M6 | Jared Jerusalem vs. JHalc Empty
PostSubject: Re: M6 | Jared Jerusalem vs. JHalc   M6 | Jared Jerusalem vs. JHalc EmptyThu May 22, 2014 7:37 pm

The audience in this jam-packed arena as excited as they'll ever be for the second to the last match tonight. Knockout Kings, Jared Jerusalem vs D-Volution's, JHalc. Who will bring home pride, victory and the momentum for their team?

Ted Cedar: Well Joey, it looks like Jared Jerusalem and JHalc are about to face-off tonight... Both arguably are rather bigheaded when it comes to their own achievements. I’m still looking forward to what they could bring on to the table though.

Joey Miles: They have a right to be! But you gotta remember when Knockout Kings took the titles from D-Volution, it was Jared who ended the match by hitting the Unprettier on The Jack of Hearts himself, JHalc. I wonder how these men feel about each other? Hope they fucking beat the living life out of each other.

Ted Cedar: These two certainly have a bone to pick with each other, whether it's because of the animosity from the Tag Team Championship match that transpired weeks ago or if it's just simply their ego's talking. As always, I'm excited to see how these men's chemistry will unfold in the squared circle. Jared may have the advantage at this one, JHalc just came from his triple threat match during United Xtreme. The Tag Champ himself did not have a bout last night.

Joey Miles: He's getting tired with dealing with his tag partner’s antics, that has to count for something.

DING! DING! DING!

The bell rings meaning that this match is officially underway. Our Tag Team Champion gives his title to his manager, Empress for her to hold while JHalc's focusing on his fellow combatant from the other corner. The Jack of Hearts, though being a cocky bastard, is still looking like he's taking this match seriously. The Intercontinental Champion must be looking to take revenge on the person who took his tag title belt from him. Speaking of the Tag Champ, he's over on the other side looking as smug as ever while he's facing his opponent. One has to think if he's actually aware of JHalc's accomplishments in the wrestling industry to look so arrogant right now. Both men get up and personal by heading towards each other in very close proximity. As camera zooms in on both men, The Current Tag Champ and The Former Tag Champ face off trading insults that only they and probably the referee, Ryu Sanu could hear. This may be just a match in Vendetta, but it looks like a showdown with the intensity in both of their eyes. They obviously don't like each other and want to better the other. Both wrestlers are 6 feet tall, there's not really a size or strength advantage here. Suddenly the Piece of Eden delivers a wicked slap to the face of his adversary. The fans reply to the sound of the slap with an "OHHHH."
Before JHalc could answer back, The man who slapped him started daring him to punch him in the face as if he actually wants that to happen. Double J gives another slap, but it was a quick and painless one just for the sake of mocking his opponent who's as brash as him. JHalc decides he's had enough of the treatment from Jared Jerusalem and grabs him, locking each other in a collar and elbow tie up. Both men takes steps towards one direction and it ends up with JHalc being backed against on corner. The ref instructs both men to let go. After being left with no choice but to comply to the official's orders, The one half of the Knockout Kings slaps the Jack Of Hearts again which makes a loud sound.

Ted Cedar: I feel like this match is quickly personal between this two. I wouldn't want to be the referee in the ring when these too explode.

Joey Miles: Oh please Cedar, you love it when men "explode."

Ted Cedar: I’m serious Joey! This is going to be a match that people will talk about. The Intercontinental Champion versus One Half of The Tag Team Champions. I always love a good Champ vs Champ match. You should too.

