Whilst they all may have lost, these men have an incredible opportunity as the reinstated XWA Lionheart Championship is up for grabs. Being the Lionheart Champion is no easy task as one of these three men will have to defend the belt in every match from here on out, until they are defeated. It takes a certain calibre of superstar to hold on to the Lionheart Championship and James Carlisle, Mark Storey and Azrael want to prove that they are that calibre of superstar. The three men stand at equal distance from each other as the bell rings, starting the match.

DING! DING! DING!

With the start of the match, Mark immediately falls to the canvas and rolls under the bottom rope, exiting the ring. Carlisle walks towards the ropes, closely followed by Azrael as they watch what Mark is up to. However, Azrael clobbers James on the back of the head, knocking him down with a hard forearm and begins to stomp the life out of him. With his opponents preoccupied, Mark hops back onto the apron in from of Azrael, but receives a punch to the jaw for his efforts, sending him to the floor below! Azrael stomps James twice more, whilst Mark sits with his back towards the ring, before grabbing James and pulling him to his feet. Upon reaching a stance, James counters his way out of the hold, and side-steps around Azrael, locking in a waist lock and then hauling him high into the air with a huge German Suplex! The crowd cheer for their maniacal hero as he executes the suplex perfectly, and continues to hold the waist lock and gets to his feet, bringing Azrael with him. With Azrael in place, James heaves Azrael up into the air again and connects with another big German Suplex. Breaking his hold, James starts to get to his feet and notices Mark’s head sticking up over the ring apron. “The New Knockout King” ducks between the top and middle rope and all of a sudden has a Kendo Stick cracked across his face! James goes limp and falls backwards, a small cut already formed on his forehead. Immediately, “The Man with the Plan” Mark Storey, stands up and enters to ring, kendo stick in hand. The referee can only watch as Mark takes advantage of the no disqualification rules, as he dashes towards Azrael as he stands, and drives the Kendo Stick right into his gut! Azrael doubles over immediately, putting him in quite a precarious position, allowing Mark to lash the stick over his back! Azrael arches his back in pain and falls to his knees, before lying face-first on the canvas, after the stick snaps over his back! Mark throws the broken half of the stick down and exits the ring as James Carlisle stirs.

Ted Cedar: “It’s clear that Mark is upset with losing last week. He is taking FULL advantage of the no disqualification stipulation in this match.”

Joey Miles: “Storey just doesn’t give a fuck anymore! I love it, Maggle!”

The crowd boo Storey as he lifts the ring apron and pulls out a steel chair. Meanwhile, James is seen kneeling, he swings one knee in front of his body and starts to use it to push himself to his feet. Quickly, Mark re-enters the ring and frantically makes his way to James, swinging the chair up and over his head, in prime position to then force down on top of James’ back! The sound of the steel hitting Carlisle’s back can be heard throughout the arena as he falls back down to one knee and tries to minimise the pain. Mark holds the chair in one hand as he stares down at James, his eyes filled with rage. All of a sudden the chair is ripped from his hand, causing him to turn around and receive the top edge of the chair right in the stomach! Mark grasps his gut and bends over, yelling in pain, whilst Azrael sets the chair up, as if he were to sit on it, and places it under Mark’s face. As soon as Mark realises there’s a chair in front of his face, he tries to stand up, but Azrael grabs his head and smashes his face off the cold seat of the chair! Over and over again he smashes Mark’s face making the chair bend a little with his Ravage signature move, leaving Mark laying with his face on the opened chair. Azrael relishes in the punishment he has just dealt out, allowing him to fall victim to a huge running lariat from a recovered James Carlisle! Azrael hits the canvas back-first, but James isn’t finished as “The Best Seller” runs to an adjacent rope, rebounds and then leaps into the air, coming down right on Mark’s head with a jumping double stomp! Mark’s perfect face is smashed through the chair, breaking it completely. James stumbles, trying to regain his footing. He wipes his head, getting rid of the little trickle of blood, courtesy of the cut given to him by Mark, as his foe turns onto his back slowly, in pain, revealing a cut of his own on his forehead!

Ted Cedar: “I bet Mark regrets bringing that chair into play now! I think he thought he was dealing with an old version of James. This is James Carlisle, he has no problem in dishing out brutality.”

Joey Miles: “Fuck Carlisle. He was a nobody in 2WWF, and his a fucking nobody here too.”

James pushes the broken chair to one side then covers Mark for the first pin attempt of the night, beckoning the official. ONE! TW-NO! Azrael re-enters the fray punching James in the back. James tries to stand, elbowing his way up as Azrael rains punches onto his foe. With all this going on, the third man, Mark, starts to roll out of harm’s way, back to the bottom rope and under it, jumping down to the floor below once again. James gets to his feet and pushes Azrael out of the way. With some distance between the two superstars, Azrael looks to close the gap, sprinting towards James and planting his knee into his gut, he tries to take advantage, applying a headlock on James to lift him into a suplex, but James blocks it and replies with a suplex of his own. The impact of the move allows both men to return to their feet quite quickly, which sees James attempt a side headlock on Azrael, but Azrael swivels out of it and grabs James’ wrist and applies a wristlock! With the wristlock applied, “The Bastard Son of Babylon” transitions into a short-arm lariat takedown, but with a lot of power, akin to a clothesline from hell! Azrael’s Here’s Johnny signature move is scouted by Carlisle as he ducks under the oncoming attack, then stops and turns to his foe, who he quickly forces to face him and instantly drops him with a massive Ace Crusher! “The Unpredictable” connects with a massive Writer’s Block signature move of his own, which sees him stand up and bask in the glory of cheers from the crowd, which oddly turn to boos. Perplexed and quickly angered by why the fans would now start to boo him, James is completely unaware that Mark Storey had slid back into the ring behind him, with the XWA Lionheart Championship removed from its pedestal!  James, in a rage, looks all around him, inadvertently turning face-first into Mark’s path, allowing Mark to clobber him with the championship! The small gut turns into a more free-flowing one, as James’ blood soils the front of the Lionheart Championship before James hits the canvas hard. Mark drops the titles and notices Azrael on all fours, right away Mark grabs the small of the neck and hem of Azrael’s trousers and throws him out of the ring. Mark then turns and falls down on top of James in one swift motion as the referee dives to the mat! ONE! TWO! THREE! Just as the third count is made, James instincts kicks in and he kicks out, but it is a fraction of a second too late. Mark fumbles to his feet as “Dies Irae” plays over the sound system. He grabs the belt when he does so and runs past the referee, dropping to the mat and rolling out of the ring. He starts to make his way backwards up the ramp, as the referee rushes to meet him, holding his hand up in victory!

Joey Miles: “HAHA! FUCK YES FERRET! LOOK AT THAT, MARK IS CHAMPION! MARK! IS! THE FUCKING! CHAMPION! LOOK AT THOSE FUCKING LOSERS!”

In the ring we see an irate James, who punches the canvas and stares at Mark as he walks up the ramp, whilst outside of the ring Azrael stands leaning against the barricade, holding the small of his neck and watching Mark leave on the big screen. Mark has gained his first taste of XWA gold through cheating and leaving incredibly abruptly.
