M1.) Ellis Morgan vs. Azrael vs. T.K. | Triple Threat MJFR42R

DING DING DING

TK stands at the bottom right corner, looking at both his opponents with excitement; as this was his first match since returning to XWA. Ellis Morgan however, doesn’t look too happy. He’s been losing since United Xtreme, and he looks to break this streak of misfortune tonight. Azrael suddenly charges at Morgan, and starts throwing lefts and rights at his head, as Morgan starts to block the strikes and give some of his own. TK then joins in, rushing at Morgan and hitting him with a jumping knee to the face, knocking Morgan down as he holds his head. Azrael looks at The Crimson Giant in shock, but before he can react, TK hits him with a swift, devastating Muay Thai kick to the head heard around the arena, knocking Azrael down like he just got shot in the head. TK then raises his hand as the crowd cheers for him, as he obviously hasn’t become rusty.

Ted Cedar: TK’s still got it! So early in the match and he has already knocked both of his opponents down!

Joey Miles: This whole match will be fucking child’s play to TK! He shouldn’t even be against these fools!

After a bit of showboating, TK gets Azrael to his feet, only to kick him in the gut. He puts The Masked Man’s head under his legs, wraps his arms around his abdomen and lifts him up his shoulders. The Evolution of Man then turns around and powerbombs Azrael onto Morgan, causing Azrael to bend back then roll over and drop to the outside of the ring, while Morgan grabs his gut from the impact of a man being slammed on him. The Crimson Giant then gets Morgan to his feet, wrapping his arm around his opponent’s neck. He then takes Morgan’s arm and puts it over his head, and swiftly lifts his opponent up into the air; only to crash him down to the mat with an effortless snap suplex. Morgan then sits up from the sudden pain shooting through his spine, and lies back down on the ground; as TK gets to his feet. TK catches his breath for a bit, then approaches Morgan. He gets him to his feet, but suddenly, Morgan wraps his arms around The Evolution of Man’s waist, then throws him over his head in a quick belly to belly suplex. TK arches his back a bit, but quickly gets to his feet. This doesn’t last long however, as a charging Morgan hits him with a clothesline that almost decapitates The Crimson Giant, knocking him and Morgan down as TK rolls around grabbing his head. Morgan then gets to his feet and takes a bit of a rest. As he turns around however, he gets downed by a Lou Thesz press from a charging Azrael, who finally got back into the ring. Azrael then mounts the big man, wildly throwing punches at his chest and head while Morgan tries blocking them. Azrael continues savagely beating on the big man, who eventually gets knocked out. Before Azrael can get off of Morgan, TK swiftly knees him in the face, knocking him off of Morgan forcefully, as he grabs his head from the pain. TK, seeing that Morgan will be knocked out for a while, approaches The Masked Man. TK goes up behind Azrael, now on one knee, and wraps his arms around his abdomen, before throwing him over his head with a German Suplex; making his opponent shake his head from the sudden jolt of pain through his upper back and neck, while TK maintains the hold for the cover.

KICKOUT!

TK gets to his feet, and backs away a bit from Azrael, who is slowly getting to his feet, now on one knee. The Crimson Giant then runs at him, driving his face into TK’s knee with a facebreaker knee smash. This rocks Azrael back abit, but TK makes sure to knock him down by following through 2 swift elbow strikes to The Masked Man’s head, knocking him down as Azrael grabs his head from the 2 baseball bat-like shots given to his skull. TK then approaches Azrael, then tries to get him to his feet; however as he moves his arms towards his opponent, Azrael suddenly bites at The Crimson Giant’s hand like a rabid dog, not letting go.TK tries to pull his hand back but Azrael’s jaws are locked. TK’s hard starts to bleed a bit as Azrael slowly gets to his feet, still biting at the hand. TK’s face shows the pain he’s going through, while Azrael finally gets to his feet, releasing his bite and throwing the hand to the site, before delivering a vicious headbutt to The Crimson Giant; staggering TK back a bit. Azrael then backs up, only to charge back at TK with a jumping knee, knocking TK down. Finally gaining some momentum, Azrael rolls TK flat on his belly, then grapevines his legs onto one of his own. Azrael then takes both TK’s arms and pulls them up, making his head rise. Azrael then drives TK’s head into the mat with a curbstomp, making The Evolution of Man’s head bounce of the canvas. The Masked Man releases his hold, prompting TK to grab his head from the pain. Azrael then gets TK to his feet, only to wrap his arm around his head and fall back. Driving The Crimson Giant’s head into the mat with a DDT, making TK grab his head from the sudden surge of pain through his neck and head. Azrael goes for the cover.