Is it hot in here or is it the feel both guys are giving off in the match? The atmosphere is intense as JHalc is starting to get even more pissed at his opponent. The Current Intercontinental Champion pushes Jared away from him, getting sick of his opponents antics. Double J replies with his own shove as well but Jared doesn't seem to be pissed at all. In fact he's probably just playing with JHalc's temper. Both men divulge into a tie up again. The grapple to each other ends though as The Tag Champ irish whips the former champ towards the ropes. JHalc ricochets back to a bent down Jared Jerusalem, probably to throw The Jack of Hearts over him. But the IC champ does a very athletic move by rolling over the Hypocrite Hunter's back. JHalc grabs The Self Proclaimed Savior of XWA by the gut from behind. He tries to lift him up for move of his, but Double J deadweights his opponent, being 23 pounds heavier could still go a long way. The Piece of Eden drives his elbow behind, hitting The Jack of Hearts right on the forehead. Jerusalem turns around and irish-whips the D-Volution member yet again. As the Intercontinental Champ ricochets from the ropes, Jared tries leaping up to be able to hop over his adversary, but the Jack Of Hearts catches him with a driven forearm to the abdomen while The Savior was in mid-air. Double J falls back to to the mat, curling up in pain. JHalc quickly seizes the chance by sitting Jared up and locking him in a headlock. The Former Tag Champ trying to take the oxygen and flow of blood from Jared. The Savior tries clutching the air for any sort of air. The view of the camera switches to a shot of Empress, trying to get the attention of Jared Jerusalem. Jared needs to get motivated soon or this match could end quickly. Soon there were signs of The Piece of Eden fighting back. JHalc takes notice of this and extends Jared's arm up in the air. He then switches from a headlock to an arm triangle choke by using his feet and wrapping around Jared's throat and raised arm. They both fall, laying down on the mat.

Ted Cedar: That's what happens when you disrespect a wrestling veteran. JHalc uses his submission expertise to control the pace of this match and tire down the Piece of Eden, Jared Jerusalem.

Joey Miles: Don't count out the cocky son of a bitch yet. He's got a lot of moves up his sleeve. And he's not even wearing any sleeved tops when he wrestles.

As Joey stated, don't count Jared out yet. The Hypocrite Hunter utilizes his technical specialty and his strength to separate the legs of JHalc which was around Jared's neck. He moves one of the legs with one hand and is now able to turn around. He breaks his extended arm away from JHalc's grasp and wraps both of his arms around The Jack of Hearts' ankles as he returns to a vertical base. Jared tries to go for "The Walls of Jerusalem" early on in the match by trying to turn his opponent around. However The IC champ uses his feet to kick, shoving Double J away. Jared stumbles and rolls backwards but gets up on his feet again. Both return to their feet while staring each other with bad intent. The deathly glare to each other encourages the crowd to chant "Let's go Jared!" and "Let's go JHalc!" chants. Both of these men knows how it feels to be down right despised by the audience, but their well blended chemistry makes the crowd ecstatic for them to bring their best to each other. A battle of ego's if you'd call it. No one seems to have the advantage as of now. The combatants both go at it with another collar and elbow tie-up. Jerusalem twists and heads behind his opponent, wrapping his arms around JHalc's abdomen. Jared goes for a roll up pin, him sitting on top of JHalc but the former tag champ kicks out, throwing  Double J near out of the ring. He then exits the squared circle by rolling out. The Intercontinental Champion quickly returns to his feet and sprints towards the direction of Jared. He jumps and does a drop kick from the bottom rope and to the outside, but it doesn't hit J Double as he evades it. JHalc lands on his sides with impact and groans in agony. The Piece of Eden returns to the inside of the ring and paces himself towards the corner. He climbs the turnbuckles and awaits for his opponent to return onto his feet. As he waits patiently, he flexes his muscles as a way to pass the time, getting mixed reactions from the crowd as he does it. The Jack of Hearts returns to his feet with the help of the announce table but is met by The Hypocrite Hunter himself who leaps up and hits a flying axe-handle on JHalc. The Former Tag Champ falls back down to the concrete floor and The Current Tag Champ almost tripped from the force of the move but remains on both pegs. Being cocky as ever, he raises both of his arms(similar to how Austin Aries does it) The referee begins to count again since both men are outside. Jerusalem reaches down and picks up his foe and slides him back in the ring. He follows, causing Ryu Sanu to stop the the count out, and then he leaps up onto the turnbuckle. As he turns his whole body around to face the ring, he's met by a flying dropkick to his face from JHalc. It brings Jared crashing and burning towards the outside outside. Jared J. yells as he makes a loud thud, falling onto the covered concrete. Wasting no time, The Jack of Hearts climbs up the turn buckles. Jared forces himself back up onto a vertical base but that was also the moment that JHalc decides to leap in air and do his signature aerial move. He lands on Jared, drilling his fist on the cranium of JJ. as the crowd cheers loudly for the good showing from both men. The ref has to start the count since both men are outside of the ring and apparently also down.

