WWE Superstar and two-time world champion Christian has apparently been removed from tonight's Intercontinental Championship match, scheduled to air live on Main Event.

"Captain Charisma" was scheduled to face Big E in tonight's title match; an opportunity he won after defeating Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler and Alberto del Rio in a fatal-4-way last night on Raw. As of now WWE has not offered a reason as to why Christian has been removed from the title match, nor a replacement match for tonight's show. Their website states "questions are already beginning to arise as to what will happen next."

Christian has a history of injuries, and has been on the shelf numerous times over the past few years, however at this time we haven't heard any injury reports or rumors coming out of last night's WWE Raw from New York. We will still have live coverage of tonight's Main Event airing on the WWE Network, kicking off at 8PM ET.

Two scenarios possible here:
- either it's Cena's fault;
- or he walked out like CM Punk.

I don't think he'd walk out, I mean he's getting a title match. He should consider himself lucky to even get a title shot because of all the rumors surrounding Mcmahon not liking him and not seeing him as a main event guy. Or maybe he was supposed to lose the match that's why he walked out idk.



They wouldn't have him win the #1 contender's match if he wasn't supposed to compete in it.
It's probably an injury... again, a wellness policy violation , or by a small chance the IC title match is going to be on Wrestlemania. But I doubt it since Big E and Christian are in the battle royal at WM.


Christian should at least get one last run with any individual title then retire IMO, he's getting burnt out and injury prone already. As much as I want to see him main event, I think his body can't take it anymore. Physique wise, he's looking very scrawny.  

They ended up doing Ziggler vs. Sheamus vs. Del Rio to decide the new #1 contender on ME, with the winner facing Big E. in the main event.

That sucks
Big E will probably retain it anyway.