Ellis Morgan lunges himself at Azrael with a double axe handle strike, breaking the pin. Morgan then lifts Azrael off the ground and onto his shoulder, an impressive feat of strength, he then takes him down with a vicious powerslam. Morgan gets up, while Azrael rolls on the ground in pain. Morgan rests at a corner, looking at both downed opponents, waiting for either one to stand up to hit them with the spear. TK is the first to his feet, and immediately Morgan starts charging at him. However, the only thing he gets for his effort is a vicious boot to the face from The Evolution of Man. Morgan is knocked down to the mat as if hit by a truck, grabbing his head. TK then measures Morgan up, waiting for him to get up. Morgan then staggers to his feet, but is able to sidestep out of the way from TK’s elbow strike. Looking to capitalize, Morgan puts his under TK’s arm and on the side of his neck, then he lifts him up, only to drop him onto his knee with a vicious Irish Curse Backbreaker. TK bends back in pain, then rolls off of Morgan’s knee. Morgan, looking to end things quick, rolls TK on his belly. He then stands over his back and wraps his arm around TK, then bends back; locking him in the Dragon Sleeper. The Crimson Giant starts flailing his legs up and down, unable to escape as the air is squeezed out of him.

Ted Cedar: Morgan’s going to break his losing streak!

Joey Miles: Fucking blasphemy, Ted. Youre saying that like TK would tap. Besides, Masked Idiot’s still there.

Azrael, realizing what’s going on, quickly gets to his feet. He then rushes at Morgan, then steps on TK’s bent chest to launch him up and knee Morgan in the head with a modified Shining Wizard; forcing Morgan to release the hold, dropping down to the mat. Not wanting to waste any time, Azrael gets Morgan to his feet and carelessly kicks him in the gut, causing his opponent to bend down. Azrael then takes both of Morgan’s arms and crosses them. He then pulls at him, causing Morgan’s head to be under Azrael’s arm. The Masked Man lifts his opponent up, then falls back, driving Morgan’s head into the mat with a vicious Straightjacket Lifting DDT (Pop goes the weasel); leading to Morgan grabbing his head and rolling around on the mat from the surge of pain through his neck. Azrael goes for the cover.

TK hastily gets to his feet and kicks Azrael off of Morgan, causing The Masked Man to grab his side from the sudden pain driven into his midsection. Azrael, after numbing the pain on his side a bit, gets to his feet. He charges at TK, looking to hit him with a Clothesline From Hell (Here’s Johnny). TK however, has other plans in mind. As Azrael gets near The Evolution of Man, TK ducks down and wraps his arms around The Masked Man’s abdomen. He lifts him up while spinning in a quick fashion, only to slam him down onto the mat with a Spinning Spinebuster (Adaption Slam). TK gets Azrael to his feet, and wraps his arms under his opponent’s, looking to finish things with a Tiger Bomb (Evo-Bomb). Things don’t go according to plan though, as Morgan suddenly runs past TK and Azrael and ricochets off the ropes. Morgan then hits TK with a beast-like spear, causing TK to fall back, and Azrael to be driven into the mat with a double arm DDT. Azrael rolls to the outside from the sudden force that drove him down, grabbing his neck; while The Crimson Giant grabs his midsection from the sudden animalistic move.

Ted Cedar: Ellis Morgan is a freak of nature!

Joey Miles: Morgan is not winning this. Morgan is not fucking winning this. It was an incredible spear, but Morgan. Is. Not. Fucking. Winning. This.

Morgan then goes for the pin.

THRE- KICKOUT!