Joey Miles: Get up Jared! Kill David Michael's partner!

Ted Cedar: That's a little over the top, don't you think Joey?

Joey Miles: Shut up, Cedar!... But then again I don't like Jared's partner either. Fuck em both!

Both men were able to return to their battleground which is the ring, JHalc enters the ring at the count of five while as Jared Jerusalem enters at the count of seven. The D-Volution member quickly goes to work on what his team would call the so-called “Knocked up Queen.”
He starts hammering down on his opponent before he could return to his toes. Using his forearms and fists but all that did was give The Knockout King a drive to get up, ironically it’s giving him some energy and momentum. Jared gets back up despite the continual shots from The Jack of Hearts himself. J Double smashes his forearm across the bridge of JHalc’s nose, causing him to scramble backwards a bit. He delivers another shot to the face of JHalc, making him move backwards in an awkward manner. Jerusalem goes for a last strike which is a clothesline but as he charges against his foe, The Intercontinental Champion pulls down the ropes which causes the Self Proclaimed Savior of XWA to go over the top rope and out of the ring. He lands rolling down on the concrete. At least the impact could have been worse. The official, Ryu Sanu has to start his count.  However The Jack of Hearts isn’t finished yet. He runs towards the opposite side of the ropes and launches back from it. As Jared gets up looking quite dazed, The Former Tag Champion’s already his way towards JJ’s direction. JHalc goes for a straight dive from the bottom ropes but ends up meeting up Jerusalem’s boot with a devastating Superkick! The audience were surpised at that last minute move from The Piece of Eden. The Hypocrite Hunter tumbles back down to the floor probably to regain some breaths and obviously rest.

Joey Miles: Woah! That fucking superkick sent Jay back in the ring sleeping!

Ted Cedar: Wait a second Joey.... W-Was that an STS?

Joey Miles: He could be mocking Michaels by hitting his partner with that move. God knows I would. But I feel that was sort of instinctive.

Ted Cedar: I didn’t know you could use big words like instinctive.

Joey Miles: Fuck you Ted.

Both men are down as the ref counts. Jared’s outside while JHalc’s in the ring. And the fans are still torn between the two. They alternatively chant “Jared Jerusalem!” and “JHalc”

Kickout!

JHalc was able to kickout from the mighty superkick. Good thing it took some time for The Piece of Eden to go for the cover. This could have ended differently had Jared went for the pin immediately.  Jared gets up on his knees and kneels upward to return to vertical base. He heads towards the corner. He gives a quick yet can be heard slap to the covered turnbuckle before climbing up on it. He waits patiently for his fellow combatant to stand up and probably exploit his momentum on him. As the Jack of Hearts rises up, Jared J lunges at him with a missile dropkick. But in the last minute, the Intercontinental champion was able  to pace himself out of the way. Causing Jerusalem to land torso first onto the mat. That lucky side step wasn’t the start. As Jared returns to his feet, yet still bended down to clench the pain on his torso. JHalc pushes him towards the ropes and as Jared came launching back, JHalc leaps up and hits with with a splendid dropkick to the facial features. The Hypocrite Hunter rolls out of the Vendetta ring to buy himself some time. He walks towards the commentators area while his hands are covering his mouth due to that hard dropkick to his face. He rests and leans on the apron for a while to catch a breath but he sees JHalc going for a high risk maneuver. The Jack Of Hearts slingshots and springboards from the top rope and goes for a crossbody onto The Piece of Eden. But Jared slides himself into the ring before it could happen. JHalc ends up taking a hard landing, which makes a loud thud as he crashes. Not a beautiful sight. But a lucky break for JJ to avoid that move. The ref’s counting while JHalc’s flat on the floor, right in front of the broadcast table while Jared’s daring him to get back up on his feet with his hand gestures pointing towards himself. This time it’s The Piece of Eden who decides to run for the ropes. As JHalc rises back onto his feet with some help from the announce table, Jerusalem ricochets back from the ropes and heads towards his direction. Jared in full speed goes for a suicide dive through the ropes but becomes the recipient of a JHalc forearm strike that sends him rolling back towards the center of the squared-circle. That drill to the mush of Jared probably sends him seeing stars. The IC champion slides back onto the ring before the ref could count him out. He gets back on his feet and stomps the light headed Jared right across the head before he could begin to crawl. He places the Hypocrite Hunter back onto his feet and grabs hit by the back of the head. He then drives the KO King member face first toward the covered buckles. After that he turns him around and chops him silly with his knife edge hand. This time it’s the Jack Of Hearts who mocks  Jared with a wicked slap across the cheekbones. He points to himself and probably is saying egotistical things about himself from the looks of it but gets shoved a few feet away by Double J himself. JHalc comes charging back at his foe but Jared evades, sending JHalc crashing at the corner. Jared turns him around and starts delivering his own brand of chops accompanied with “WOO’s” from the crowd. The IC champ, though backed in a corner starts retaliating with chops as well. The fans can’t stop saying “WOO!” now since both men are trading chop after knife edged chop. JHalc finally stops it with a forearm to the forehead of The Knockout King. Jared scrambles backward to the center of the ring, almost tripping with how wobbly he is. The Former tag champ follows and tries to lift up Double J, which looks like he’s going for the “Killing Joke.” However it’s blocked by Jared as he deadweights yet again to keep his feet on the mat. JHalc drives his fist onto Jared again sending him  to the ropes. But Jared replies with a vicious punch as well sending JHalc turning back and falling to the second rope.

