[Ding! Ding! Ding!]

Cedar:
This one looks a little lopsided on paper, but remember Carnage has yet to actually do anything in XWA despite his size.

Miles:
I bet this kid dropped one in his pants when this seven foot tall sack of shit accepted this open challenge.

Jaxson Phoenix stands back in his corner, staring at the large man across the ring from him. Carnage has more than 100lbs and at least a foot in height on his opponent, which isn't terribly far from usual for him. With a smile on his face, Carnage steps out of the corner, and proceeds across the ring before the referee cuts him off. Phoenix hasn't stepped out of his corner yet, and with a hand on each side of the ropes next to him, he was quite literally, untouchable. As expected, once that is brought to Carnage's attention, he finds it to be hilarious. He points at his opponent and laughs heartily before holding up his hand with his index finger and thumb close to touching, indicating how small Phoenix appears to him. The laughter seems to get a rise out of Phoenix. He comes storming out of the cornering screaming, "I'm Mr. XWA" and takes a swing at Carnage. The shot doesn't reach the bigger man though as he bats it away and then places his hand on the smaller man's head. Phoenix takes swings at the big man's midsection but none of them come close to hitting Carnage as he is holding Phoenix away further than his reach. The younger man, steps back and bats the giant's hand away before trying another assault. He backs up towards the ropes, gaining space to pick up speed and then sprints towards the man twice his size. Carnage, still wearing a smile, raises his boot to level his attacker, but it misses its target when the shorter newcomer ducks under it. Phoenix runs through to the other side behind the slower man and leaps up to the ropes. He dead weights once both feet make contact with the middle rope, stretching it down as far as he can before propelling himself backwards. Carnage turns to locate his opponent, just as Phoenix is leaping back from the ropes. The smaller man spins in the air and outstretches his feet for the chest of the giant, hitting him perfectly with a dropkick that sends him stumbling backwards. Phoenix hits the mat back first and immediately sits up to plot his next move. Bad news for him comes in the form of a solid boot to his own chest as Carnage comes rebounding forward after falling back against the ropes. The kick forces the smaller man to his back in the middle of the ring. Carnage flashes some quickness of his own, sprinting over to the adjacent ropes and picking up momentum by rebounding off of them. He comes to the center of the ring where his adversary lies, and leaps into the air, attempting to drop one of his massive legs across the man's throat. Phoenix avoids contact though, sitting up and pushing himself away as the Carnage drops to his backside hard on the mat. Jaxson is up to his feet in a flash. He takes off running towards the same ropes that Carnage just came off of. He gets speed coming off of them and then dives over Carnage, who is sitting on the mat still. Phoenix sends a heavy kick to his opponent's back and then leaps forward with a front flip, hooking the larger man's head and bringing it down in a cutter like maneuver as Carnage tries to get to a knee. With the giant cut down to size, Phoenix rolls him onto his back and attempts to pin him to quickly end the match.

Cedar:
Wouldn't have expected anything other than that.

Miles:
The fucker is going to need a damn dump truck to hold his big ass down on the mat for a three count.

A powerful kickout sends the smaller of the two wrestlers into the air. He gets the tips of his toes on the mat, trying to catch himself, but doesn't succeed before plummeting face first into the mat as Carnage sits up. Jaxson isn't content to watch the control in the match shift away from him though. He pushes himself up from the mat as hard as he can and dives towards Carnage, who has yet to get up from his knees, hooking his arms around the man's neck and locking in a sleeper hold. Carnage struggles forward as Phoenix adjusts his grip and really gets the hold to sink in, despite the size difference. However, that doesn't mean the size difference didn't still come into play. The giant leans forward, allowing the grip to tighten on his neck, but lifting his opponent off of the mat. Carnage puts his own hand on the mat in front of him and then gets his feet up, planting his foot on the mat with his adversary now hanging in the air. Jaxson isn't taken totally by surprise, as he moves to hook his legs around the tree-like man's body for support. Carnage continues to move upright. By planting his second foot on the mat he is able to stand up straight in the center of the ring. The look on Jaxson's face says how hard he is trying to choke the life out of his opponent. Carnage's face has turned a bright red from oxygen deprivation, but the smile is still there. He takes three running steps forward and then spins around slamming Phoenix, back first, into the turnbuckles and breaking the hold on his neck. Jaxson catches himself with each hand grabbing the top rope. He manages to stay on his feet while the big man takes a couple of deep breaths. With fresh air filling his lungs he takes off at a sprint directly across the ring. He hits the turnbuckles on the opposite corner, before picking up a head of steam back across the ring. He jumps up into the air with his arms outstretched, splashing, well crushing rather, Jaxson in the corner under his weight. The crowd roars to life in ovation as Carnage backs up. Phoenix staggers forward out of the corner and Carnage latches onto his neck with both of his large hands before powering the smaller man into the air. With quick footwork he turns towards the center of the ring and drops Mr. XWA with a choke-powerbomb out of the reach of any ropes. He throws his upper body across Phoenix and waits for the referee to slide in for the count.

Miles:
Another couple of moves like that and a pinfall will just be academic.

Cedar:
Joey I think that may be the first time you have completed a sentence without cursing.

Miles:
Eat a dick, fatass.

