|  ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★XWA Presents: Saturday Night RAGE[/b] Match Stipulation: Intercontinental Tournament Qualifier (No Countouts; No DQ) Reward: None C5 Ion vs. Spyro ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★Before the referee signals for the bell to ring, Ion stops the referee in his tracks as he tells him to give him a second. Ion walks slowly past the referee, with eyes locked on the 'Crazed Clown' Spyro as he reaches for a microphone to be put in his hand from a ringside XWA employee.C5 [color:cc97=B041FF]ION ...Spryo...I just wanted you and the whole XWA Universe to know that tonight...The losing streak ends...Tonight Spyro...Your entering the matrix!With those confident words from Ion, he tosses the microphone over the top rope to the outside, as the referee points to both men to see if they're ready to start this match. The referee sees the confirmation from both superstars and the bell rings.DING! DING! DING!As the bell rings, the crowds intensity level quiets down as Ion looks at the wicked man straight diagonal from him. Ion has a very intense look on his face as tonight he has to get the win at all costs without continually being the laughing stock of the XWA. Both men stand diagonally from each other, from corner to corner. Ion and Spyro start to circle the ring as the crowd starts the clapping momentum. Ion wants a test of strength, but he knows that Spyro is stronger than him, so Ion uses the quickness to his advantage as he slips around Spyro as he switches the lockup into a arm bar. Ion starts to pick his poison on Spyro's left arm as Ion starts to pick apart the arm with an arm wringer. Ion then twists Spyro's arm for a little more amount of pain. Ion looks to go twist the arm again, but it looks like he can't twist the psycho's arm no more. Spyro tries to fight back by throwing right jabs, but with Ion's quickness, Ion ducks all the attempted punches. Ion sees the fatigue level of Spyro slowly depleting as he is throwing careless punches. Ion thinks he's in control, then suddenly without having time to react, Spyro grabs Ion with his right arm and pulls Ion closer to him and uses his shoulder that connects with Ion that sends Ion down without hesitation. Spyro then releases a furry of knees to the midsection of Ion as Ion is downed. Spyro takes Ion back to the mat and works on his arm now with an armbar. Spyro then lifts Ion into a seated position and puts Ion in a headlock. Spyro then throws Ion's arm over his head and he lifts Ion up from the mat and into the air, and then back to the mat with a suplex. Spyro looks at Ion with an deranged look in his eyes as he goes for the pin attempt.ONE TW-KICKOUT BY ION The crowd cheers as Ion kicks out and Spyro picks Ion up, as he thinks that he has won the match, but Ion breaks the grip of Spyro and charges to the ropes and springboards off the middle ropes with an well executed moonsault. In midair, Spyro ducks under Ion and Ion lands on his feet as he changes up his move without crashing onto the mat again. As Ion landed on to the mat, Spyro came straight back with an hard hitting clothesline that flips Ion inside out. The crowd is in shock as the deranged man goes for he pin attempt.ONE TWO THR-KICKOUT BY ION As Ion kicked out, he tries to crawl away with every ounce of oxygen he has left, but Spyro goes for Ion's leg, but Ion uses his right leg to kick him off. Spyro runs right back towards Ion, but Ion kips up, using his legs to grab around Spyro, catching him with a kip-up hurricanrana, tossing Spyro to the mat with his legs. Ion then uses the ropes to get off the mat as he then rushes and tries to go to work on Spyro once again, but Spyro fights to his feet and out of the hold. Spyro runs the ropes and hits the usual set of moves for his comeback. Ion is down and Spyro throws his hand up and throws his elbow towards Ion as he connects with a falling elbow drop to a bad reaction. Spyro signals his right hand up once again as he is ready to finish this match once and for all. Ion is slowly pulling himself up by using the middle and top rope and Ion is fully standing and he turns around to a man that has been ready for a long time. Spyro looks at Ion and picks him up by his leg and is trying to drop Ion face first onto the mat with a flapjack, but Ion gains consciousness and slips out of the hold by pushing Spyro away, even though he didn't move anywhere and looks for an enzigiuri. Ion looks to connect with the devastating kick, but Spyro ducks the kick and Ion crashes to the mat. Spyro