Ted Cedar: These men have been unleashing their all at each other back and forth. Which one’s going to give?

Joey Miles: I hope it’s JHalc! David Michael’s will throw a fit if He loses.

Jared picks his adversary who’s been knocked down a peg. He places him back against the corner. The Piece of Eden walks slowly back. He sprints towards the  Jack of Hearts and lunges, turning around as he does it but JHalc dodges the move. Jared lands back hitting first on the buckles.  As Jared moves in pain because of his back and rear, The IC champ kicks the Tag Champ in the gut and lifts him up again in a fireman’s carry again for the “Killing Joke”  But Jared barely escapes by falling back behind the Jack of Hearts. JHalc turns to his opponent to see him jumping up towards him with his jumping cutter, called the “Unprettier.” but JHalc pushes him to the other way. Both men starts trading blows again. Elbows and fists, flying at each guy with vicious intentions. Both men start to look weakened with each shot but they still remain vigilant throughout. JHalc goes for a swift yet a killer clothesline but Jared twists behind and jumps on the back of JHalc in a horizontal manner. Clutching both of the IC Champ’s arms in a crucifix.  It seems like Jared’s got his opponent in the crucifix but JHalc was able to throw him up into a fireman’s carry. JHalc crosses Jared’s legs and tosses him in front of him and down on the mat with his finisher “The Killing Joke!”
JHalc goes for the cover

Kickout! Jared Jerusalem was able to kick out of JHalc’s finisher. The audience rose onto their feet when that happened. So did JHalc as he currenty has his hands on top of his head in surprise.

Ted Cedar: KICKOUT! H-How!? How did Jerusalem garner the strength to kickout from JHalc’s finishing move!

Joey Miles: JHalc can’t believe it too! His mouth’s wide open!

Ted Cedar: I still can’t believe he kicked out. It’s outstanding.

Joey Miles: It just goes to show that a man’s ego could even motivate someone to kick out. Just look at JHalc’s face! That fucking face! I’m taking a picture, give me a sec.

Ted Cedar: Don’t stand on the announce table! God damn it Joey.

The Jack of Hearts is still in a state of shock from the kickout of Jared Jerusalem. I think he got more than he bargained for. You got to be wondering if he’s doubting himself now. Hope he doesn’t though, he still needs to keep trying to win. Also he’ll face him yet again next week when the Tag Title’s are on the line. JHalc looks like he has no idea what to do now. He glances at Empress who seems to be reaching out to her boyfriend but that won’t do anything. The IC champ returns to scratching his head in confusion. Both him and The Piece of Eden are already starting to show signs of fatigue. It’s evident from their panting. He stares blankly at the ref who’s telling him that it was really a two count. JHalc’s been half a step ahead of Jerusalem the whole match but Jared keeps coming back to bite him in the ass for some reason. The frustration sets in on JHalc as he pounds the floor with his hand. He decides to work his way up the turnbuckles. As he reaches the top, he stands straight, getting ready for a diving move. The D-Volution member leaps in the air going for his Foot Hook High-Angle Diving Leg Drop which is called “The Last Laugh.” But Jared rolls to the side in the nick of time. The crash and burn to the mat creates a loud thud as the fans scream “OHHH!” from the top of their lungs. Jared places his one arm on top of the fallen JHalc and goes for a cover. Referee, Ryu Sanu starts to count.