Morgan can’t believe his eyes, and he starts to argue with the referee Ryu Sanu, screaming at him that TK was down for the count. He then starts walking up to the official, making Sanu back away. Morgan then shoves Sanu to the ground in frustration, but Sanu can’t disqualify him cause of the nature of the match. Morgan, having released his anger by shoving the official, turns around; looking to get back to work on The Evolution of Man. Morgan then approaches TK, but as he gets nearer, The Crimson Giant swiftly gets to his feet and delivers a stiff Thrust Kick onto Morgan’s face heard around the Bridgestone Arena (Cambarian Explosion), causing Morgan to drop down to the mat like a rock. TK, wanting to make sure that this is the end, gets Morgan to his feet and kicks him in the gut, causing him to bend forwards. TK shoves Morgan’s head under his legs, and hooks both of Morgan’s arms, looking to end the match with the Pedigree (Natural Selection). However, to TK’s shock, Morgan forcefully flails his arms back down, breaking TK’s hold. Morgan then grabs both of The Crimson Giant’s legs, and gets back to a vertical postion while lifting his opponent above him, dropping TK down to the mat with an over the head slam. TK arches his back from the pain, but hastily gets back up to his feet, growing impatient and wanting to finish things. TK runs at Morgan, but Morgan ducks down and grabs his leg and head, locking him in a fireman’s carry position. Morgan then stands, and lets out a roar of triumph. Morgan throws TK’s leg back while holding onto his head and drops down, delivering a Shoulder Cutter onto The Evolution of Man.

Ted Cedar: Morgan wins!

Joey Miles: FUCK NO. NO.

Thomas Chamberlain, who’s been watching at ringside the entire match, looks at his client with confidence; as he will finally break his losing streak. Morgan goes for the pin

Suddenly, Azrael pulls referee Ryu Sanu by the leg to the outside. The official scolds Azrael, who simply flips him off. Morgan gets to his feet and looks to the referee as Azrael slides back into the ring and runs at Morgan, aiming to do a Clothesline From Hell to steal the victory. Morgan however ducks, grabs the masked man’s leg and head and locks him into a fireman’s carry.

Joey Miles: NO GOD DAMN IT!

Morgan then throws Azrael’s legs behind him, while not letting go of his head. Azrael however is able to drop down at the last second, only to jump back at Morgan, wrapping his legs around his opponent. Azrael then takes Morgan’s arm and places it in front of Morgan’s neck. Azrael then pushes at Morgan’s head from behind, choking him with a Body Scissors Cobra Clutch (Devil’s Knot). Morgan then tries to walk to the ropes, but the life is getting choked out of him too quickly. He drops to one knee, and seeing as TK is out cold from his own finisher, the only way to escape is to tap. Morgan then taps, to Chamberlain’s dismay.

Laura Watts: Here is your winner, Azrael!

Joey Miles: BULLSHIT! TK SHOULD’VE WON THIS! I’m taking a piss. *Miles slams his headset down onto the table and heads for backstage*

Ted Cedar: Another impressive win from Azrael here tonight.

Nirvana’s You Know You’re Right blares through the speakers, as Azrael releases Morgan. TK however has finally gotten to his feet, and he stares Azrael in the eye. Azrael drops down and rolls out of the ring, walking back up the ramp, looking at The Evolution of Man. TK, upset at his loss from returning, gets Morgan to his feet and hooks both of his arms. He then lifts Morgan up and violently slams him down with an Evo-Bomb (Tiger Bomb). Morgan is laid out, unconcious; while TK simply looks at him in anger, as he’s been bested by a bunch of rookies.

XWA then goes to commercial break.

Not gonna lie, this wasn't my best. But feedback would be appreciated in the event that no one else shows.

“DING DING DING”

As the match begins the three competitors take a moment to scout each other out, however, there’s a very obvious amount of attention towards the Evolution of Man’s corner. T.K. simply beckons his foes on as if to say bring it. Azrael decides to accept this challenge as he barrels towards the XWA veteran. T.K. easily dodges to the side as the mask man charges into the turnbuckle, hitting it chest first before stumbling back a few steps. Before the latest member of the Hopeful can recover, the Crimson Giant lands a massive uppercut followed by a right hook that sends the monster falling to the ground stunned. Ellis Morgan simply watches, allowing the two bigger, “scarier” foes tire themselves out. Or at least, thats what he had planned to do until T.K. turned to him and started to head in his direction.

