Ding, Ding, Ding!!

As the opening bell rings, neither competitor advances for a few long moments;

Riley’s and Alex’s eyes lock in a staredown for the ages. Yet it seems that for all the hatred he enjoys, Alex seems to find it difficult to maintain Riley’s ice cold stare, Alex looking away for a moment before advancing forward. Riley slowly advances as well, both combatants quickly looking to engage in a collar and elbow tie-up to start the match. Yet as soon as the lock up commences Williamson spins to his right and drops to a knee, completely a one hundred eighty degree spin that puts him behind Alex as he secures a rear waistlock. Alex shows his knowledge of advanced mat wrestling quickly however, reversing the waistlock and scooping up Riley for a quick belly to back takedown. Alex keeps Riley pinned against the canvas, keep the waistlock clenched tight around Mr. Center of Attention’s midsection as Riley struggles to escape. Williamson’s hands grip the former Three Time World Champion’s wrists as he attempts to break Alex’s grip but fails, instead pushing his way slowly back to his vertical base against the will of his opponent. With Riley on his feet and nearly breaking the waistlock, Alex attempts a second belly to back takedown but fails as Riley kicks furiously to throw off the former XWA World Heavyweight Champion’s balance. Dropping back down to his feet, Riley finally manages to break the waistlock and takes Alex’s left wrist in his hands, Riley spinning away from his opponent and aiming for an arm wrench. Yanking his arm free in the middle of it being twisted, Hitman takes Williamson by surprise as he suddenly advances and wraps both arms around Williamson’s midsection once again. With his arms locked around the Hardcore Champion quickly scoops The Floridan up and, spinning around quickly toward the center of the ring, plants Williamson with a powerful belly to belly takedown. With the air driven easily out of the opponent’s lungs, Hitman rises quickly and brushes his hands off as he taunts not only Williamson but the fans; a chorus of negativity meeting his antics. Riley rises to one knee as quickly as he manages to refill his lungs with air, looking somewhat stunned by the skills displayed by the former XWA World Heavyweight Champion. Returning to his feet Riley hesitates as Alex moves forward eagerly for another lock up attempt, Riley slowly accepting the invitation as he shoots forward. Pushing Alex back with sheer force alone before the collar and elbow tie up is even completely lock in, Alex presses Riley back into the near corner and doesn’t release him; this prompting Ryn Sanu to step in and break up the action. Alex gives Sanu an annoyed glare before begrudgingly obeying, backing away just enough to give him room to throw a powerful right hand at Riley. Riley spies the move coming however and ducks low, Alex stumbling into the corner and spinning around just for Williamson to smack him across the face with authority.

Ted:

I don’t think that was a Good Idea for Riley to do. That may have upsetted Alex even more..

Joey:

You think?!? Hitman Alex is no Bitch to be taking a Slap from a Nobody like Riley.

The vicious slap leaving Alex stunned for a moment is all Riley needs to continue his offensive, laying another vicious slap against The Highlight’s face that dazes him further. Stumbling to the left, Alex takes a third slap for good measures as he staggers lazily down the ring ropes before Williamson presses him against them around mid rope. Riley attempts the irish whip on Hitman Alex but Alex manages the reversal, aiming to take Riley’s head off with a short arm clothesline as he returns. But the challenger finally gets his chance to display some of his skills against him, baseball sliding through Alex’s open legs and rising quickly behind him. Hitman Alex spins quickly to meet his foe and Riley surprises him as he takes Alex off his feet with a spinning wheelkick to the jaw. Alex rises quickly to a seated position clutching his jaw before Riley crawls over and presses him to the canvas, covering him quickly as Ryn Sanu slides in for the early count.

2…

Kickout By Alex.