1...

2..

Kickout! JHalc pushes his arm up just in the last moment. Everybody thought that that was over. How ironic it would be if JHalc’s finishing move was the one that cost him the match. As both men are down, the referee begins to count them out. The ref’s counts though soon get drowned out by the fans who are paying their respects to the competitors with “This is Awesome!” chants. Those chants may be enough to motivate these men before the referee could actually be able to count them out and prevent a no-contest. JHalc crawls on both knees and hands closer to the ropes. He uses the ropes again to pull himself upwards. JHalc’s had an injury of right knee injuries and surgeries. Taking that fall didn’t do himself any favor. Jared does something clever by rolling out of the ring. He uses the leverage from the apron to help him slowly get out of the ring standing up. This time the ref’s counts restart, but this time to a count-out for Jared as JHalc’s already gotten back to his feet. Double J still looks a bit light headed and tired. Empress is trying to help him remember where he’s at right now. The Jack Of Hearts treads his way towards the Piece Of Eden though. With the way he walks, his knee doesn’t look too banged up from the fall which is good. He should just protect it from now on should Jared decide to target it. JHalc, being the risk taker he is, does another death defying move by slingshotting his way up the top rope and leaping with a crossbody. He lands on Jared and almost Empress(good thing she dodged). He takes a fall onto Jerusalem’s head which damages his ribs in particular a bit. The Jack of Hearts has his hands latched on to his ribs due to the pain. JHalc’s currently panting very heavily due to that risky move.

Joey Miles: Both these men know how to take risks. That’s how they work their matches. That’s how they wrestle.

Ted Cedar: Indeed, and we just saw JHalc took a risk and it did in fact work. These men are evenly matched.

With JHalc in control yet again he picks up his downed opponent and slides him in the ring, though he does it in a slow pace due to that high risk move. As the fans chant “JHalc” alone this time. They probably think the match is almost over. Jared’s now in the center of the ring, crawling on both hands and knees and looking dazed. The Jack of Hearts stands up on the top of the apron, this time he’s daring the Knockout King to get up on his feet. He’s got Jared Jerusalem in his sights as he jumps up onto the top rope. However The Tag Champ quickly rises and lunges towards the ropes, causing it to be pushed. JHalc takes a fall because of it. He looked like he landed his throat on the ropes there and then fell on the apron. He took a bad fall to the concrete as well, hitting the side of his head there. The official Ryu Sanu heads outside to check on JHalc if he’s alright. If he’s not he has to put a stop to this match. He checks on him and it seems that JHalc is alright... Well not alright, but he can still continue the bout. The ref returns to the ring and counts again.

JHalc barely gets himself up on top of the apron and gets interrupted by the cocky, Jared Jerusalem. Double J puts The Jack of Hearts’ arm over the back of his neck and goes for a suplex lift. JHalc uses his weight to keep him down though. Jerusalem goes for a second time, but gets dead weight again. JJ decides to hit JHalc across the forehead with a forearm then. It doesn’t send JHalc out of the ring but it rocks him a bit. The Hypocrite Hunter starts to get riled up, hopping like crazy and runs full speed towards the ropes. He ricochets and launches back towards the Jack of Hearts but the IC champ decides to springboard himself from the top ropes and leap as high as he can. He lands driving his signature flying fist on top of the head of Double J. JHalc’s on top of Jared and goes for the pin.

Kickout. So close was JHalc when he went for the pin.

Ted Cedar: How athletic was that huh? To be able to return to a vertical base and springboard to the top and landing and drilling on Jared Jerusalem. Did you see that how amazing was that Joey?

Joey Miles: Yeah Yeah! I know you don’t have to tell me that, I’m no idiot. I get your point, he’s good I’ll give him that. But D-Volution still sucks ass.

