Those heels generally don't get heat.
They either get no response whatsoever or people chant "boring" or etc during their matches.

Yeah I don't think anyone in WWE gets the kind of heat.

It's the sort of heat Mike Bennett used to get because people thought he sucked.

That's the thing, though. If wrestling WASN'T scripted, then it would be a stupid thing to do because she would have to work her hardest to win the match. Her job is to look bad, but then look good when it actually matters i.e. the last few times she's lost match after match before a PPV and come the PPV, she retains the Divas title. Just like that.

A lot of people have rather annoying gimmicks in wrestling, but it's how she's managed at the end of the day.

I'm starting to watch RAW again and out of the two hours I watched the divas was the least compelling thing on the show. Not to my surprise BTW.

I don't think Vickie gets X-Pac heat. It's easier to boo a manager. Steve Corino was even able to get the crowd against him in ROH.

She used to, in the very beginning. It's died down some since everyone's had time to get used to her i think.

What the fuck are you talking about? If anything, heels WOULDN'T want this heat in 1997, when kayfabe meant something. Now, kayfabe means shit. Faces getting mixed reactions, heels getting 90% cheers (see: CM Punk in 2013), etc.

Because fan were booing the shit out of him even though he was a babyface. Same thing happened to Ron Garvin after he beat Flair for The World Title in '87.

Kayfabe means nothing if fans legit dont like you. Kayfabe meant nothing back in the day either, when wrestlers lives were in danger.

Kayfabe meant everything back then. Skandor Akbar was in danger every night he'd piss off a crowd but he wouldn't dare brake kayfabe to get out of it.

When actual riots happened they didn't say "Don't worry fans it's all fake anyway." No the heels would get the fuck out of town before they got killed.
