Yeah, I've had a bit of a family crisis today so won't have the time to get the match up this weekend. Sorry Akira, it always sucks to get a no show victory.

M5 | Spyro vs. Akira Kobayashi Empty
PostSubject: Re: M5 | Spyro vs. Akira Kobayashi   M5 | Spyro vs. Akira Kobayashi EmptySat Jul 26, 2014 6:22 pm

Spyro is already in the ring when Akira Kobayashi starts to make his entrance, slowly making his way down the ramp with a black towel draped over his head as "Stay Here" by Swans booms out. Spyro's face is painted a pale white colour, with green, orange and blue lines across his cheeks and near his eyes like war paint. In the ring referee Ryu Sanu is clearly having trouble with Spyro, struggling to keep him from diving out of the ring towards Akira. The seven foot tall monster growls, grinds his teeth, and roars incoherent threats at Akira for taking too long to get to the ring, getting closer and closer to the ropes. Baiting the crazed behemoth, Akira stops half way down the ramp and takes the towel off his head, tossing it down to the floor and staring out at Spyro. Finally snapping, Spyro shoves Ryu Sanu to one side and runs out the ring, charging towards Akira. Spyro goes for a wild superman punch which Akira sees coming from a mile away, allowing him to side step the move and run towards the ring. As Spyro stands on the ramp screaming at the fans to either side of him Akira slides into the ring, getting some distance between himself and Spyro. Now even more pissed off Spyro gives chase, sliding into the ring and leaving himself in position for a hard kick across his chest as he gets up. Sanu calls for the bell as Akira lines up for another kick, this time nailing Spyro across his shoulder. Spyro ignores the strike as he rises up to tower over Akira, who tries throwing some forearms that have about as much effect as a fly trying to punch Mike Tyson. Spyro drives his hand forward, slapping Akira across his face and opening him up to a rabid combination of overhead clubs and knees. Akira hits the ropes, but instead of breaking Spyro grabs his opponents head with both hands, squeezes, and sinks his teeth into his forehead. Akira yells out as Spyro compresses his head like a vice and tries to take a chunk of meat out of it to boot.

Cedar: Kobayashi pissing off Spyro may be the worst mistake he's ever made.=!

Miles: The big boy's hungry for sushi!

Cedar: ...God damnit I hate you.

With Spyro biting away at him Akira throws out a hard kick, hitting the inside of Spyro's tree trunk legs. Akira throws two more kicks, managing to back Spyro up enough that he can't get his teeth all the way into Akira's forehead. With his head still being squeezed Akira throws an uppercut, cracking Spyro along the bottom of his chin and breaking his grip. Small droplets of blood start to drip down from the puncture wounds left by Spyro's teeth, but it does little to dissuade Akira as he lands another uppercut on Spyro. With his opponent reeling back clutching his jaw Akira hits the ropes behind him and comes back with a jumping boot, managing to connect with Spyro's throat and again knock him back. The crowd cheer on Akira as he runs at the ropes again, but Spyro proves he went to the well one too many times when he lurches forward, puts his hands together and clatters Akira with an axe handle. Akira hits the mat face down in a heap and quickly puts his hands over the back of his head, protecting himself somewhat from the flurry of stomps that follow. Spyro circles Akira, grunting and snorting like a wilder beast while battering Akira's back and skull with stomps. Despite having covered the back of his head up, the toll of the beating is visible in the outline of Spyro's boot pressed down into Akira's shoulder and back. Spyro leans over and grabs Akira under the chin, pulling him up to his feet and into a belly-to-belly suplex position. Akira struggles but is easily thrown across the ring with such force his back bounces off the mat, leaving him sat up facing the crowd. Every fan in the arena is firmly before Akira, but that doesn't phase The Crazed Clown at all. Holding Akira by his dark black hair, Spyro drags him back to the centre of the ring and drops a big elbow. Spyro stays laid on Akira, lazily getting a one count and forcing him to kick out. The pace now down to a crawl, Spyro takes his time getting to his feet. Mockingly, Spyro boots Akira in the shoulder gently until he gets up to one knee, at which point Spyro drives his elbow downwards into his forehead. Akira drops down to his back, clutching his forehead as more blood starts to leak out of the bite wound. "A-ki-ra" chants ring out loudly as again Spyro returns to kicking Akira, slowly dissecting The Black Heart Warrior using his superior strength. Perhaps feeling too cocky, Spyro pulls Akira up by his hair with only one hand, using his other to flip his opponent the bird. Defying Spyro's cocky attitude, Akira shoots his hand up and grabs Spyro's finger in his hand. With Spyro's other hand still grasping his hair, Akira yanks his opponents finger, trying to snap it or at least cause Spyro pain. Whether it's because of thick bones or pure finger strength (If such a thing exists) Spyro resists Akira's small joint manipulation and tosses him away into the corner, quickly following and driving a shoulder block into his smaller opponent to compress him against the turnbuckle.

Cedar: Akira just got turned into a sandwich!

Miles: A got damn dolphin sandwich like his momma used to make!

Spyro grabs Akira's arm as he pulls back and whips him across the ring, sending him flying into the corner. Akira slams into the turnbuckle back first with such force he staggers out, clutching his spine as Spyro roars and sprints towards him, leaping up looking for a bicycle kick. At the last moment Akira drops down low and rolls away, leaving Spyro to land crotch first in the corner with one leg up over the ropes. Akira hurries up from the ground, getting behind Spyro and grabbing him in position for a backdrop driver as the mammoth tries to untangle himself from the ropes. Akira clasps his hands together and tries to lift Spyro, but the mountain refuses to budge. Getting his foot onto the top turnbuckle Spyro pushes backwards, making Akira tumble onto the mat with Spyro coming down on top of him. With over three hundred pounds of weight slamming down into him Akira tightens his grip, staying on the monster's back even as Spyro crushes him into the canvas. Ryu Sanu drops down and starts the count, realizing Akira's shoulders are down, but stops at one as Akira manages to roll Spyro onto his left side. With the waist lock still applied Akira hugs tightly into Spyro, who manages to get up to his knees, forcing Akira to kneel up behind him. Spyro starts throwing his elbows back, catching Akira in his shoulders and narrowly missing striking him directly in the head. With Spyro writhing about, Akira manages to wrap his legs around him and catch one of his arms, putting him in an abdominal stretch. Spyro roars out in pain as Akira cranks his arm back and the crowd chant "TAP!" in unison. Spyro grits his teeth managing to get to one knee and then back to his feet, Akira now clinging on for dear life. With one big heave Spyro yanks his arm down, pulling Akira off his back and slamming him into the mat with a hip toss style move. Akira rolls as soon as he hits the mat, escaping a stomp aimed directly at his head. Akira gets back up to his vertical base and wipes his hand across his forehead, feeling that the bleeding has subsided, although some blood is still running down the bridge of his nose. Seeing Akira's concern Spyro licks his lips and then sticks his tongue out, provoking "you sick fuck" chants from the crowd as Akira enters a kickboxing stance. Spyro smirks and closes the distance, yelling "I'm gonna bite your fucking face off!" at Akira loud enough for the microphones to pick it up.

Spyro lunges in and tries to grab Akira, who hops backwards out of the way and kicks Spyro hard in his left shin, managing to catch him off balance and knock him into the ropes. As Spyro tries to pull himself out of the ropes Akira runs in and starts slamming his forearm into the side of Spyro's head, each shot getting a cheer from the crowd. By the time Spyro has recovered Akira has moved away to the centre of the ring, his guard still up and his eyes locked on Spyro. Having learnt from his last mistake Spyro goes in slow, swiping his bear paws and trying to grab him. Akira backs away a step and then closes the gap, going in-between Spyro's outstretched arms and laying a European uppercut into his chin. Akira keeps going, hitting a flurry of palm strikes into Spyro's jaw until The Ripper's arms slam shut around his waist like a vice grip, pinning Akira's arms down to his sides. Spyro hoists Akira up into a bear hug, trying to squeeze the life out of him. Akira kicks out his legs, but finds himself lifted high enough off the ground he can't touch the mat and held in such a strong grip he can't manoeuvre himself into a position where his kicks make contact. Spyro laughs as he pulls Akira in tight, trying to get him in position to bite into his forehead again. This proves to be a mistake, however, as The Black Heart Warrior takes the opportunity to lay a headbutt into the bridge of Spyro's nose. The pain hits the seven foot monster instantly, and even The Crazed Clown has no choice but to throw his hands up and grab his nose in pain, releasing Akira. With a head full of steam Akira bitch slaps Spyro across the face with alternating left and rights, lighting up his cheeks as the crowd cheer him on. Spyro's face paint starts to smudge and run as sweat and Akira's palms come into contact with it, creating an ugly mess. Now having gone from cocky to enraged, the sadistic monster that is Spyro retorts with slaps of his arm, cracking Akira across the face with enough force to make the loud echo throughout the arena. The two engage in a slap battle, bombarding each other with open palm strikes as the sound of hand meeting cheek fills the arena and the crowd roars.

Miles: Slaaaapppp fiiiight!

Cedar: These two are beating the piss out of each other!

With his obvious strength advantage Spyro manages to come out on top, dazing Akira and allowing Spyro to grab his hair and force him back into the corner. Using his left hand to hold Akira up by his head Spyro lays in another series of slaps, busting open Akira's lip slightly. The crowd boo Spyro as he grabs Akira's head in both hands and leans in, again looking to bite his forehead. With Spyro's mouth only a few inches from Akira's head Akira puts his hands up, grabbing Spyro's face and pushing it back. Akira desperately knees Spyro in the stomach, but the sadistic beast responds by leaning his whole bodyweight on Akira and slamming him back into the corner. Akira once again tries pushing his way out, and this time Spyro uses it to his advantage by grabbing Akira around the neck, leaning back and flipping him over onto the mat with a vicious uranage! Akira just about manages to tuck his head in, but that doesn't save him from being spiked onto the back of his neck. As Akira rolls around on the mat clutching his neck Spyro leans over him, watching his opponent writhe around in pain. "WHY AREN'T YOU LAUGHING?" he yells before chuckling and reaching down, pulling Akira up to his knees while clutching his head in his hands. This time Akira is powerless to fight back as Spyro once again bites his forehead, drawing the ire of the capacity crowd. Akira yells out in pain as Spyro splits open his forehead, releasing a trickle of blood down Akira's face. Spyro lifts up Akira while still biting into his head, only stopping to grab him by the back of the neck to set-up for an inverted chokeslam. Blood drips out of Spyro's mouth, washing away some of his facepaint, while Akira is now wearing a crimson mask. Spyro tries lifting Akira up for an inverted chokeslam but Akira blocks it with a kick to the ribs followed by a back elbow. Akira manages to pull himself free of Spyro and stumbles to the ropes, climbing out of the ring. Ryu Sanu leans over the ropes and starts yelling at Akira to get back into the ring as Akira walks up the ramp, picking his dropped towel off the ground and wiping the blood out of his eyes. Before Sanu can start the count Spyro shoves him out of the way, knocking him into the turnbuckle as The Crazed Clown follows Akira. Seeing Spyro approaching Akira tosses the blood soaked towel at him, lets out one of his roars which the crowd by this point recognise as the signal that he's done playing about, and balls up his fist. With Sanu more than willing to take his time getting out of the corner and starting the count the two men start exchanging huge closed fist punches as the crowd chants for Akira. Like men possessed Akira and Spyro drive their knuckles into each others faces, Akira still bleeding from his forehead and Spyro's nose now bloody.

Cedar: This has gone from a wrestling match to a back alley brawl!

The two brawl back down the ramp towards the ring, swinging wildly as Sanu finally composes himself and starts the count. At the count of three Spyro nails Akira with a straight that sends him stumbling back, allowing Spyro to go for a superman punch. Seeing the move coming Akira side steps, sending Spyro flying past him and over the ring steps onto the floor. Spyro tries to get up as fast as he can, but like a shark smelling blood Akira cuts him off with a vicious soccer kick to the head which drops him back down onto his ass. At the count of six Akira lays another soccer kick into Spyro's stomach and rolls into the ring, trying to give himself time to recover as he lies on the mat. At the count of eight Spyro manages to crawl to the ring apron, which he uses to pull himself up and into the ring. The cut on his nose has opened up now, leaving the top half of his face still covered in make-up while the bottom half is splattered in enough blood to wipe the paint off. Slowly the two get up and stumble to the centre of the ring. Akira throws a forearm at Spyro, and thanks to the loss of blood and fatigue Spyro budges, falling back into the ropes. The Crazed Clown takes the momentum and rebounds, nailing Akira with a bicycle kick that in turn sends him back into the ropes. Akira follows suit and rebounds, turns, and nails Spyro with a rolling elbow which floors him. Akira drops down and hooks the leg as Sanu follows and starts to count - One, two thr-KICKOUT! Spyro gets his leg free just before Sanu's hand strikes the blood soaked canvas a third time. Akira sits next to Spyro's prone body, listening to the crowd cheer him on. The bleeding has once again slowed down, but Akira is still a bloody mess thanks to Spyro's cannibalistic tendencies and the hard hitting physical style the two share. Akira gets up and grabs Spyro's leg, tucking it under his arm. He tries rolling The Crazed Clown over onto his stomach, but meets resistance in the form of Spyro's over foot coming up and hitting him in the jaw. Akira falls back into the ropes and Spyro gets to his feet, loudly growling as he eyes up Akira. Akira tries to put Spyro back down with another roaring elbow but this time Spyro manages to grab him during the turn, apply a rear waist lock and then plant Akira into the mat with a belly to back suplex. Spyro covers but can only get a two count from Sanu.

Cedar: And now this is where Spyro feels at home - covered in blood, momentum in his favour, and his opponent at his mercy.

Spyro hoists Akira back up to his feet, taking the opportunity to slap him across the face as he does. Intent on wearing his opponent down, Spyro turns Akira around and puts on a sleeper hold, using his thick biceps to cut off the blood flow to Akira's head. Akira reaches up, holding onto Spyro's hair as he drops to one knee and starts to fade. The fans chant for Akira, getting completely behind The Black Heart Warrior. Inch by inch he tries struggling towards the corner first with one hand and his knees but soon Akira releases Spyro's hair and uses it to crawl, barely managing to move Spyro each time. Akira's eyes begin to glaze over, but in his exhausted state Spyro struggles to keep Akira completely restrained, and eventually he manages to grab the bottom rope with both hands, prompting cheers from the crowd. Sanu starts his count and Spyro takes full advantage of the five count, releasing the choke at the last possible moment. Sanu starts to yell at Spyro to follow instructions, but one sidewise glance from the eyes of the blood soaked clown silence the official. Akira climbs up on the ropes, but before he can mount an offence gets grabbed by Spyro. Spyro hooks Akira up for a vertical suplex, lifts him, and then drops him stomach first onto the turnbuckle to hit the Bile-Buster! Akira coughs and groans as he falls forward off of the turnbuckle back into the ring. The crowd continues cheering for Akira as he crawls away from the corner, slowly followed by Spyro. Spyro grins down at Akira, toying with his prey. Akira manages to get to a knee as Spyro rebounds off the ropes behind him, looking for the knee to the back of the head he calls the lobotoknee. Spyro throws his knee forward with full force but nobody's home as Akira rolls out of the way. Akira jumps up at Spyro, nailing him with a leaping headbutt that floors the big man and busts Akira's forehead back open. Akira stands over Spyro, bleeding profusely and with chants of "Akira's gonna kill you" filled his ears. Akira clutches his forehead, limping back and forth on the spot as he tries to avoid passing out from either blood loss or pain. Deciding to give the crowd their wish Akira reaches down, grabbing Spyro by his hair and dragging him to his knees. Spyro sways back and forth as Akira backs away, lining himself up as the crowd all together start bringing the noise up gradually. Akira charges forward and lands a kick directly into Spyros face, making the crowd boom out in unison. Spyro slumps down to the mat once again as Akira marches around the ring, limbering up.

Cedar: Akira Kobayashi's making a comeback, but how can he possibly put Spyro away here?

With Spyro barely stirring it falls to Akira to pull him up, hooking him up in position for the brainbuster. Akira heaves, but the best he can do is get Spyro onto his tiptoes, putting strain on his own back as he does so. Spyro counters by throwing a knee up into Akira's gut, staggering him and allowing Spyro to break free. Akira tries to keep the match in his favour with a running boot, but Spyro manages to get his hands up in time and catch his leg. Spyro tosses Akira's leg away, spinning Akira around so Spyro can grab the back of his neck. The crowd boo loudly, prompting Spyro to loudly laugh before planting Akira face first into the mat with an inverted chokeslam. Spyro uses his boot to roll Akira over onto his back and then places his foot on Akira's chest for the over. ONE, TWO, TH-KICKOUT! Spyro yells at Sanu, who backs away while trying to explain to Spyro that it was only two. Spyro follows Sanu, roaring at him that he's going to beat the hell out of him. The distraction is only short, but it proves to be enough time for Akira to get to his feet and run up behind Spyro. Akira grabs Spyro in position for a backdrop driver, but instead of trying to lift him over Akira pushes him into the ropes. While Spyro rebounds off the ropes Akira puts the brakes on and lifts, using the added momentum to heave Spyro over and plant him on his skull with a backdrop driver! Spyro's huge body bounces off the mat as Akira lays sprawled out on the canvas, looking up at the lights as he tries to gather the energy to carry on. At this point Akira's hair is a dirty mess of a mix of sweat and blood, he has a black eye, his lip is cut open and blood has dripped all the way down onto his chest. Akira rolls onto his chest, allowing him to watch Spyro for any movement as he stands up and walks backwards into the corner. Spyro gets onto his hands and knees as he attempts to get up, leaving him in prime position for a soccer kick. Akira doesn't waste a second, running forward and plating a boot into the side of Spyro's head. Spyro drops down onto his face, once again limp and motionless as Akira mounts his back. Akira leans forward, hooking an arm around Spyro's throat for a sleeper hold/camel clutch hybrid submission hold that both chokes Spyro and contorts his spine thanks to Akira being sat on his back. Blood drips down from Spyro's nose over Akira's arms, but at this point it barely registers with anybody Both men are already soaked in blood and sweat after their brutal brawl, what's another drop? Spyro starts to struggle and grunt, but it doesn't take too long for him to start to pass out. Sanu hesitantly grabs Spyro's hand, lifting it up and then dropping it. It goes limp. The crowd chant for Akira as The Black Heart Warrior to squeeze down on Spyro's neck, doing everything in his power to put the monster to sleep. For a second time Sanu lifts Spyro's arm, and again it drops. With Spyro still not responding, Sanu lifts his hand again, and for the third and final time the bloody mess that is Spyro is unable to keep his hand up, making Akira Kobayashi the winner and awarding him another three points!