Phoenix is able to roll a shoulder up, an impressive feat considering the giant laying on top of him. Carnage sits up with a smile that says he was impressed, but grabs the smaller man by the back of his neck as he tries to roll away to catch a breather. Carnage gets up, dragging the smaller man with him. He gets his feet planted on the mat and tries to take the man back down to the mat with an elbow to the back of the head, but gets caught with an elbow that is dreadfully close to a low blow from his opponent before his shot can connect. Phoenix again throws an elbow, this one even closer to being below the belt, but causing the desired effect of Carnage releasing his grip. Jaxson is quick to get up, sprinting towards the closest ropes while the giant staggers. Carnage sees little more than a flash before Phoenix takes his right leg out from under him with a dropkick to his knee. The big man falls to his good knee in the center of the ring and Jaxson lets the momentum fuel his offense. He fires a right hand to his opponent''s jaw and then a second to the temple. Carnage succeeds momentarily by shoving him away, but the distance is closed immediately by Phoenix running to him, leaping up off of Carnage's outstretched knee to propel himself up into the air before coming down with a superman style punch that sends Carnage down to his back on the mat. He tries to cover the mountain of a man, but Carnage shoves him off and tries to roll away. He pushes up from the mat and gets up to a single knee, but Jaxson is already back on the offense. On his feed he takes a step towards him and shoots his right leg into the air, sending a boot into the jaw of Carnage with his Aresto Momentum superkick. The big man falls lifelessly to the mat, and Jaxson covers. He tries to hook his opponent's leg, as it is within reach of the ropes, but cannot lift it. He fights with it for a second before giving up as the referee slides in to count the fall. Before he can even slap the mat the first time, Carnage gets his foot up on the bottom rope, breaking the pin. Phoenix looks more irritated with himself than the situation, and spins around on the mat, getting to the opposite side of Carnage, putting his body between the gargantuan and the ropes, he pushes him away with all his strength and Carnage finally rolls away. Not content to go for an immediate second pin attempt, he sprints to the ropes of the opposite side and leaps up to the second one before backflipping and landing chest to chest with Carnage smack in the middle of the ring with a lionsault. He doesn't bother trying to hook the leg given his previous struggles. The referee moves around into position and slaps the mat hard.

Cedar:
I thought he may have had him there, that was some impressive offense.

Miles:
I already told you that he is going to need a dump truck....

Carnage kicks out, but without the flash of power from the first pin attempt. He pushes Jaxson away and rolls onto his side. The referee inserts himself between the two to make sure that the larger of the two is still prepared to defend himself. However, Phoenix has other plans. He pushes the referee away and sends a stiff kick to the back of Carnage's head. The big man's head bounces off of the mat creating a sort of double impact. He goes for another, but this time it is the referee that shoves him out of the way, and then gets in his face screaming something about respecting the zebra shirt. Carnage uses the time granted to him through the exchange to get himself up onto his knees. Jaxson rolls his eyes at the official and moves past him as he finishes his rant, to find his opponent trying to get to his feet. Carnage didn't quite have the time to find his vertical base though. Phoenix runs at him and throws his right leg up for a boot to the chest, but the big man catches it and thrusts him backwards with all of his strength. Jaxson comes up off the mat and does a full backflip in the center of the ring before landing on all fours. The show of strength neither surprises him, nor catches him off guard. Instead of fretting about it, he sprints forward as fast as he can. This was what Carnage was hoping for though, he throws himself forward, diving from his knees and cuts the smaller man in half with a spear that draws an immediate ovation from those in attendance. The big man of D-Volution pops up from the mat, shaking the cobwebs out of his head and looking down at the damage done. The fans know well enough how he likes to follow that particular maneuver. He reaches down and scoops up the man roughly 2/3 his size and hooks his arm around his neck as if for a regular suplex. He grabs Phoenix's pants by the waist. He powers the smaller man up into the air, but Jaxson's momentum doesn't stop as he reaches the peak of his trip. He kicks his legs and Carnage loses his grip, allowing the smaller man to fall backwards, behind him, and land on his feet on the mat with a counter. Jaxson seems surprised at his reprieve from what could have been the end of the match-up, but doesn't waste any time. He reaches back over his shoulder and hooks Carnage's head before dropping to his backside on the match with a reverse cutter style neckbreaker. Carnage drops to his backside and leans forward with his head in his hands. Phoenix is up in a flash, only missing a beat to clutch at his midsection, blocking out the pain. He runs to the adjacent ropes and rebounds back. He comes off of his feet as he nears this giant target and leaps with a knee extended towards his head. Phoenix was looking for the Burning Knee Kick, but comes up with only air before falling to his ass on the mat.

Miles:
Holy shit he avoided contact!

Cedar:
I think we all thought Carnage was done for.

The big man struggles to his feet in the same time it takes Phoenix to realize he came up a second too slow and get up on his own. The two come face to face in the center of the ring, but coming face to face with a now straight faced giant is not necessarily a good thing. Carnage blocks off a feral shot at a right hand from his smaller counterpart, and then doubles him over with a kick to the gut. Phoenix falls to his knees from the shot, and that is more than enough of an opening for Carnage. He reaches forward and forces Phoenix's head down, putting the back of his neck against the front side of the giant's right shoulder. The biggest member of D-Volution reaches down and grabs his adversary by both legs and then deadlifts him into the air. The fans get on their feet to see the man who issued the open challenge folding in half, draped across Carnage's right shoulder. The giant screams out triumphantly, and then lets his face turn into a smile before dropping to his knees. Phoenix's head whips backwards and the rest of his muscles are busted to bits from the fall. Carnage lets him fall lifelessly to the mat in front of him before putting a single hand on his chest so that the referee can count the pinfall.

Cedar:
I think Carnage may have just broke that poor kid in half.

Miles:
I don't know what the hell that was, but that guy just got eviscerated.

Carnage stands up smiling, and allows the referee to raise his hand as RAGE! goes off the air and a preview package rolls for the start of the PPV.