sees the opening that Ion is on his stomach and Spyro grabs the foot of Ion, dragging him closer to him as he takes his arm around the neck of Ion, locking in the sleeper hold. Ion starts to swings his arms as he is struggling to get out of the hold and Ion has no choice but to start to claw his way to the ropes. Ion is just now fingertips away from the ropes, but Spyro lets go of the hold for a quick second and drags Ion straight back to the middle of the ring, reapplying the sleeper hold once again. Ion once again goes for the ropes and this time he grabs it as Spyro doesn't let go because he doesn't have to.Ted Cedar:I wonder if Ion knows that this is a no disqualification match? If he doesn't then someone should tell him. Spyro slowly backs up and he looks to go on the attack once again, but Ion kicks Spyro in the leg, breaking him down to a kneed position. Ion then pulls himself up using the ropes with all his strength and he then points in the sky at the roof of the arena. Ion then runs past the kneed Spyro and bounces off the ropes, sprinting past Spyro once again towards the ropes and flips forward in midair, handspringing off the ropes with no hands, and flips back, landing on the mat, then without hesitation, he quickly jumps off the mat and pelé kicks Spyro, nailing him in the head, executing the 'Seal The Matrix'. The crowd goes crazy as Ion goes for the cover to hopefully break the everlasting losing streak.ONE TWO THREE DING! DING! DING!Laura Watts:Here is your winner and Intercontinental Tournament Qualifier...C5 Ion! Ion swings his right arm in celebration as his left arm holds his stomach in pain.Ted Cedar:Ion has been looking for this moment for a long time. It has been since April 12th since that Ion has won a match. The last time he won a match was April 5th of this year. Joey Miles:What a damn good match Ion ended right there. This match was actually good because Ion had actually defeated someone. Ted Cedar:But the thing that confused me is, Ion didn't use any weapons to defeat Spyro...Wait was is Ion doing?!? As the fallen Spyro is laid out on the mat, Ion looks at the outside and sees two steel chairs by the announcer table. The crowd starts to chant "Chairs, Chairs, Chairs" as Ion points to them. Ion slides out the ring and grabs one of the chairs and climbs onto the apron. As his back is turned, he holds the chair up in the air, but Ion looks at a little boy in the crowd confused as the little boy is pointing to the ring shouting. Ion, still confused, turns around on the apron and sees the hand of Spyro grab his neck as Spyro looks for a chokeslam all the way from the apron to the floor. Ion then looks at the chair in his right hand and swings it at Spyro, but Spyro takes it out of his hand. Suddenly, Spyro looks at Ion and he starts to swing the chair in motion, but Ion slides over and the chair bounces off and hits Spyro in the face. Then, Ion without hesitation jumps up and throws his right leg up as high as he can and kicks the chair with an enzigiuri from the apron. The connection with the kick and the chair knocks the psychotic clown down to the mat. Ion then looks at Spyro as he has the chair in his chest as he fell to the mat. Ion then looks at the crowd as he hits the turnbuckles three times and the crowd goes crazy happy as Ion climbs the ropes. Ion then stands straight up tall as he throws his hands in the air and he then jumps, flipping 450 degrees, crashing down onto Spyro, landing on the chair that Spyro is holding. The crowd jump to their feet as Ion lays in the middle of the ring in pain after that great executed 450 splash on to a chair.Ted Cedar:What the hell! Ion has just really put his body on the line for doing that! This was just...Oh my gosh! Joey Miles:I have to give it to the kid on this one. He went into this match with a good damn mindset and he realized it would work. It's pretty fucking weird if you ask me to be honest, but the match is over so we can't say shit about it... Ted Cedar:Good gracious! That was to damn risky for Ion, that's all I can say... Joey Miles:That's all you can say...This match was just hellacious. Ted Cedar:Well, what a match that was tonight as Ion has finally ended the losing streak right here on our XWA special Saturday Night RAGE! The crowd is estatic as C5 Ion just got the win and how he decimated Spyro with the 450, holding his stomach in tremendous amount of pain as the cameras fade away to the backstage area where Travis Levitt is on Saturday Night RAGE.★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ |
