As we reported earlier in the week, 4 top matches have been discussed for this year's SummerSlam PPV, and they are as follows:

-Stephanie McMahon vs Brie Bella
-Roman Reigns vs Randy Orton
-John Cena vs Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Title
-Chris Jericho vs Bray Wyatt

The Wrestling Observer has confirmed the above PPV plans, and while things can of course change, these are the top four PPV "locks" at this point. At one point Daniel Bryan vs Kane in a Buried Alive match was discussed, but with Daniel Bryan's injury status in question, it appears that match is highly unlikely.

In related news, we noted earlier in the week that the decision was made to give John Cena the WWE World Title as soon as WWE realized they would have to strip it from Daniel Bryan. Despite him being a leading candidate to win the title, in many people's eyes, Bray Wyatt was never considered to win the Money in the Bank ladder match.

See? I wasn't the only one thinking that Bray Wyatt was probably going to win, but obviously that didn't happen as Cena was the obvious choice.

And I'm actually looking forward to Reigns vs. Orton.