Williamson doesn’t seem bothered by the fact that Alex kicks out quickly, rising to his feet a hair faster than the champion and locking in a side headlock on his dazed foe. But once again Alex manages to show his advantage in mat wrestling as he quite easily breaks Riley’s grip and spins, catching The longest Reigning RSD Champion in a low grip around his midsection and hoisting him up onto his shoulder. Riley kicks wildly to avoid whatever fate Alex had planned for him and manages to roll over Alex’s shoulder, aiming for a sunset flip on The Highlight. But Alex maintains his balance and reaches down, grasp a handful of Riley’s hair and all but yanking him back to his feet; shoving The Former New Yorker with all his might into the near corner. Step forward with a lunge, Alex drives his shoulder into his cornered opponent’s rib cage. Rearing back Alex delivers yet another shoulder thrust in Williamson’s ribs, the strikes driving the challenger further and further into the turnbuckle. Stepping out and allowing Riley to finally move, Williamson stumbles along the ropes with his right hand along the top rope and his left against his midsection. Reaching down and clasping a hand around Riley’s head, Alex brings his opponent forward and slams Riley’s head off the approaching turnbuckle. With Riley dazed, Alex drives a forearm down across Williamson’s shoulder blades, The Floridan left doubled over in the corner while Ryn Sanu forces Alex back. Stepping back far enough to appease the XWA Official, Alex advances back to the corner quickly and repeats the turnbuckle slam, Alex then begins dragging Riley along the ropes to the next turnbuckle. With Williamson’s back to the turnbuckle, Alex steps in and drives a powerful boot to the seemingly targeted midsection of the challenger. Ryn Sanu steps in to break up the altercation but Alex manages a second boot before he allows himself to be forced away from the corner. After several moments of being herded away from his foe Alex brushes the referee aside and advances on Williamson once again, sending Riley across the ring with an effortless irish whip. Riley’s back hits the turnbuckle heavily and he staggers out of the corner right into the waiting grip of Mr. Center of Attention, Alex sending Riley back to the original corner with a second irish whip. Hardly waiting an instant, he then charges in after Riley but finds nothing but turnbuckle to greet him. As Alex charges in Williamson manages to shoot his legs out through the top and second rope, pulling himself just out of harms way as Alex finds the turnbuckle instead of his intended target. Clutching the top rope and throwing his upper body backward, Riley sends his legs upward and connects with both boots against The Anti-Hero’s face with a beautiful pendulum kick. Alex staggers away and Riley pulls the confines of the squared circle, catching his breath for only moments before he suddenly drops down and pulls the top rope with him as the Hitman charges in for a clothesline. With the top rope not there to stop him, Alex flips over the ring ropes and falls heavily to the padded concrete floor outside the ring.

Ted:

And just like that, Alex’s own momentum causes him to crash outside of the ring.

Joey:

It wasn’t Alex’s momentum, had Riley not pushed down the Top Rope, Alex would still be kickin Riley’s ass.

Watching carefully as Alex struggles to his feet outside the ring, Williamson waits until just the right moment to charge the near corner and leap to the second rope. Rebounding off the third ring rope, The Tag Team Champion fires himself over the top rope and crashes down upon Hitman with a springboard plancha that drives both men to the floor in a heap. And both men remain there for a long few moments, Williamson allowing himself some time to recover from the beating he’d sustained thus far while Alex struggles to shake the cobwebs from his head. Williamson is the first to return to his feet, wrapping his arm around the Neck of Alex as he pulls him up back to his feet as Ryn Sanu ring out count reaches six. Tossing Alex back within the ring, Riley climbs onto the apron before ascending to the top rope as Alex begins to rise once again. Watching carefully from his perch as The Hitman finally returns to his feet once again, Williamson leaps just as Alex turns his way, The Anti-Hero ducking underneath his flying opponent and coming up behind him. The Floridan Native spins quickly upon landing, just in time to duck Alex’s clothesline attempt but not fast enough to dodge the secondary clubbing forearm across the shoulder blades. Ryn Sanu moves in quickly as Riley struggles to even pull himself up to his hands and knees, heavily disoriented by the powerful clubbing blow to the back. Alex allows himself to be herded away once again, taking a moment to catching his breath before moving in quickly and stomping down hard against Williamson’s left shoulder. Before Alex can do any further damage to his downed opponent however, Sanu steps in once more, forcing Alex to steps away as he checks on Riley. Alex looks down at Riley with a slight grin as Ryn Sanu finally allows him to continue the match, Hitman does something that no one in the arena had expected as he steps to the near corner and begins to ascend the turnbuckle. Looking back with each step he takes toward the top rope, The Man That Steals The Show, looking to prove why that is one of his Nicknames, slowly begins to dawn a satisfied grin as Williamson remains on his back far enough away from the turnbuckle for Hitman to attempt his stunning plan. Reaching the top rope Hitman looks back one final time before standing straight up and leaping from the top rope, performing a perfect backflip in midair and comes crashing down on The Hardcore Champion with a picture perfect moonsault. The Arkansas crowd is utterly stunned as Hitman shakes off the effects of the rarely utilized maneuver, before reaching out and hooking the leg with Ryn Sanu sliding in for the count.

