When's the last time WWE pushed new stars so hard?

Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan both being pushed as major characters.

Cesaro and Reigns both being written as larger than life performers...

Like all the time?

I can't think of any.

So, you don't remember CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio, The Miz, Jack Swagger, Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Wade Barrett, Ryback, etc. receiving massive pushes in the last 3-4 years?

McIntyre didnt really get that huge of a push, he got a run with the IC title but after that he fell off the face of the earth. You also forgot Ziggler as well.

Everyone you mentioned, bar Punk, stopped receiving that push the very moment WWE felt it wasn't working. Then they fell into the mid card never to be cared about again.

You said in the last 3-4 years. Yeah, they've always pushed new stars. I just mean the amount of new stars. The four I named are 4 of the 10 most featured guys on WWE Programming right now. Generally there are one or two getting a big push at a time, then slowed down for the next one or two. Four in a one year period is pretty odd to me.

And the same thing can happen to any of these guys barring Bryan - who should not count anyways because he's already accomplished a great deal - but that's not the point.

Explain to me how Cesaro, Bray Wyatt, & Roman Reigns pushes are any greater than Sheamus', Swagger's, & The Miz - which all pretty much happened in the same time period? Cesaro is still seen as a midcarder, & let's not forget he & Swagger were jobbing to other teams for months; and that was recently, actually.

I agree with Ian. In fact, just look at 2007-2010, when the main eventers were Undertaker, Batista, Edge, John Cena, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, etc.

The only people who were "getting a push" were almost never successful. It wasn't till 2010 when they started being more consistent with world champs that were low carders.
Nowadays, a lot more stars are being pushed.

Swagger, Sheamus, and Miz were all pushed in 2009-2010 and Sheamus was always a huge surprise when he was being pushed since no one expected it.
