Alex Riley had his first match today in over a year and half at a house show. A-Ry hasn't been injured, just has been booked in a match. Alex Riley has been doing commentary for WWE since his last match for shows like NXT, Main Event, and Superstars. He also pops up in the pre-show panels normally along side Booker T. A-Ry has been teasing his return to the ring for sometime now on his twitter. Most of his tweets have been about how he feels like a caged animal, but no iron bars can hold his soul.

A-Ry, who is also known for being religious has been posting religious like tweets.
Such as

"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men."

" I understand that my Glory Walks Hand in hand with my Doom, but it is a path I must travel, now more than ever before."

Friends of A-Ry backstage have said that Riley has been itching to get back in the ring for sometime. However with Vince's statement about how he feels about the current roster has fired Alex up even more.

A-Ry has also tweeted that he has been training hard with Bill DeMott at the performance center for some time now.

Have I ever kept it secret that I am a A-ry fan? Anyways I have been following A-Ry on twitter for sometime now, the guy is dying to wrestle again. He has some much potential to be something and its a fucking shame WWE doesn't see it. The fact he hasn't wrestled for over a year is also a shame, the guy could be so much more. He has the look, he has the skills and he is good on the mic.

The match was Alex Riley vs Tyson Kidd. People on Twitter who went to the event said the two of them put on the best match of the name.

Good for him. I'm not A-Ry's biggest fan by any stretch, but if the guy wants to wrestle then they should let him. I never really got into any of his matches before, but he's better in the ring than he is on commentary or at the PPV sidebar.

He's kind of boring, though. Even if he's putting on the best matches of the night, he'll need something to his personality to help him get over. He just always came across like a watered-down Miz, and his entrance music was the most interesting about him.
