbuckle! Alex moans as his back hits the corner roughly. Hitman Alex begins to bounce forward slowly, but before Riley can take advantage, someone else does. Maddox Paine springs to life as he charges towards both men. He hits both of them with simultaneous lariats, knocking both men over the top rope and onto the outside! The fans cheer for the world champ's sudden burst of life. Both Riley and Alex land outside the ring pretty roughly. They lay near the bottom of the entrance ramp as they begin to use each other to get back up to their feet. Inside the ring, the World Champ gives a big roar, receiving a massive pop from the crowd. Paine looks at his opponents outside and then at the ropes behind him. The fans begin to get on the edge of their seats as they feel they expect what is coming... Paine quickly sprints to the ropes behind him as he bounces off at full speed. He sprints forward quickly before using his speed to wildly leap, a huge act by the 260 lber, as he flies right over the top rope and takes out both of his opponents with an insane over-the-top-rope no-handed suicide dive, Undertaker-style!

Cedar: “OH MY GOD! This is something we've never seen out of Maddox Paine before, what an insane move! This shows the importance of this match, each man is willing to kill themselves to win this!”

Miles: “Even I have to say... that was pretty fuckin' sweet. Fuck Maddox for making me say that.”

All three men are outside the ring completely out of it. 260 pounds of pure muscle landing on you isn't a neat sight. Riley got a lot more of the impact as Alex managed to only take part of it, and Maddox is completely out of it, so Alex is naturally the first one to start to recover. He leans against the security barricade and begins to get up to his feet. He stands up, trying to ignore the pain of the hit he just took, as he looks at both of his opponents, who are grounded. He decides to pounce on the one he considers more of a threat, the world champ. He grabs Paine by his hair and rakes him up off his feet. He throws him into the steel steps quickly, bashing his head against them. He then grabs him by the back of the head again and walks him towards the security barricade with the fans nearby. He launches him into the black barricade as the fans begin to cheer on the closeness of this action. Alex throws a few hard right hands, bashing him in the skull with each one. He then brings his hand back and swings a huge Ric Flair-like right hand chop right to the chest. If it weren't for his black spandex covering him, Paine's chest would likely be red. On the other side of the outside, Eric Goodman cringes after the slap, and every one that follows it, as Hitman Alex continues to throw some hard right slaps. Hitman Alex grabs Paine's long hair once again and he throws him into the security barricade that is more near the announcers' table. Paine hits it chest-first as he tries to keep his balance by grabbing the top barricade. Suddenly, Williamson decides to come back into this match. He charges towards Alex and runs full speed, trying to knock him out with an unexpected spear. Quickly, almost by instinct, Alex dodges out of the way and shoves Riley right into the steel steps! The steps fly out of the way as Riley is out of it once again, grabbing a hold of his chest, which took most of the impact. Satisfied with his work, Alex returns to the task at hand – Maddox Paine. Although, it may be too late. Hitman Alex sprints towards “The Titan” at full speed, but Maddox has recovered a bit. At least enough for Maddox to give him a big bear hug and fling him overhead, over the barricade, and into the cement floor outside with an insanely nasty overhead belly-to-belly suplex!

Cedar: “OH MY GOD. Alex just took the full impact of that belly to belly to the outside! That cement has got to hurt!”

Miles: “Cowards! Once again, they had to jump the better man to beat him. They should be ashamed!”

On his way down, Hitman Alex flattened a few chairs, which can arguably state that they broke his fall, although it doesnt do Alex any good. He is outside the barricade, within the group of fans, and he is out of it for sure. Maddox grabs the top of the barricade with one giant arm as he tries to balance himself up. He gets back up to his feet as he is once again in full control of this match. Riley Williamson slowly makes his way up to his feet as well, though. Maddox quickly kicks him in the gut, not allowing him to recover too much. He then grabs the back of Riley's head and speed-walks him over to the announcers' table. He throws him at full power into the table face-first, knocking him down for a bit. The World Champ then begins to take the table apart, ripping the cables that hold the top part down as he uncovers it. Fans begin to cheer, never being ones to be against table-spots.

Miles: “Thank god that big fucker is taking apart the Mexican table, and not ours. Sorry amigos, that's what you get for being illegal.”

Cedar: “Paine has something big planned, and I don't think Riley is going to like it.”

Maddox clears the Spanish announcers' table completely as he then turns his attention back towards Riley Williamson. Paine grabs a hold of Riley's head and pulls him back up to his feet in an impressive feat of strength. He throws him on top of the table, setting him up. Maddox confidently follows him up, thinking he is completely out of it. Paine begins to get Riley up as the fans get up to their feet, knowing that something is going to happen here. Riley quickly proves them right, as he kicks Maddox in the sternum quickly, turns his body around, and hits him with a beautiful Stun of Death, sending both men through the table, as it shatters downward horribly! Both men are completely out of it as the fans begin to cheer for this sweet move!

Cedar: “...and this time it's Riley Williamson on the attack! Both men get sent through that table as he just hit one of his finishers! Could it be over right here?!”

Miles: “Hah! Idiot! I hope both of them have broken bones!”

Riley remains seated on his ass amidst the destruction. He moans as he tries to ignore the pain, but it hurts. Although, Maddox is the one that is more hurt in all of this, as he is completely out of it. Riley rolls to the side, trying to get back up. Meanwhile on the outside of the barricade, Hitman Alex is still completely out of it! Riley tries to shake off the immense pain as he works his way up to his feet. He gets up, grabbing the other announcers table for leverage. He then walks over to Maddox and grabs him by the hair, trying to rake him in. He pulls him out of the wreckage as he gets him near the ring. Ri pulls Paine up to his knees as he tries to carry the dead-weight into the ring. He slides him in under the bottom rope slowly, taking his time. Riley then follows him, sliding in as well. He almost crawls towards Maddox as he manages to grab a single leg for a pin!

“1!”

“2!”

-Kickout! He took far too long to pin him, Maddox was able to recover!

Cedar: “He kicks out! I thought it was over there!”

Miles: “Good... I thought we were going to be stuck with Riley as champion.”

Maddox rolls to the side as the fans begin to cheer for the kickout. Riley isn't as happy as they are about it. He didn't think it'd be over there, but he had hope. He gets on two knees as he prepares to get back up. Suddenly, he feels a sharp pain go up and down his spine. A fresh, cold, hard object makes contact with his skin... a steel chair! Hitman Alex sneakily played possum for a bit and now he finds his mark. Riley moans loudly as he tucks his back inwards, trying to get rid of the pain. Alex smirks as he then swings the steel chair once again, bashing it against Riley's back roughly. Williamson moans as he drops forward onto his stomach. Alex begins to wildly swing away with the chair, slapping away at the back of Riley, chair-shot after chair-shot. Hitman pants a bit, as he killed some energy pouncing on him. He drops the chair to the mat and then rolls the Hardcore champ onto his back for a pin.

“1!”

“2!”

-Kickout!

Riley shows why he is not only the Hardcore champion, but one half of the tag team champions as well. He has resilience, and he will not give up. Hitman Alex angrily works his way back up to his feet. He picks the chair back up and focuses his anger on the world champ – his rival of the past few months. He raises the chair above his head and begins to drop bombs on his back, now. Chair-shot one, two, three. Rapidly and powerfully, not letting Paine rest even in the slightest bit. Alex goes wild as he drops the chair repeatedly and continuously, even worse than he did to Riley. The only reason he has to stop is because the chair completely folds up and becomes useless. Hitman Alex drops the chair to the side, before quickly rolling Maddox Paine onto his back now, trying to pin him for a change.

“1!”

“2!”

-Kickout!

Hitman Alex should know better than to really assume that he's going to take out either of these two resilient men with a few chair shots!

Cedar: “Both the world champ and Riley Williamson are showing great heart. They aren't going down without a fight.”

Miles: “Hitman Alex can take both of these cunts! This isn't a problem.”

Hitman Alex tosses the chair to the ground and then bends over before grabbing Paine's head. He pulls the champ up to his feet and leans him against the ropes. He launches him across, and as soon as Maddox bounces back, Alex quickly spins him in mid-air before dropping him right across his knee for a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker, managing to execute it slowly, as Paine is a large dude. Alex holds the submission for a bit, trying to do more damage to the back of Maddox Paine. He presses his knee against his back and pulls down on his chin, forcing him downwards and adding pressure to him. Paine quickly tries to fight out of it as he works his way up. He shoves Alex's hand up and then pulls himself back up. But as soon as he does, Hitman Alex hits him in the gut with a big kick. He presses Paine against the ropes again and then whips him to the opposite side. Alex bends over to try and throw him overhead with an overhead toss, however Paine is ready! Maddox quickly bounces up, presses his knee against Alex's face, and hits him with a knee facebuster! Alex bounces up as Paine runs to the ropes behind him. Paine charges forward and then leaps up, hitting his knee across Hitman's face, dropping him. Riley is up on his feet as well, but Paine attacks. Maddox runs towards him and drops him with an equally powerful running knee. Alex is up on his feet and he groggily turns towards the champ. Maddox quickly raises Alex up and drops him with a Double A Spinebuster! Beautifully executed. Riley is up on his feet now too. Riley runs towards Maddox, but Maddox ducks his attempt to hit him with a lariat. As soon as Riley turns, Paine leaps up as high as he can and drops him with a flying punch! Riley hits the mat as Maddox then gives a great big roar!

Cedar: “The world champ has suddenly picked up some momentum!”

Miles: “Oh no. Oh no!”

Maddox goes into the corner, waiting for Hitman Alex to recover, as he sets up for a spear! Alex begins to groggily get up to his feet. As soon as he does, Maddox begins to sprint forward... except Riley Williamson suddenly charges forward, having recovered as well. Paine targets him instead, throwing himself forward and dropping Riley with a huge Striking Spear! Maddox tries to get up before Alex attacks, but it's too late! Hitman Alex drops him with a huge running lariat! Maddox gets up, but eats a second lariat. Again, a third. Maddox refuses to stay down as he gets right back up again. Alex quickly hooks his head under his arm and then raises him up and over, dropping him with a signature Olympic Slam, or as he calls it... Death Note! Alex quickly goes for the pin!

“1!”

“2!”

“3!” - No! Kickout!

Cedar: “Hitman Alex has taken the upper hand!”

Miles: “I am not a big fan of him either, but anyone's better than Riley or Paine!”

Hitman Alex pounds the mat, but he looks to the ropes to attack again. He knows what he must do. He has to hit his Dynasty, or as everyone else would call it, a fameasser. Except, he wants to do it from the top rope! Alex smirks as he has the upper hand. He pulls Paine up to his hands and knees and then kicks him in the head once, for good measure. He crawls out to the ring apron and climbs up. He is on the top rope. On top of the world. Maddox gets up, but he is doubled over. Alex smiles one more time and then leaps forward, going for a top rope fameasser, or Dynasty. However, in a single act of strength, Paine catches him in midair! He has him on his shoulders. He turns him over, and slams him with a Titan Bomb, right on top of Riley Williamson! The fans cheer! Maddox doesn't waste any time as he quickly pins Hitman Alex, who he pulls off of Riley first.
