Battlefield: Hardline very recently had a trailer leak, detailing the game and some of the new features. We're working on getting all those details to you, but one interesting fact has popped up.
Though it wasn't confirmed what platform the video was being shown on, footage of the customise menus towards the end shows the iconic PlayStation symbols - suggesting it was being shown on PS4.
At one point the video highlights the brand new AI 'built from the ground up' (sigh.) and, alongside the in-dev footage of the AI at work was a frame-rate counter, which hovered around 33-34 frames a second.
This is single-player (unless AI also features in the multiplayer mode), which suggests that Battlefield: Hardline is aiming for 30FPS on consoles - at least on PS4, perhaps.
Obviously the footage will likely have been taken from a PC - since access the dev build would need to be on PC during development - but it shows that Visceral Games is at least trying to target a steady 30FPS.
