TiqIQ noted this year’s Summerslam event in Brooklyn, New York is the most expensive secondary market WWE event on record (since 2010). TiqIQ added that the average price of tickets has an asking purchase price of $538.89.
Forbes also wrote (with TiqIQ contributing):
Since the start of 2010, no WWE event has had a higher secondary market average price than the current cost for this year’s SummerSlam, according to TiqIQ. Currently the average price for SummerSlam tickets is $538.89 with a get-in price of $238. Since TiqIQ started keeping track of secondary market data in 2010 just one other WWE event sported an average price above $500 – 2015’s Royal Rumble in Philadelphia at $500.44. That makes this year’s SummerSlam the most expensive WWE event on the secondary market by 7.7%.