“You see that Chet, T.K.’s a beast, this match is going to be easy pickings for him.”

“I wouldn’t go that far Joey, T.K.’s technical ability may have started out with the advantage, but one should never underestimate a brawler. That, and Morgan could always prove to be a challenge as well.”

“Blah, T.K.’s got this.”

Morgan backs up wisely, one doesn’t simply fight a man of T.K.’s size one on one without a bit of caution. Fortunately for Ellis, he doesn’t have to do it alone as Azrael comes from behind with a devastating chop block that takes the Evolution of Man off his feet, leaving him vulnerable. The masked man doesn’t take advantage of this opportunity however as he then makes his move towards Morgan. Ellis isn’t one to be underestimated however as he responds with a quick hook that sends Azrael stumbling to the side as the point that the Hopeful member is the smallest man in this match is brought up. Morgan doesn’t relent either as he charges forward, hitting the crazed individual with hooks and straights as he backs his foe into the turnbuckle. Morgan looks to be getting excited right up until he feels the pain of being sandwiching Azrael into the turnbuckle as T.K. hits them both with an Avalanche!

“See, they can knock him down for a moment, but then he ADAPTS!”

“Joey, what does Adapt mean?”

“Shut up and watch the match Chet!”

As Azrael drops down dazed in the turnbuckle, Morgan manages to stay up on his feet as he stumbles back before turning around to face the Grand Slam champion. Two technical fighters face to face, which one will have the upper hand? Neither as Azrael continues to bring the unpredictable element to this match as he pulls Morgan’s legs out from under him sending him falling forward into T.K. who spins around and adds to his fall with an impromptu ace cutter! The fans go nuts as Ellis looks like he’s been taken down for the count. Azrael goes for the cover on Ellis before T.K. can even think to take advantage. “1…2..” Of course, that doesn’t mean the Evolution of Man was just going to let the victory happen right under his nose either as he knocks the masked man off their fallen foe.

“That was a close one!”

“T.K. was right fucking there, what are you talking about?”

The Hopeful member quickly lunges forward, but T.K. is a bit faster, grabbing the brawler by the arm, and rolling him to the side before quickly jumping on him to get into a full mount position. Azrael looks up with rage as he’s caught beneath the behemoth of a man, before he starts blocking blow after blow from T.K. who starts unleashing his powerful arsenal of strikes that were known for winning him the Intercontinental Championship. The former MMA fighter takes a quick moment to breathe as his masked adversary takes a moment to comment. “So, is the rage behind your fists because you’re a terrible brother?” T.K.’s eyes open wide with rage as Azrael comments on his current situation, only for the masked man to buck up and escape from his strange predicament leaving T.K. to punch the canvas. Azrael then follows it up grabbing the former world champion from behind with a sleeper hold!

“Azrael’s got T.K. on the ground, will T.K. give up upon his return? Is Azrael about to make himself famous?!”

“Calm down, when was the last time T.K. even gave up?”

“When was the last time he wrestled regularly?”

“Why don’t you shut the fuck up.”

T.K. struggles as Azrael applies more and more pressure, not allowing T.K. to simply break free. “You really are a shell of a man aren’t you? You act like a big man, but you’re really a failure.” T.K. starts to fight back, surprising the masked man. Normally he psyches his opponents out, but for one like T.K., it merely causes rage. You don’t want to wake up the angry giant. Fortunately, for everyone in the match, Morgan prevents Azrael from doing so as he grabs him, as he grabs him from behind, before pulling them both up to their feet as the masked man refuses to release the hold. Ellis takes no mind to this as he keeps his hands locked before dropping back and pulling his foes over into a German Suplex! T.K. goes flying across the ring, clearly hurt as he rolls out of the ring. Ellis goes for the quick cover. “1…2.” Yet his crazed foe isn’t ready to give in just yet.

“What a maneuver!”

“Bloody hell, he might have killed T.K.”

