| The crowd cheered as the two opponents circled each other in the center of the ring. Nightmare walked slowly, looking ominous with his mask and suit. C5 Ion bounced around, swinging his arms to prepare himself. They grappled in the middle of the ring with the larger of the two, Nightmare, getting the advantage by putting Ion in a headlock. Ion then pushed on Nightmare to get him to move to the ropes. He then got out of the hold and used the ropes to bounce Nightmare to the other side. Nightmare rebounds against the ropes and comes at Ion. Ion jumps over him and waits for Nightmare to come back. This time he plants Nightmare with a brutal drop kick. Nightmare hits the mat hard. Ion goes for a cover.

Nightmare gets his shoulder up quickly and Ion gets to his feet. He grabs Nightmare and pulls him to his feet. He pushes him against the ropes and irish whips Nightmare across the ring. Nightmare rebounds against the ropes once more and this time sends a Big Boot to the skull of his opponent. The boot slams Ion so hard that he hits the mat and rolls out of the ring. He lands on the floor on his hands and knees. Nightmare goes outside the ring and stands over him. He pulls C5 to his feet and irish whips him towards the steel steps. Ion counters by twisting around and irish whipping Nightmare himself. Nightmare slams into the steel step so hard that the top half falls off. Ion gets the support of the crowd as he climbs onto the apron. The refs count is at 4 as Nightmare gets to his feet. C5 Ion jumps off the apron and lands a flying clothesline. Nightmare's head bounces off the floor. The ref's count is up to five as Ion gets to his feet. He begins to pull Nightmare to his feet slowly. Suddenly, Nightmare grabs Ion's arm, and a tarantula comes out of his sleeve. Ion looks terrified as the spider crawls on his arms. Nightmare uses this distraction to his advantage and jumps on Ion and lands his move, Phobia onto the floor. Ion rolls over, seemingly unconscious. Nightmare allows the tarantula back into his sleeve and gets back into the ring. The ref's count is at 7.

DING-DING
"Here is your Winner, Nightmare!"
The crowd boos at Nightmare's cowardly tactics while he laughs hysterically. He pulls the spider back out of his sleeve and begins to play with it as the show goes to commercial. |

