F4WOnline.com is reporting that many within WWE are "incredibly amused" with the fact that TNA put their world championship on Eric Young, which is an obvious "knock-off" to WWE giving Daniel Bryan the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It is being said that nobody has an issue with Eric Young as a worker or a person, but WWE officials are laughing at the booking of the entire angle, calling it "ridiculous."

If they had Eric win the title at a show like Slammiversary, with the proper build, i wouldnt be giving them shit for it. But once again, they rushed it and put it on free tv of all things.

Yeah TNA wouldn't look so stupid if they didn't jump the shark on things like this.

They rushed it but I wouldn't say it was a knock-off. Eric Young wasn't continuously getting terrorised by management so, no not a knock-off.

Turning someone who's done about a decade of comedy jobber work with his only singles win in the past 2 years or so coming against a Knockout is about as stupid booking as I can imagine.

You have to make him credible before winning the title, not try to do it after.

They did have him feud with Abyss. But his work with Abyss didn't make me think they needed to put him in contention for The World Title.

If it wasn't for the facial hair then no one would be making a comparison.
