It has been revealed that Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow are to split following eleven years of marriage.

The pair announced that they had reached the decision to go their separate ways on their website, goop.com. They revealed that their marriage was coming to an end in an emotional statement on the website.

The post, titled “conscious uncoupling”, says that:
"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."

The Coldplay frontman married the There’s Something About Mary actress on December 5th 2003. The couple have two kids together, a nine-year-old daughter called Apple and their son Moses who is five. In the statement released on their website Chris and Gwyneth say that they plan to co-parent.

Woah I did not see that happening. That's sad though   

Any couple that calls a child Apple doesn't deserve to stay together.

Im sure the child will legally change their name once they're able to
