---BIOGRAPHY---
Spoiler:
In 2005, Greg started training with Pro Wrestling America in Maine. He made his debut in June, and shortly after his arrival in the actual wrestling promotion, he won the Hardcore Champion, and held on to it for the company’s longest reign. During his reign, he had some of his greatest fueds with the names of Xtreme Andy, and his future tag team partner, Anthony Johnson. Soon after losing the Hardcore Championship, Greg started tagging with former enemy Anthony Johnson. At a live event, Greg and Anthony beat The Xtreme Anarchists(Xtreme Andy and Bobby Anarchy) in a First Blood Match for the PWA Tag Team Championships. The two held the titles for a short time before Anthony left the company, causing them to Vacate the titles. Greg moved on to win the New England Championship a month after. Bobby Anarchy won the New England Championship off Greg, but Greg had received better opportunities, a shot against Teddy Patterson, for the World Title. His effort came up short to win the title, but his loss was via disqualification. In his rematch for the World Title, Greg was able to take the title. Greg held on to the title for a little while, before finding opportunity in the indy wrestling around the states. Greg went on to join the rosters of Created World Wrestling, Extreme Created Championship Wrestling, and Xtreme Championship Wrestling. Greg and Josh Polson took the CWW World Tag Team Championships from Super ZeroUno and Super Junior, but soon lost them back in a Parking Lot Brawl. Greg again found tag team success with “Wild Thang” Victor Jones, when they captured the ECCW Surrender Tag Team Championships, and held them for the last reign. Next Success for Greg again was in the Hardcore Division, as Greg captured his first singles gold outside of PWALive. Greg was able to capture the Xtreme Championship Wrestling Hardcore Championship, and hold it for longer than anyone else in the company. Next, Greg found himself again united with Anthony Johnson, and they were able to capture the CWW World Tag Team Championships, only to be stripped seconds later. Greg took time off from the three big feds, and won some smaller company titles including the EWE World Title, and the TDW Tag Titles. Greg returned to the three companies that made him, and found success on CWW’s third brand, TWN, winning the Xtreme Hardcore Championship, only to loss it seconds after, under 24/7 rules. In his first real World title success, Greg found himself winning the XCW D-Struction World Title, while still holding the Hardcore Title. He shortly after lost the Hardcore Title to Don Shinello. After holding the title for a month, Greg lost the title, and fell off of D-Struction. Greg appeared over on the other brand, Xplosion, and after a short while of running through opponents, Greg got a shot at, and won the Xplosion title, becoming the only man in company history to win both brand’s World titles. Greg later left all three companies to pursue a career in Xtreme Wrestling Association. Greg finally made it big time as he debuted in Xtreme Wrestling Association, defeating Harry McGuiness in a Dark Match on XtremeMania “Main Event”. At the night of nights, XtremeMania, in a Preliminary Match, Greg beat out the powerhouse Gage Norrel. Greg made his TV debut on Vendetta #22, losing to Sky Drifter, along with Kevin Blade in the match. Greg would see his stock rise quickly and found himself in two big matches. At InterPromotional Wars “Main Event” Greg lost to Cruiser-X Champion Jacob Moore. InterPromotional Wars was a big night for Greg, as he was in the Cage of Death, trying to earn a shot at the Hardcore Championship, only to lose to Mack On Vendetta #24, Greg snapped this losing streak, by beating the returning Kenyon. On the next Vendetta, it was announced that Greg would be in a match at Revolutionary Wars, where he would have to face CF Riley for the Vacated Pure Championship. Later that night, Greg lost to Xtreme Icon in an Hardcore Submission Match, where he would later receive 10 whips with the Singapore Cane. Greg lost the match for the Pure Championship. Greg signed a contract in Sudden Impact Wrestling were he found little success. After Revolutionary Wars, Greg got drafted to Mayhem. On his first Mayhem, Greg faced TJ Thunder in a Intercontinental Championship #1 Contendership Tournament, which Greg lost. On the last Mayhem of 2010, Greg defeated Intercontinental Champion Damon Brooks, and after the match, CF Riley attacked Greg. Greg won a 30 Minute Iron Man Match against CF Riley, becoming the Number 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Greg won the XWA Intercontinental Championship against TJ Thunder in a Hardcore Match that was also the first round of the King of Xtreme Tournament. Next in the tournament, Greg took down CF Riley inside the steel cage in the second round of the tournament, also putting him up 2-1 in the long time feud. Greg lost in the next round to Justin Angel in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match. Greg lost the Intercontinental Championship at In Your House, back to TJ Thunder. Greg took a hiatus and came back to the XWA, with the new name Greg Samuel. He lost his return match to the World Heavyweight Champion Spyke. Despite the loss, at In Your House Greg was put in a match to determine who would round out the main event of XtremeMania, against Kenny Kasual, which Greg won, to earn himself a spot in the Tower of Doom at XtremeMania against Spyke and Xtreme Icon, for the World Heavyweight Championship. Greg lost at XtremeMania and then jumped over to XWA’s second show, Desire to test the waters. Greg found little success on Desire and soon fizzled out. Greg soon returned to Vendetta and was put in a Triple Threat Match for a shot at the XWA World Title against Akira and Xtreme Icon. Greg was able to win the match and earned himself a shot at the title. Greg then went on a losing streak, losing to T.K., then Jaylon Brown, then JHalc. Greg would go into Revolutionary Wars and ultimately lose to the newcomer Ace Andrews, losing his shot at the World Championship. Greg fell off of Vendetta not much later. Greg joined 2 Worlds Wrestling Federation but found little success, despite Sebastian Crow, a man of similar stature, winning the Internet Championship. Samuel made his return to the XWA when on Vendetta 40 he came out during a beatdown of JHalc and Talia Lea by Ace Andrews, Razor Xtreme and James Best. Samuel then shocked the world by turning on JHalc and joining alliances with former enemy Ace, and forming The Elite. Next Vendetta he revealed himself to be the one behind the Guapo Martillo mask; the winner of a first round King of Xtreme bout the week before against E.G. Deal, and defeated AleXtreme in a Falls Count Anywhere Match in the quarter-finals of the King of Xtreme Tournament. Greg would then begin a feud with Phantasm, who turned out to be Danny Diamond. Greg lost in the semi-finals to Trace Demon at In Your House. Greg then won the Mayhem Million Dollar Chamber, winning the Million Dollar Championship, giving him a chance to cash in for a Mayhem World Championship shot whenever he wants. Greg feuded with Nate Insano, a feud that ended at XtremeMania where Samuel got the victory over the former World Champion. At Revolutionary Wars 4, Greg was suppose to face Ash Wheeler in a Million Dollar Championship unification TLC match, but before the match could take place, Wheeler was attacked and was unable to compete. Instead, Greg decided to cash in his chance in the main event against Mack and Kanimaniac in a TLC Match, but found himself on the losing end of that bout as well. Greg took a break from XWA to tour the Japanese and Mexican wrestling scenes before returning at Revolutionary Wars and declaring his intentions to win the vacant World Heavyweight Championship. Later in the night, Greg would defeat Patrick Moore and earn 5 points towards his goal.
