A ship used extensively in the Pirates of the Caribbean films has sunk in a freak accident.
The Brig Unicorn, used as The Black Pearl, The Henrietta and The Terrasaw in the movies, sank on Friday (May 23) while en route from St Lucia to St Vincent.
The ship was also used in the '70s TV show Roots.
The nine crew members and captain escaped uninjured, and were safely taken to shore by rescue boats.
The first Pirates of the Caribbean film, The Curse of The Black Pearl, grossed $654million worldwide upon its release in 2003.
The popular series is set to make a return in 2016 with fifth instalment Dead Men Tell No Tales.
The film's release has been pushed back due to issues with the script. The release date, originally set for July 10, 2015, has been delayed until the summer of 2016.
