According to F4WOnline.com, the backstage incident involving Alberto Del Rio slapping another WWE employee did in fact take place, and Del Rio is legitimately no longer with the company.

After the WWE Twitter account continued to blame Del Rio for his actions, and Triple H re-tweeted the WWE comments, there was speculation the entire thing is a work, however that is not the case, and Del Rio is actually gone from the company.

Del Rio has remained silent on Twitter since the incident took place.

Either way, WWE probably wasn't too upset about it anyway. They knew about his plans of when his contract expires by the end of the year that he was going to back to Mexico anyway.

^That and also anything (or mostly anything) that makes you say "If this is a work, then WWE is doing it right" is definitely not a work. WWE isn't that smart, and we all know it.

^ This is the same company who had people thinking Daniel Bryan's firing in 2010 was a work, as well as Punk's walking out. There are still tards that believe both of them are still fake to this day.
