Adam Sandler's upcoming comedy Pixels has received a release date.
Starring Sandler, Michelle Monaghan, Kevin James, Peter Dinklage, and Josh Gad, the film will tell the story of a group of gamers who must protect New York City from videogame characters come to life.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced that the movie will premiere on May 15, 2015.
Chris Columbus is directing the film, which will open opposite Mad Max: Fury Road and Pitch Perfect 2.
Meanwhile, Sandler is poised for the release of several upcoming comedies this year.
In May of this year, he reunites with Drew Barrymore in the romantic comedy Blended.
