Ahead of their Upfront event on May 14, Adult Swim have announced their 2014-2015 line-up -- which will now include a new live-action Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog series, starring Emmy-nominee Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) and the titular puppet.
The untitled Triumph/McBrayer sitcom will follow former child star Jack (McBrayer) of a popular Lassie-like series from the ‘80s and ‘90s, whose mouthy and crass co-star (Triumph) launched the two into a life of trouble. After 15 years, Jack retires from show business, only to be reunited with the toxically influential Triumph, much to Jack’s chagrin. Created by the Emmy-winning Robert Smigel (This Is 40) -- the voice of Triumph -- as well as Michael Koman (Nathan For You) and David Feldman (Dennis Miller Live), the series will premiere this fall.