Fans begin to chant “This is Awesome” again for both men. But JHalc decides to sit his opponent up and wrap his under arm around his head and neck for a dragon sleeper. One of Jared’s arms wrapped around The Jack of Hearts as it happens. This submission move is a good way to take Jared out and if not, at least it will tire him down. The Piece of Eden seeming like he’s losing consciousness but uses his knee to beat the face and jaw of the  Jack of Hearts which causes him to let go. The kick stuns The IC Champ a bit. He staggers backwards causing the Piece Of Eden to be able to return to a vertical base, though a bit wobbly as he stands up. However JHalc grabs the Hypocrite Hunter who struggles with repeating brutal punches to the gut of the former tag champ.  The Jack of Hearts decides to put a stop to Jerusalem’s momentum by nailing him on the top of the head with a perfect elbow to the cranium. He irish whips the Knockout Kings, or as he would call it The Knocked up Queen towards the corner. He follows, racing to the Tag Champ on the corner but becomes the recepient of Jared’s elbow. The elbow causes him to stagger backwards. Double J quickly capitalizes and twists around. He hits a spinning elbow. It bumps JHalc hard, sending him falling dramatically down to the mat. As the camera takes a shot of Jared Jerusalem’s face, he seems very mad and filled with bed intent. His face glowing very red. He’s channeling some sort of out of this world energy from the chants of the crowd which have now finally shifted in his favor. He sets the Jack of Hearts back onto his feet and lifts him into an Irish Cross lift with one hand on wrapped around the leg part of JHalc aligned to Jared’s upper body, and the other on JHalc’s head. He lets go of the leg and jumps as high as he can. As both men fall, JHalc’s back and body land first on the mat in what Jared Jerusalem calls this finisher the “Destroya.” Jared Jerusalem goes for the pin and hooks the leg with a mix of excitement and fury evident in his facial features.

Kickout! Everybody in the sold out capacity can’t believe what’s just transpired. Yet again another unbelievable kickout. This time from The Jack of Hearts, JHalc. The Piece Of Eden, Jared Jerusalem looks like he’s about to rip his own hair off. Frustration’s setting in him too.

Ted Cedar: I can’t believe it! This is crazy! I didn’t think JHalc could kick out of the Destroya. This was the move that Jared used to put Riley Williamson, who wasn’t his partner at that time, through a table.

Joey Miles: This is more than just a match on the main card Ted. And it surely isn’t about D-Volution or Knockout Kings anymore. This is pure competition. These men want to best each other in wrestling. They want to prove who’s the better man.

Ted Cedar: These men are just throwing their bodies on the line. At this point, what do they have left really? Fans have been torn and shifting with who to cheer, they’ve been chanting “This is Awsome.”, but by God these men would go so far just to beat the other. You’re right Joey, this is pure competition. This is wrestling!

Jerusalem has superkicked JHalc, attempted the Walls of Jerusalem, hit the Destroya, it’s time to look for a plan B. The look on Jared’s face says it all. He’s frustrated and fatigued. It actually looks like there’s tears in his eyes. But not in a dramatic movie kind of crying. That would be ridiculous. He’s tearing up out of fatigue and quite frankly, it looks like he’s losing hope. He looks onward to Empress who starts pointing up the turnbuckles. The Current Tag Champion returns to his feet though looking drained out of much energy. He slowly makes his way to the corner and climbs the turnbuckle. He raises his arms up and starts clapping hard as a way to speed JHalc’s recovery. The effects of it actually work as The IC champ is barely getting up but he does it. As he returns to a vertical base, Jared launches off the top of the turnbuckle and lands a devastating missile dropkick onto his opponent. Which sends JHalc rattling back down in the direction of the opposite corner. Jared continues with the momentum despite obviously being very exhausted. The camera takes a close shot of Empress who actually has her hands closed together, making it seems like she’s praying. Well maybe she is. The Jack of Hearts pulls himself up with the assistance of the corner and both ropes. JHalc seems so weary and lightheaded that he can’t seem to notice Double J on the opposite corner. Jared looks like a bull about to charge on a red object, the only thing keeping Jerusalem from charging is his grip on the ropes. Well so much for that though as Jared lets go, sprinting full speed ahead towards his foe. He lunges at JHalc landing his torso and JHalc with an amazing running splash. Jared lifts up his adversary onto the top rope in a suplex lift. He follow up but starts receiving painful blows to the abdomen from The Jack of Hearts. Jared strikes back and puts the JHalc’s arm over his neck, lifting him up for a superplex towards the mat of the squared-circle. Both men start falling from the superplex but JHalc postpones it by landing on his feet. Not only that but did just run and hit a dramatic neckbreaker to Jared who was up on the second ropes, supposedly to hit the superplex. JHalc goes for the cover and hooks the leg. His head banging repeatedly in excitement for the taste of victory.