The next match up is confusing to see because for over a month. C5 Ion has lost every single match he's had since being here in XWA. Now Joey, what do you think Ion should do? Joey Miles:Ted I'm going to be dead ass with this answer...I don't think Ion has what it takes to compete in this company. Ion has really been classified as the jobber of all matches in the world... DING! DING! DING!The bell rings and Ion looks across the ring to the monster not moving at all. Ion looks at the referee for confirmation on if this is a match or if Nightmare is just going to stand there. Ion looks at the XWA fans on his right and left and he shakes his head, showing everyone he should be able to do this. Ion starts slowly walking diagonally in front of him towards Nightmare with an somewhat of an hesitation in his step. Ion walks up to the still Nightmare and Ion waves his hand in his face, but still no movement. Ion looks to the crowd with his hands in his hips and waves his hand once again, but still nothing. Ion looks back at the referee and then Nightmare and decides to leave this match. As Ion stepped through the ropes and onto the apron, Nightmare finally moved and his first movement was towards Ion. As he moved, the crowd tried to warn Ion, but Ion didn't notice that Nightmare was behind him. Ion, still on the apron through his hands up and turned around, face to face with Nightmare. Ion didn't know what to do, but Nightmare viciously threw a left jab, but Ion with the most quickness in the match, moved backwards on the apron and threw his right leg up, connecting to the skull of Nightmare with an hanging enzigiuri from the apron. The kick rattled Nightmare's head and Nightmare is on his heels, as Ion springboards off the ropes, going for a crossbody, but Nightmare catches him in midair. Ion tries to wiggle out of the hold, but the strength of Nightmare has come into play. Nightmare then spins Ion around and slams him with great force hitting a Spinning Side Slam. Nightmare looks at Ion and then starts to rub his forearm on Ion's face, and Ion is squirming around to try to get the big man's arm off of him. The referee comes over and tries to pull Nightmare off, but as soon as the referee did that, Nightmare turned quickly, looking directly into the referee's eyes. The referee backed up with a quickness to avoid the evil wrath of Nightmare. Nightmare took his time as he toggled his focus back to Ion. As Nightmare stood up, he also picked up Ion by the throat with one hand. Nightmare, still holding Ion's throat, looked into Ion's eyes, but Ion closed his eyes, still struggling by the grip of the hold. Ion with no adrenaline left in his body, suddenly brought the intensity, as he started to repeatedly kick Nightmare in the midsection. Ion then started to club the hand of Nightmare, until the grip of Nightmare grip was gone.Ted Cedar:Ion is showing a lot of heart tonight for some odd reason, its amazing that he's showing so much this week. Joey Miles:I tell you this Ted, Nightmare will start showing who us the bigger man in this match in just a few... Ion then relentlessly, kicked Nightmare on the side of the thigh with his right leg, and then a jumping kick to the sternum of Nightmare with his left leg. Ion came back down and jumped up, and spun 180 degrees, delivering a jumping back kick to the jaw of Nightmare that rocked him to lean onto the ropes. Ion looks at the ropes, vertical from Nightmare and he then runs the ropes and goes for an dropkick, that connects, kicking the big man over the top ropes. The crowd start to clap up their hands so the momentum of Ion would be flawless. Ion waits for the big man to get up and Ion takes the first initiative and that is go high risk. Ion sees The Nightmare get to his feet and Ion launches himself over the top rope with a corkscrew plancha, landing on Nightmare. But, The Nightmare doesn't go down as he once again catches Ion. Ion starts fighting with elbows to the head, but its not doing any effect. Nightmare holds Ion in a bearhug position and charges towards the ring apron, taking Ion into the side of the apron with a great amount of force. The Nightmare sits Ion on the apron, on the outside of the ring and The Nightmare stares at the defenseless Ion as he charges towards Ion with a big boot, knocking Ion into the ring with a massive head of steam. Nightmare looks at the crowd with a great extant and climbs back in the ring with no hesitation. Nightmare looks for a pin attempt as he pulls the unconscious Ion into the middle of the ring.ONE TW-KICKOUT BY ION Nightmare takes another look at Ion in disbelief and slowly gets up off one knee and takes a hesitation as he stares at Ion. Nightmare suddenly jumps up and lands his leg across the fallen Ion's chest, crashing down onto Ion with an leg drop. Ion in pain, rolls to the outside of the ring, onto the apron, and Nightmare follows. Ion, who is on the apron, pulled himself up using the ropes as leverage. Nightmare then grabbed Ion by the hair, locking a tight grip to try to bring Ion back inside the ropes, but Ion gains seperation with six elbow smashes to the jaw of Nightmare, knocking Nightmare to the center of the ring, still standing, but once again on his heels. Ion shakes his head to get back in the match and springboards once again, coming off the ropes with an springboard front dropkick, knocking Nightmare off his feet for the first time of this match. Ion sees the opening he needs for offense and he looks at the fallen Nightmare and goes towards the top turnbuckle and the fans seem to stand on their feet as they know what's about to happen next. Ion looks at the fallen victim, while on the top turnbuckle and he throws his hands up and flips in a full 450 degrees, executing the 450 splash press with authority. The move took the breath away of many XWA fans as Ion pulled the move off perfectly. Ion hooks the leg of the large individual to hopefully score the pin.ONE TWO THREE DING! DING! DING!Laura Watts:Here is your winner...C...5...Ioooonnnn! Joey Miles:He fuckin pulled off this match. I really, really, really didn't think he could win a match to save his damn life. Ted Cedar:I told you that Ion had a chance in this match. He showed that he wouldn't stay that long of a losing streak...What an impressive match by both men... The scene cuts to the backstage as Ion is still celebrating over this huge impressive win on XWA Vendetta.★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ |
