M2 | David Harva vs. The Pirate Empty
PostSubject: Re: M2 | David Harva vs. The Pirate   M2 | David Harva vs. The Pirate EmptySat Jun 28, 2014 7:31 pm

It's shit but it's something

"David Harva stormed into the XWA ring a few weeks ago with his manager Benjamin Jeffery and demanded competition. They issued an open challenge for tonight at the Big Ass American Bash. A backstage confrontation and a few bad nautical puns later, this challenge was answered by the most unlikely of sources. In one corner, we have an intimidating-looking newcomer looking to back up his big words in his debut. In the other we have a man needing to continue his momentum as he looks to compete for the Intercontinental Championship. It's David Harva vs The Pirate, and it's next!"

DING DING DING!!!

The opening lock-up did not last long, as David Harva almost immediately overpowers his opponent and throws The Pirate backwards onto the mat. The captain rolls back comically into the ropes and immediately stands back up as Harva looks smugly back at him. After thinking over his options for a brief moment, Pirate leaps up onto the bottom rope behind him and immediately pushes off, launching himself at Harva. However, the Russian Cannon has ample time to reverse whatever Pirate was attempting, catching his smaller opponent and spinning around to plant him on the mat with a Spinebuster. Harva quickly stands up, roaring, getting the crowd to shower him with boos. He doesn't care much for that, and as his manager claps arrogantly from ringside, he reaches down and grabs Bloom, pulling him back to his feet. After wrapping The Pirate up, Harva continues the onslaught by throwing his opponent backward, the Belly-to-Belly Suplex launching him clear across the ring. Pirate's momentum brings him right back up to his feet, but he's wobbly, using the ropes to steady himself. Harva quickly pushes himself back up once again, and by the time Pirate has got himself turned around, David's able to flatten him with a loud Big Boot. After Bloom crumples to the mat, Harva wastes no time in going for the pin.....one...two...kickout. Pirate won't go down that easy, but Harva strangely had himself convinced. He immediately begins to argue with the referee, positive that he had gotten the pin there.

"I don't know what pin Harva was watching. That was clearly a two-count."

"Ah, he's just excited. It's his first match here, let him be."

"Well he might get himself into a pickle if he keeps arguing calls like that."

Harva's extended issue with the count allows Pirate a little time to recover, and he's begun to stand up by the time David turns back to him. Harva reaches down, but Bloom is ready for him. He quickly stands up and knocks his opponent's legs out from under him, grabbing one as Harva falls, and immediately applies an Ankle Lock. Harva groans in pain for a second, but then sharply pulls his leg in toward him as he rolls onto his back. This catches Pirate off guard, flipping him into the air over top of Harva. Pirate rolls on his back and pops back to his feet, then turns around to see Harva doing the same. The Russian Cannon charges forward at his opponent, but the captain sees it coming, and is able to duck under the oncoming Clothesline. Pirate then runs up the turnbuckles, as Harva was coming out of the corner. Bartholomew leaps off and twists around before nailing Harva with a Flying Elbow Smash. But he doesn't go down! Pirate stumbles away as Harva's head snaps back, but the big man keeps his footing, an angry look crossing his face. Bloom keeps the pace up, in that case, sprinting off toward the ropes. He comes back and once again nails Harva in the face, this time with a Dropkick. Harva once again doesn't go down, but he's wobbly. The crowd wells up with anticipation. Will Harva fall? They don't have to wait very long, as Harva stumbles back into the ropes, and then forward, where Pirate, having gotten back up once again, connects with his signature kick to the shin, followed by a hard DDT. Harva's head plants off the mat, and Pirate quickly rolls him over for the cover.....one.....two...kickout!

"And now Pirate's on the offensive with his fast-paced style!"

"But all he's doing is makin' Harva mad. Makin' him mad."

The captain once again pulls himself up and heads over toward the corner. As Harva lays motionless, Bloom scales the turnbuckles and has no problem coming off with a solid Moonsault, getting a big pop from the crowd. He hooks the leg.....one.....two.....kickout again! Harva stays in it, but it looks like one more big move will put him away. Pirate realizes this, and tries to go for the kill. He stands back up and pulls Harva to his feet. He hooks his opponent up, and it looks like the Tidal Wave is coming...no! Harva spins himself out of it, pulls his leg back and thrusts it up at Pirate. Ankle Tap connects! Pirate crumples to the mat, and Harva falls on top of him. The ref slides in.....one.....two......NO! Pirate kicks out at the last second! Benjamin Jeffery is in disbelief. Harva rolls off, a angry at the referee, but unable to get up immediately about it. Yelling from his back, the Russian Cannon gives the official a piece of his mind, but it's no use. It won't do him any good, and he eventually realizes this, crawling over to the ropes to pull himself back up. After taking his opponent's finisher, by the looks of it, Pirate is in no shape to be getting up himself, so Harva has to pick him up off the canvas to continue his attack. Once he's got Bloom to his feet, David picks his opponent up onto his shoulder and immediately drops him back down with a Scoop Slam. Instead of going for another pin, however, he stands back up and backs himself into the corner. As Pirate lays limp on the mat, Harva runs up to him and leaps up, landing a big Legdrop. He hooks the leg.....one.....two.....no! Pirate gets the shoulder up again!

"No! He fucking got him there! That's bullshit!"

"I dunno Joey. Pirate's bein' pretty resilient tonight."

Harva doesn't like it either, and this time he immediately gets up and gets in the referee's face. The official cowers back into the corner as the Russian Cannon spews insults at him. Benjamin Jeffery has to get up on the apron and try to restrain his client as he argues the count, but Harva won't budge. This goes on for several moments, the ref too terrified to do anything about it and the manager too weak to influence his large client. In the meantime, this gives The Pirate plenty of time to recover, shake the cobwebs out of his head, and start to stand up. Eventually, Harva has had enough, and turns back to Pirate to finish it off. Seeing Bloom just about to get to his feet, David rears back and lunges forward, looking to finish him with the End of Day punch. However, the captain is able to look up and see it coming just in time. He ducks under his opponent's hand, leaving Harva in the perfect position for Pirate to quickly wrap him up and hit the Tidal Wave out of nowhere. Slowly, Bloom rolls him over as the referee slides in. Making a somewhat faster pin, he counts Harva's shoulders down....one....two....NO! He kicked out! The crowd sits in stunned silence, having gone nuts for the surprise counter not 5 seconds earlier. Pirate is shocked, and rolls off into the corner to contemplate his next move. He kicked out of the Tidal Wave...what else can be done? As Harva slowly sits up, still loopy after having his face driven into the mat, Pirate pulls himself back to his feet. Rubbing the spot on his temple where Harva kicked him earlier, Bloom sizes up his opponent, seemingly having a new plan. The Russian Cannon reaches his feet, stumbling around in the middle of the ring. He turns, and meets a boot to the midsection. After doubling his opponent over, Pirate tucks Harva's head beneath his legs, and then hooks both arms. With a loud grunt, the captain heaves his opponent into the air, holding him vertically by the arms. After a moment of holding that position, he falls back...and drives both knees into the shoulder blades of David Harva!

"Oh my!"

"What the hell was that!?"

"It was devastating! That's what it was!"

The crowd pops big for this new move of Pirate's as Harva falls limp beside him. After grabbing at his lower back due to the pressure of lifting 280 pounds like that, Pirate fights through that pain to roll his opponent over onto his back. Here's the cover.....one.....two.....three!

TJ wins. I do apologize, the past two weeks have been busy as fuck, due to the end of financial year. Plus this week I have retrieved some sort of flu. Again I'm sorry. I should be good to show for a match next week.