Kickout! The crowd with mix of cheers and “Noooos!” as The Piece of Eden has once again kicked out. Both of these men won’t let themselves lose.

Ted Cedar: How long must it take until one of these men gives!? They’re just throwing their body, heart and soul at each other. Who’s gonna give in.

Joey Miles: I can’t believe I’m actually enjoying a match between Riley Williamson and David Michael’s partners. I am ashamed of myself! Ah fuck it! I’m still watching.

JHalc still can’t believe it and is in a state of shock. One has to wonder if both men’s partners, David Michaels and Riley Williamson are watching very closely on their TV’s backstage. This time, these two have the spotlight on. The Jack of Hearts decided to grab one of Jared’s ankles and twist it repeatedly in and ankle lock. JHalc rises back to a vertical base and starts exploiting Jared’s leg. Jerusalem can’t do anything but yell in pain from the submission hold. The audience are screaming very loudly. This could be it. Not yet though as Jared rolls forward causing The Intercontinental Champion to stumble and trip forward. Not without grabbing JHalc’s ankle in the process. This time Jared’s the one locking in the ankle lock. Coincidentally on the leg of JHalc’s which has had a long history of injuries, specially on the knee area. Earlier JHalc took a fall that aggravated it a bit. This submission is gonna make it worse though and take it to a whole new level. This time it’s JHalc screaming in pain. The Jack of Hearts trying to reach the ropes to force a ropebreak. The crowd’s apparently going nuts. Jared seems to be able to reverse everything JHalc does and vice versa. He quickly lays himself on top of JHalc, locking his legs around the ankle that was targeted earlier and wrapping his arms around the cheeks & the bridge of The IC champ’s nose. He’s doing an STF! Jerusalem rarely used this submission, even when he was his past alter-ego’s. But when he used this, almost all the time, his opponents would tap. JHalc is in close proximity to the ropes but it doesn’t seem like he could move towards it. Suddenly the lights turn off. Everything, from the lighting to the titantron and minitron has gone dark. The commentators and fans are left in confusion. Ted and Joey presume that it’s just techinical difficulties and just stated the viewers on TV had to wait a while. The only thing keeping light is everyone’s phones but that didn’t help in making the men in the ring visible. Something’s not right.

Ted Cedar: They should have the lights back on by now. What’s happening? We’re actually in the middle of a great match.

Joey Miles: Look dumbass! The titantron!

Ted Cedar: Don’t call me a du---

The titantron lights back up into nothing but static. Like the ones people see on TV when there’s no cable. Even the sound is like it. Suddenly the static stops and it shows an intimidating figure of a man. Everyone recognized who that is and started booing their hearts out because of who this man is. Not only that, but it’s probably because he’s the reason there’s lights. It’s Dark Atlas member, Axel Anvil. Suddenly a spotlight turns on directed at Jared Jerusalem who has let go of the submission hold due to the light outage. His eyebrow raised in confusion as he’s sitting down staring at Axel Anvil who seems to be calling his name. He gets back up on his feet to listen to what The Hardcore Thunda from down Unda has to say.

Axel Anvil: Jared Jerusalem. Hell has arrived.... And it’s coming to wreck havoc on you. You better watch out.

Suddenly the titantron turns back to static for a few seconds, then all the lights return and the titantron’s back to normal.

Joey Miles: Oh no... Jared’s pissed someone off.

Ted Cedar: Well that was certainly strange..... OH WAIT! IT’S JHALC.

