Operation Wolf is a light gun game that's far more fun to play without the light gun!!! Playing with The Zapper really takes all the fun out of this game. Using it just makes the screen look ugly every time you shoot. I don't know what the deal with that is. And you can't use grenades when you use The Zapper.

So basically while the screen moves you shoot at passing enemies, like you're playing Time Crisis. And like Time Crisis the enemies shoot back and kill you. You get a variety of enemies from soldiers, ninjas, patrol boats, helicopters and more! And there's power up you obtain by shooting squares. This game gets crazy but you can't go gun crazy or else you'll end up killing a prisoner or a medic. You get points for saving prisoners of war.

Operation Wolf isn't a classic but if you collect NES games I'd recommend getting it if you can find it cheap. It's a fun shooter you can play a bit in between other games.

I give this game a 6/10.

If I wanted to use a light gun I'd actually have to move my system to my sister's room or my Grandma's house. They don't work on plasma screen TVs Sad So no more Duck Hunt panic

I remember there being a Mario game that involved using a light gun. I couldn't play it cuz I lost the gun. Sad
