Video games are awesome. So it's no surprise that sometimes awesome things happen whilst playing them. Whether it's the time you finally beat that boss, or just a glitch that made your character do something hilarious, tell us about you favourite video gaming moments. They can be gameplay, or a moment from the story of the game. If it happened in a video game, it's fair...um...game.

Mass Effect 2 - The "oh shit" moment of the reaper army at the end. We've seen how hard it is to take down one of the things, and then hundreds of the things appear, and they're coming for you.

GTA San Andreas - Running over myself with my own car. I was driving around near the garage that CJ buys in San Fierro. Went over a hill and pressed triangle, and somehow managed to glitch forwards so CJ was standing in front of the speeding car.

GTA IV - mucking about near the glitch swings with a wanted level. A cop grabs the door, and opens it, just as the swing blasts me away. The sight of him clinging desperately to the door as we sailed through the air had me laughing for ages.

WWE Smackdown Here Comes The Pain - playing through the season mode, I saw Brock Lesnar vs. Chris Benoit for the world title as one of the cpu matches. I decided to play as Benoit, as Lesnar was clearly going to win a simmed match, and I wanted to have the underdog victory. I must have locked in Benoit's finisher submission about five times, and each time Lesnar got out easy. Eventually I had Benoit "accidentally" knock the ref down, so I could grab a chair and beat Lesnar with it. Doesn't sound that great written down, but at the time I made up a story in my head which revolved around Benoit snapping. Unfortunately real life Benoit snapped a bit harder than that.

Pokemon Red - first playthrough, didn't have a guide or any idea what would happen. After I beat the Elite Four, my childhood self jumped up and started celebrating by dancing around the Gameboy. Then Gary happened. I ended up beating him with a shitload of potions, and a Butterfree that could only use Struggle. I felt like a king that day.

Finally beating Dark Souls for the first time.

Doing a co-op "No Death" run through Dark Souls and purposely killing my best mate with an obvious trick.

Probably not the best achievements, but they're my proudest/fondest ones.

Mass Effect 2's Suicide Mission - Now I didn't start playing the Mass Effect franchise until ME3 came out. Now I started with ME2 since there wasn't a an ME1 nor an ME Full Trilogy at that time. I loved every minute of playing it. But the OMG moment here for me was the Suicide Mission. I never thought that people could die from the Suicide Mission. When I let Jacob do the tech thing he volunteered to do, guess what? He fucking died. I remember going like "Shit! Shit! Jacob!." There were also some other people who died because I didn't do their loyalty missions. One of the moments in gaming that I'll never forget and it's what made me play ME2 repeatedly over the past



My first encounter with Lu Bu in Dynasty Warriors - To those who don't play  Dynasty Warriors, Lu Bu is like this OP motherfucker, espescially during the older DW's(most likely DW5 below).
I remember the gates of this fortress opening and that dude just comes out with a badass weapon and a RED FUCKING HORSE! Me being a younger gamer back in the day. Decided to charge at Lu Bu, I hit him with my musou (specialty move) It does little damage to him. He strikes back and my life's already reduced to half. I was so surprised at that moment, and I ended up dying.



Dragon Age Origins - Aside from the tragic origin stories, the witty banter between party members and the epic storyline. What made DA awesome was the variety of choices there. I replayed DA a lot because of it. That's how story driven games should be done.


GTA V's Heists - I loved doing the heists. Won't spoil anything here to someone who hasn't played GTA V yet, but the Paleto Score, is kick ass!



Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core, Zack dies - That was a tragic and epic moment for me. Seeing him just own all those soldiers and having only but a few left and a helicopter on top. His death brought me to man tears though.


Monster Hunter - Just facing the fucking monsters gave me goosebumps in Monster Hunter. I never got to finish that game since I found it hard. Getting the armor I want in that game was a great incentive too.



Metal Gear Rising - Regardless of how short Metal Gear Rising Reveangence was (well now we have Grounds Zero) I loved the gameplay and holy shit, chopping of the body parts of enemies, is something I won't forget.




Way Of The Samurai 3 - This is an underrated game. What I loved about this one is how the choices you make, the side you join, will ultimately affect the ending of the game. I loved how I chose to sacrifice myself for the heir of the Sakurai clan, then few minutes later, she appears in my execution to save me, not just with soldiers but with the peasants I helped to. I was like "Hell yeah!" At that time. Then there was a big battle that happened and I ended up killing the feudal lord in his fortress. Got the best ending afterwards where there was piece and an alliance between another army which was invading. Too bad Way of The Samurai 4 became comic relief and not an epic Samurai tale anymore



Misusing the highlight reel in SVR games - I remember screwing around with the fucking highlight reel in Smackdown versus Raw 2009. I made a video called Kofi Shit. It featured Kofi being involved in some of the most laughable glitches I have ever seen in SVR.