As Jerusalem turns around confused as hell. He meets an elbow driven from JHalc who was able to get a rest thanks to Axel Anvil. He looks less worn out as he hits that elbow, knocking down The Piece of Eden. The Jack of Hearts runs towards the ropes and jumps from the second one, flipping backwards into a moonsault. He lands the move completely on Jared’s torso. Causing him to clench in pain. The cocky look on the Intercontinental Champion’s face finally resurfaces. Ironically, it was his opponent who was able to fueled his cockiness again and pushed him to the limit. The Jack of Hearts begins stalking on Jared Jerusalem, waiting patiently for him to stand back up again. Camera takes its virtual eyes and glances at the girlfriend on Jared Jerusalem who’s face says it all. She possibly might be mouthing the words “Don’t get up.” However it doesn’t seem Jared can process those words along with thousands of fans in attendance screaming their hearts and lungs out. Jared, though woozy and wobbly, returns to his feet. This might be a bad choice for him, it could be the end. As he turns around, he is greeted by JHalc with a kick to the gut. He crosses Jared’s legs and lifts him up in a fireman’s carry, getting ready for another “Killing Joke.” This is definitely over if he hits the move. He drops the move Jared in front of him but some how Jared lands with his feet touching the floor. You see JHalc’s supposed to grab Jared’s crossed feet as it lands down, to hit the devastating “Killing Joke.” Somehow Jared was able to weasel his foot away and was able to step both of his feet on the mat before he was finished. The Self Proclaimed Savior of XWA suddenly flips backwards and hits his shin on top of JHalc’s head. That was a Pele kick! A move Jared used frequently as Suicide Viper but now less often. The fans get riled up because of how rare to get to see that move. He used to call that move “The Suicide Slash.” The move almost immediately sends The Jack of Hearts falling in the mat, unconscious in the middle of the ring. The arena begins shaking  because of fans clapping loudly and people slapping the barricade in front row. Though Jared’s laying down in fatigue. And though every limb and part of Jared’s body has probably had enough, the sound and vibe of the arena gives Jared Jerusalem the adrenaline rush that he needed. He closes one of his fists and starts shaking it as fast as how fast the fans clap. He gets back up on to his feet despite the exhaustion and paces himself near the downed D-Volution member. He then slowly removes his elbow pad from his arm and throws it at the direction to the titantron. Whether that was a message to Axel Anvil & Dark Atlas or if it was for the D-Volution members backstage is anyone’s guess. But right now this could only mean one thing. Jared’s mentioned on twitter about a new finishing move and this is probably it. After Jared tosses his elbow pad out of sight. He quickly runs towards the ropes and back again, this time to the ropes of the other side. He launches and ricochets back from it. As he gets back to JHalc’s unconscious body. He swings his arms left and right like a pendulum in a clock and twists himself on the way down to The Jack of Hearts, driving his chest with a vicious and fast elbow drop. That move is what he calls “The Kiss of Death.” He goes for the cover and hooks the leg without taking his eyes off the direction of the titantron.

Jared Jerusalem has picked up the win. The fans rise up onto their feet hopping, jostling each other for position while raising their signs in the air as Double J’s theme “The Past Should Stay Dead” plays. They are glad to have experienced seeing that match between two cocky egomaniacs who can back their words with actions. The Piece of Eden stands up tall as the victor of this match. He gets his hands raised by the ref but gets shooed away by Empress who raises his hands herself. The audience give a loud pop in respect for the great bout and a match that people thought would never end due to them kicking out multiple times.

Ted Cedar: What a match! I can’t believe how amazing this was. It was back and forth. People are going to be talking about this for a long time.

Joey Miles: Sad how Axel had to shit on everything and ruin the momentum.

Ted Cedar: Jared sure has his hands full. Worrying about his partner, his girlfriend, not to mention he has a title defense next week against D-Volution. Now he has Dark Atlas to worry about. Tune in next week on Vendetta to find out what’s going to happen. Next week it’s The Tag Team Champions, Knockout Kings versus D-Volution. God Bless Jerusalem.

The camera fades in commercial break to prepare for the next segment and the main event.

I got a request via PM like 8 hours ago for an extension for this match, which I think is within the realm of reason. This match is extended for 12 hours.