2..

Kickout by Riley

Going from utterly silent to stunning obnoxious within seconds, the capacity crowd filling the Verizon Arena goes ballistic as Williamson forces his shoulder off the canvas after the two count. Hitman slowly pulls himself up to his knees, looking at Ryn Sanu in disbelief as Riley rolls from the squared circle and struggles to pull himself up with the aid of the ropes on the apron. Barely finding it within himself to not argue the call further with Ryn Sanu, a stunning opportunity draws the remainder of Hitmans attention toward Riley Williamson as he slowly climbs to his feet upon the apron. With a sinister grin slowly dawn on his face, The Highlight charges to the far set of ring ropes and repels against them, Hitman slam his shoulder against Williamson’s and sending him off the apron and to the floor. Mr. Center of Attention looks pleased with himself as he steps to the center of the ring, screaming at the top of his lungs.

“I Cannot Be Stopped!!”

1.

2..

Finally pulling himself away from the Hitman, Ryn Sanu quickly moves to begin proper match procedures as he begins to count the challenger out. Hitman however, now free of Sanu constant badgering, moves to the ring ropes and steps out to the apron, Alex watching carefully as Riley crawls to where he thought was away from Hitman. Hitman approaches carefully as Riley pulls himself up to one knee, but not carefully enough as Riley launches an elbow into Alex’s stomach to send him back a step. Find his footing Riley steps up to his feet and drives a second and then third elbow into the midsection of Hitman Alex. Ryn Sanu restarting his ring out count and rising quickly.

2..

3…

Stepping forward once again as Hitman backpedals, Riley connects with a fourth elbow this time to the jaw; the powerful strike staggering Alex back until he falls against the steel steps.

4….

Taking a moment to replenish the oxygen supply in his lungs, Riley lines himself up with Hitman as Riley remains against the steel steps. Williamson charging in only to find Alex one step ahead. Hitman twists his feet around Riley’s and sends Williamson’s ribcage into the steps with a drop toehold.

5…..

Hitman pulls himself up and looks down as Riley writhers in pain, howling as his ribcage throbs from the connection with solid steel. But as he hears Sanu call the count of five, MR. Center of Attention makes it a priority to return to the squared circle, become quite certain that Williamson would not make the count.

6……

7…….

Ted:

Riley may not make it back to the Ring if he doesn’t quickly gather himself together.

Joey:

Hitman Alex may be the one gaining Momentum towards The Big Ass American Bash!

