TBH, the crowd seems to also have taken a liking to him again. Esp. after his HIAC match. Unless, y'know, the crowd boos are being silenced and generic clips of cheers are being put in place again.

I am completely on board with Roman winning this time. Like Burdur said, he's ready. I've always liked Roman but he wasn't going to get anywhere with the ridiculous way they were booking him around WM time. Now he's had months of in-ring and character development and he's much better overall (despite his promos still being a bit goofy sometimes) - teaming with Dean and working with him is helping him in so many ways.

Plus, I see the potential in Dean turning on him and something of that nature, and I am excited at the idea of finally getting a Shield triple threat for the title. I see nothing wrong with this at all.

I think the Wyatt feud helped him a lot. As he was on mic most weeks, and it's really his only 3 month feud with a story and an active wrestler.

Reigns really only had a feud with Big Show wasn't much of one, and Brock Lesnar which was more so his road to Wrestlemania. So I think Bray has also given light on Roman.

I'm ok with Reigns winning the belt, but not yet. Rollins needs to hold it at least till WM, since he won't get the belt back for a year or so.

Honestly, I don't want him to, it's the only thing CM Punk has that WWE hasn't removed. I like Rollins, but that reign of Punks needs to stay.

He got cheered on one show.

The night before he was in a blow-off Hell in a Cell match and he got no reaction. If he continues to get cheers like he did in San Diego, sure, the crowd "turned" for the better... but far more likely is that it was an aberration, considering the last year of responses.

It's unlike WWE to be taking this long with officially announcing the match.

We know he's #1 contender. But is the #1 contender for Survivor Series? Or maybe he gets a random shot on Raw? Because there's still no image lol.

I don't know why they'd do the Number One Contendership match now if it wasn't for Survivor Series.

I remember something similar happened last year, where a World Title match was known and talked about, but not made official until the very last week before the PPV.

So now that there is an image, Rollins/Reigns is confirmed for Survivor Series officially.

We have five confirmed matches

None of which are a Survivor Series match. I'm guessing it's going to be like 1998 because of the vacant title and we won't see a Survivor Series Match. Although they have the perfect chance with New Day & Ascension vs. Usos, Dudley Boyz, and Ryback. But hey, whatever.

WWE recently announced that a traditional WWE Survivor Series match will be added to this Sunday’s pay-per-view. Match participants were not announced, but WWE.com posted the following:

One of the hallmarks of WWE’s fall classic — the Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match — will take place this Sunday, live on WWE Network at Survivor Series, WWE.com has learned. The match participants are not yet known at this juncture.

A staple of Survivor Series since the inaugural event in 1987, the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match is the ultimate battle of survival. Superstars can be eliminated individually via pinfall, submission, count-out or disqualification, and once a competitor is ousted, he must abandon his teammates and return to the locker room. The bout can only end when an entire team has been eliminated.

With the semifinals of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament now set, the WWE Universe is left to wonder which 10 Superstars will forge alliances and enter Atlanta’s Philips Arena to compete in Survivor Series’ namesake match this Sunday.