With possibly the biggest threat temporarily removed from the contest, Ellis goes to start beating down on his other opponent as the masked man attempts to recover. Morgan drops stomps down everywhere, only instead of showing any real sign of pain, the madman starts to laugh. Ellis backs off for a moment. A moment is all it takes. Azrael takes the big man by surprise as he catches him with a double legged take down before leaping on top of the former Boxer and dropping some bombs. Not quite as skillfully as T.K. due to his lack of technical ability, but still devastating nonetheless as Morgan is late to start blocking and gets hit with a few haymakers early. Unfortunately, while his hits have hit hard, they haven’t hit hard enough and his lack of experience with this kind of fighting proves to be his undoing as Morgan catches his arm and spins them over immediately reversing their position as Ellis cracks his neck. “Now to shut you up.”

“What a brawl here, mixing technical fighting with untrained ability is making this truly hard to watch.”

“What are you talking about, Morgan only has a black eye, it’s not like someone is bleeding out of their eyes or something.”

Or at least, they don’t see as Azrael takes a good amount of punishment before Morgan rolls off of him and takes a breather. What most don’t tell you is, when people start raining punches down on an opponent, it wears you down. “Are you done?” Azrael asks as he slowly starts getting up, obviously dazed, but without a hint of hurt in his voice to the Morgan’s surprise. “Come now, don’t tell me you thought this was going to be easy?” Morgan charges forward, clearly affected the way his masked tormentor intends for him to be as the newest member of the Hopeful ducks under a clothesline attempt before running into the ropes on the opposite side of the ring and rebounding to catch his foe with his own clothesline, better known as his signature Clothesline from Hell, better known as Here’s Johnny!

“And Morgan is down! What a clothesline from Azrael right there, he may have this match.”

“T.K.’s just going to come in and wreck their shit, I don’t see why you’re getting so excited there Chet.”

Normally this is the time where you go for the pin. However, Azrael just barely ducks under a kick towards his face as the Evolution of Man has returned to this contest. Surprised by Robert Hopes newest pupil as next to no one dodges his Cambrian Explosion, let alone a rookie. This one moment of surprise is all it takes though as the masked man rams T.K. into the turnbuckle before turning him around and starting to smash his face into the top turnbuckle over and over again. Laughing evilly as he does so. It’s quite the disturbing site, but T.K. is known for being a glutton to punishment as he drives an elbow into his foes gut causing Azrael to back up a step, before T.K. turns around and catches him with a devastating Roaring Elbow strike that sends him falling to the canvas like a tree getting cut down.

“What a return for T.K., though he probably isn’t fully recovered from Azrael’s Ravage, even padded the turnbuckle isn’t a very soft surface to have your head hit.”

“Well duh Chet, next thing I know you’ll be talking about how being thrown half way across the ring actually good for your health!”

T.K. takes a moment as both his opponents, both the future of XWA, struggle to get up. Even he’s taking quite a beating after being thrown across the ring earlier. He cracks his knuckles now as if to say he’s ready to end this now. Or at least he was until the lights went out.

“What the hell?”

“Go away Dragon!”

The lights come on, but Dragon is nowhere to be seen, instead Azrael is back on his feet and T.K. is down on the ground as Azrael looks down at the Evolution of Man. “Looking for someone?” The masked man laughs loudly before getting grabbed from behind by Morgan who tosses him to the ground with a triumphant look as he grabs Azrael by the legs before starting to spin. The fans watch in amazement as Morgan displays incredible feats of strength yet again, swinging around not once, not twice, but three times before throwing Azrael into the nearby turnbuckle where he lays unmoving. Morgan roars as he looks to get his first win in XWA. Unfortunately that’s not to be as he’s hit by a massive Cambrian Explosion, or to be put simply, kicked in the face so god damn hard he lost some brain cells. The fans go nuts as T.K. picks up Morgan by his arms, and hits him with his finishing Natural Selection before going for the pin.

“1….2…”

Azrael, seeing that his chances of victory are about to slip through his fingers, makes a leap of faith, only coming just short as Ryu Sanu’s hand comes down.

“3!”
