WWE Smackdown Results
Feb. 21, 2014 – Colorado Springs, Colorado
Thanks to Joseph Steiger for sending in the following:
Main Event taping:
Alexander Rusev def Zach Ryder
Kofi Kingston def Curtis Axel w/ Ryback. During the match, Ryback attempted to attack Kingston and Mark Henry came out with the save. Also note, when Ryback was thrown out of the ring, his leg got caught up in the rope and he took and awkward fall. Whether he was just selling it or not, he limped very slowly backstage.
Cameron def Aksana w/Alicia Fox
The Shield def Los Madadores and Sin Cara. Surprisingly a hell of a match. Los Madadores had way more offense than expected. Roman Reigns was beyond over. He hit a HUGE double spear and then Rollins did the head step for the pin. Great match.
Daniel Bryan def Jack Swagger with the running knee in a quick bout.
After the match Vickie Guerrero came out with Kane and said Daniel did so well he earned another match. That match was with Cesaro and would take place right then.
Daniel Bryan def Cesaro via interference when Kane step in and hit Bryan with a chokeslam. Cesaro did alot of work as the heal, attacking an injured Bryan before he was even ready for the match.
The Wyatt Family def The Brotherhood and Rey Mysterio. Decent 6-way tag match. Goldust was in for the majority of the time, taking a good beating. He was pinned when Wyatt hit the sister Abigail.
Emma w/Santino vs Summer Rae w/Fandango in a dance off. Actually ended in just a dance off, no match. Emma won by a landslide, her dance seems to really be landing with the crowd.
Dolph Ziggler def Titus O'Neil. Darren young was on commentary. During the match he stood up on the announce table and blew a whistle, distracting O'Neil letting Ziggler pick up the pin.
Jey Uso w/Jimmy def Road Dogg w/Billy Gunn. Pretty quick match, Jey won hitting a super kick.
Sheamus def Christian with white noise. Christian was full on heel in this match. Alot of taunting, trying to run away up the ramp, etc… Constant taunting the crowd saying he will be the new champ this weekend. Sheamus dominated most of the match.
