As we reported a couple weeks ago, WWE is facing a potential problem with two big projects that were originally supposed to feature CM Punk, one of them being the upcoming Flintstones movie.

PWInsider.com is reporting WWE is working to solve the Flintstones problem, as the script for the film is currently being re-written to remove Punk and replace him with another name, which will likely be Rey Mysterio. The Flintstones movie is set for a 2015 release.

As for the other project posing a problem for, the Camp WWE Online cartoon, it's being said Punk will likely be re-written out of that as well.

The WWE Slam City animated project, which just recently launched, will feature Punk, however, as the episodes were already finished prior to Punk leaving WWE, so they cannot be edited. WWE is doing its best, however, to downplay Punk's role in the show, and any advertisements that go along with it.

First they make Rey take Bryan's place in the rumble, now they make him take Punk's place in the movie.