Shadow of Collosus - Climbing up those big ass bosses was something I'll never forget in this game. The game was full of it anyway

Read Dead Redemption:

Metal Gear Solid 1 - Facing Metal Gear REX at the end and then facing Liquid on top of it after it was defeated. Damn that made me mark so hard as a kid and it taken me about 30 tries, so it was SOOO satisfying.

Metal Gear Solid 2 - FINALLY defeating Solidus at the end on top of Federal Hall. I just couldn't defeat him no matter how hard I tried. Always came so close, but kept fucking up. I eventually managed it and it felt awesome.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Firstly, going back to Shadow Moses island where the first game was set...the nostalgia was insane and then being able to actually drive a Metal Gear REX at the end of that act? Blew my mind. Closing scenes of that game were also awesome.

Metal Gear Rising - Just started playing this game the other day and within the first 5 minutes of the game...you take on Metal Gear RAY. I marked so hard xD

WWF Smackdown! 2 - More funny stuff with this. During the career mode, I had a custom character and won the European Title within no time. I then remained the WWF European Champion for 23 years xD In another season mode, I won the IC Title and had to defend it against Jericho in a cage. Chyna then interfered, climbing over the cage and into the ring to help Jericho. She then climbed back out and hit the floor...the match ended and she was declared the new IC Champion Epic glitch.

PES 5 (I think it was 5...) - Scored a goal as Arsenal. Got the game back to 2-1. The player that scored went to pick up the ball to quickly run back with it...the game bugged out and the player just kept running around the ball continuously as the snap point for him to pick it up couldn't be reached. Went on for minutes xD

Football Manager - Won the Scottish Premier League with Celtic four years in a row. Thought I was a footballing God

All the Tomb Raider games - Nothing specific, but they always give me a good feeling when playing them. I always feel motivated to keep on playing when they are on my screen, including the new one.

Formula 1 1995 - One of the first games I ever got. Was addicted to it for years. Just being able to drive as Damon Hill blew my mind xD

Beating Sonic 2 a few months back. Never beat it as a kid and then i FINALLY defeated Robotnik in his giant mecha self, was glorious!

The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time - Multiple favourite moments from this. Getting Epona from Lon Lon Ranch. Playing all the tunes. Doing all the missions. Saving Zelda at the ending.

The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask - Wearing the masks.

Mass Effect - Shepard at the ending.

Mass Effect 2 - Shepard taking on the reapers. The missions. So many moments in this that I loved playing. Especially the ending.

Mass Effect 3 - "That was for Thane, you son of a bitch" So satisfying. Loved that. Then that run at the end that starts as a limp then he jumps into that beam. Regardless of the shitty ending. I thought it was cool.

Alan Wake - When they were on the farm and music was playing and we were killing Taken. Awesome. Then there's the ending.

Alan Wakes American Nightmare - Taking out the satellite.

The Walking Dead - When Lee went on that rampage on zombies near the end to save Clementine.

Beyond Two Souls - Just when we had to do stuff to help Jodie. Also when she finally meets Aiden.

Resident Evil games - Over the course of playing. There was multiple times where Leon and Chris are just cool. Taking on their enemies. Also for Claire as well.

Dragon Age - The whole conversations that goes on during gameplay are hilarious.

Dragon Age 2 - As above. Also the moments between the brothers (or sisters depending what you picked)

I'm much more simple... I totally felt like the king of the world when I stabbed a crocodile in Far Cry 3.

Yes, I'm aware theyre far easier to kill than Komodo Dragons but it was my first little session.

Arkham City's ending

The entire Ra's Al Ghul scene in Arkham City

Any Arkham Origins boss battle

Finding out that you could go to Kanto in Gold/Silver/Crystal (Pokemon)

Playing Halo 2/3/4 online and with family (so many good memories)

Borderlands 2 - Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep because of feelings. So much feelings. And comedy.

Dark Souls - Beating the game.

Dark Souls II - Beating the bitchass Smelter fucking Demon boss who's a fucking piece of shit trash douchebag.

Dark Souls II - Beating the game. But the aforementioned one was more satisfying.

Dragon Age: Origins - The war at the end of the game.

Mass Effect - The entire game. Like, literally. It's my favorite game series. I have books. And a sweat jacket.

The Walking Dead by Telltale Games - Lee's Death

There's way too many to name. I've gotten so much happiness out of games. I guess if I had to pick one, it'd be beating Sonic Adventure 2 for the first time. It was my absolute favorite game growing up, but I had taken several years to actually get around to beat it. Just hearing Live and Learn while I fought the final boss gave me chills.

Gyrm Greatshield makes that so easy to cheese through it's unreal.

Beating Saints Row, the first one, I've never been particularly good at video games, and this was the first non-pokemon game I had beaten in years, so I really felt proud of myself when I beat it. 

Reaching level 90 with my primary WoW character, took me forever since I only binge play once or twice a month.  

Playing Diablo 3 with my old roommate here in Bahrain, was literally me being one-shotted since he's 20 levels higher than me, lol, hilarious shit though.