As Ryn Sanu counts eight Alex hoists his right arm into the air and stops watching Williamson quite as closely as he should, Mr. Reasonable Doubt all but certain that his victory was secured. Yet as he turned away from his foe, Riley Williamson forced his way back to his feet; Riley sliding under the bottom rope just before Sanu can call nine. His arm still held high, Alex slowly begins to realize the sudden cease in Ryn Sanu count and turns to the referee to demand an explanation. Mr. COA finds one instantly as he sees Riley Williamson within the squared circle, the challenger leaning himself up in the far corner. A dissatisfied frown slowly grows upon the face of The Bronx Native, just moments before he charges across the ring at his all but defeated opponent, Alex coming up short as he looks for a corner clothesline. The Hardcore Champion manages to roll to his right at the last second, grasping the situation quickly after the dodge and following up by applying a sleeper hold on Alex as he stumbles out of the corner. But Williamson seems to fight through the pain as he attempts to ground Alex while the sleeper hold is locked in. Standing a good five inches taller than the champion, Hitman’s lower center of gravity allows him to remain standing however and The Hardcore Champion adjusts his strategy on the fly, Williamson leaping up and locking on a weak pair of leg scissors around Hitman Alex’s midsection. And yet still Alex manages to remain upon his feet, though the loss of oxygen becomes quite apparent quickly, Hitman staggering around with Williamson on his back yet oriented enough to spin around and plant Alex into a corner, breaking the hold. With Riley’s grip loose, Alex steps forward and flips The Floridan up and over his shoulder, Williamson rolling through and coming out on one knee facing Alex. While Riley is able to roll through the flip, Alex manages to make it back to a vertical base first; an advantage he takes full use of as he drives a kick in Williamson’s midsection and locks in a front facelock. Spinning quickly to the side, Hitman drops Riley to the canvas with a swinging neckbreaker but maintains his facelock even after the pair hit the canvas. The effects of the maintained front facelock become quite apparent quite quickly as Williamson’s arms begin to go slightly limp, even as The Hardcore Champion forces his way quickly back to a vertical base. Riley’s feet slip multiple times as the blood flow is slowly cut off but manages to make it to both feet before Alex presses him back firmly into the near corner. Ryn Sanu moves in quickly as Williamson touches the ropes. But Alex Refuses. Ryn Sanu warns Alex to release the facelock a second time but gets the same definitive answer from Hitman, thus beginning a disqualification count. He reaches to the count of four before he finally breaks his grip and backs away, XWA’s Senior Official quickly stepping in to admonish him for refusing to release his submission hold. After nearly five seconds of pretending to care Alex simply brushes past the referee again as he advances toward Williamson once again, Riley Williamson stunning him as he steps out and delivers a vicious punch right across the face of the Hitman. The sudden strike staggers Alex and sends him stumbling backward, dazed while Williamson nearly collapses in the corner.

Ted:

What a Punch! I wouldn’t be surprised if Hitman lost a Tooth from that…

Joey:

Riley may not be fighting back anytime soon, the guy looks like he is just running on pure instinct…

The exhaustion takes a horrid toll of Williamson’s game plan as well, Riley unable to follow up as Alex recovers and steps forward, driving a boot straight into Riley’s midsection. Doubled over, Williamson can hardly prevent Alex from scooping him up and placing him on the second rope, Alex climbing the turnbuckle after his prey. The Bronx Native looks to apply a front facelock from the top turnbuckle, only for the man he thought was prey to strike back, Williamson firing off three lightning quick punches into Alex’s midsection. Alex drops from the turnbuckle back to the floor and Riley sends him away with a powerful kick to the face before he stands straight up, waiting for Alex to turn back his way. As Alex turns, Riley leaps, shooting out both feet and connecting with a perfect missile dropkick from the second rope; both men crashing down on the canvas and remaining there for several long moments. Clutching at his ribs tenderly, Riley Williamson slowly begins to pull himself to his feet while the Highlight remains down for the moment. Riley beginning to clap his hands together over and over as Alex begins to rise. The capacity crowd here in Arkansas quickly begin to lend their support, clapping their hands with Williamson as The Hardcore Champion sucks air; waiting until just as Hitman Alex reaches his vertical base to fire the first punch. The straight right hand catches Alex in the jaw and sends him staggering backward, Riley following it up with a second, third, and fourth for greater effect. With Mr. Center of Attention dazed, Williamson charges the ropes and returns with a powerful crossed forearm block that sends Alex to the canvas with little effort. Alex climbs back to his feet in a hurry however, not to be outdone by a man who could only hope but to damage his opponent before there Match at The Big Ass American Bash, charging straight for Williamson before he even turns. Yet the instincts and reflexes of Riley Williamson save him from doom once again as he spins just in time to drop his body and catch Alex’s leg. Sending Mr.COA dropping onto the second rope with a drop toehold, Williamson returns to his feet and see’s the advantage in an instant. Knowing it against the rules but no longer inclined to care, Riley Williamson steps up onto the shoulder blades of the Hitman and begins to choke him out with the ring rope! Ryn Sanu does his job and does it well, quickly starting the disqualification count as Riley breaks the rules for a brief moment, jumping down from Alex’s shoulders at three. But when Sanu goes to admonish him for underhanded tactics, Williamson ignores him as he leaps over the ropes to the apron, just as Alex rises to his feet. With his back to the challenger, Alex’s upper back is dropped down against the top rope and Alex is shot back toward center ring. Landing on the floor, Riley makes his way quickly to the ring steps and ascends to the top turnbuckle. Williamson clutching Hitman in a front facelock as the dazed stumbles into the corner. But Hitman fights back before Riley Williamson can make use of his sudden ground advantage, driving two powerful forearm shots into Riley’s ribcage to shatter his grip. Free from Riley’s clutches for the moment, Alex stumbles backward in his stupor, unable to capitalize on Riley’s temporary opening. Or what he thought was one.

Ted:

Riley looking to put Alex away with some type of submission move but the former World Champion isn’t letting him

Joey:

Like the Snake that he is, Alex is a clever man. He knows what he is doing, and knows what does it take to get the Job done.

Failing to get the tornado DDT off properly from the turnbuckle, Riley watches carefully as Hitman stumbles away and times his entire leap as perfectly as he can, utilizing Hitman’s believe of temporary safety to his advantage. As Hitman turns to face him once again, Williamson leaps from the turnbuckle with astounding timing, Riley Williamson catching Hitman in midair with a front facelock, his body already swinging around for the tornado DDT. Hitman Alex connects with the canvas with such force that his body not only flips up to a seated position but falls forward over itself in a heap. The Tag Team Champion is back to his feet in nearly an instant, his eyes wide and his arms held out as he begins to stalk the self- proclaimed “Mr. Reasonable Doubt” the fans are now heavily behind Riley Williamson! Riley waits for Alex to get up and just about a few seconds, does. Pulling himself up on all fours Alex pushes up from the Mat and slowly turns around and Riley acts quickly and flips The Hitman up onto his shoulders. The shock slowly his reflexes, Riley is poised as he does a 150 spin, he looks to put away Alex with his Finisher, The Torrential Drop (F5) but Alex jumps off of Riley’s shoulders and lands on his Feet! The Crowd gasps and when Riley goes to turn around, Alex quickly turns with his back turnt against Riley and his arm wrapped around the Front of Riley’s neck, leaps up into the Air and hits his Finisher Move, The HKO!

Ted:

Oh My God, What a Counter! Riley looked to put Alex away with his Finisher, The Torrential Drop but Alex quickly counters the Move into with his own Finisher!

Joey:

And now you know why he is a Three Time XWA World Champion, Ted. ..No wait, What the Hell?! Alex! Turn around!

As Alex sits up and slowly turns around, Riley can be seen rolling underneath the Bottom Rope falling onto the outside of the ring. This causes Alex to throw a tantrum as he hits the mat with his bare fists several times “Shit! Shit! Shit!”- He thinks to himself before sliding out underneath the Bottom Rope and out of the ring. The Referee starts to count while both Men remain out.

Alex slides into the ring breaking up the count and goes for a Cover.

2…

2 ¾ …..

Riley reaches out and places a hand onto the Bottom Rope breaking up the Count.

Alex sits up and places his head onto his hands and tries to gather himself for a few seconds before quickly getting back up to his feet and turning around to Riley. Reaching down and grabbing onto the arm of Williamson, he pulls his body up like a Rag Doll and onto a wobbly vertical base. Hitman then wraps his arm around the Neck of Williamson and tries to put him away with The Snake Bite (Rockbottom) But Riley yet, undeterred delivers a few elbow shots towards the Jaw of Hitman. A few more for good measure, and Alex let’s go holding his Jaw in agony Alex goes against the Ropes and tries to regain himself while Riley’s eyes drop to Alex as Mr. Center of Attention begins to pull himself away from the Ropes and dark intentions begin to well within the mind of Riley. As Alex turns, Riley lifts him up and onto his shoulders before doing a 150 degree spin, Alex’s body flies off of Riley’s shoulders and lands onto the Mat successfully hitting, The Torrential Drop! (F5) Riley drops down and rolls Alex’s body over, going for a cover.
