The first trailer for Jeremy Renner's Kill the Messenger has premiered.
Renner is joined by Michael Sheen, Ray Liotta and Rosemarie DeWitt in the drama, which tells the true story of investigative journalist Gary Webb.
Webb exposed evidence of the CIA's involvement with the spread of cocaine in Los Angeles.
Michael Cuesta is directing Kill the Messenger from a script by Peter Landesman.
Paz Vega, Michael K Williams, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Andy Garcia, Michael Sheen, Tim Blake Nelson, Robert Patrick, Barry Pepper and Oliver Platt make up the supporting cast.
Kill the Messenger will be released on October 10 in the US and November 28 in the UK.
