CHARACTER DETAIL

Basic: Babyface that doesn't pander to the crowd much. Can "get out of his shell" around old friends but tends to follow a path of less flamboyancy. Able to deal with pain very well so he's always taken to hardcore matches, but makes his money in the technical/high-flying realm similar to a Daniel Bryan type. He's not as technically diverse as a Daniel Bryan or Roderick Strong but he can do the basic holds and submissions really smoothly. In the same light, he's not the aerial spectacle that Neville or Ricochet can be. He's a well-rounded worker but would not be considered the best at his craft in any particular area. Outside of the ring, Evan Flare is educated and calculated. He's not likely to be caught up in a war of words. Vignettes and pre-taped backstage promos have always been where Evan has gotten his points across. He is a control freak.

Basic:

Evan is a lot like Daniel Bryan in the WWE. He's a smaller wrestler, but he refuses to wrestle at a high-pace style unless he's forced to. It's a last-resort. He loves to wrestle a physical style with a lot of strikes. He is a former hardcore champion, so the hardcore nature sometimes comes out.

Signature Maneuvers and Strikes:

12-to-6 Elbows [strike(s)] - Straight up-and-down elbows usually done several at a time.

Bridging Armbar [submission] - Usually done from the side, Evan hooks his arm underneath the forearm of his opponent and places it on the upperarm. With his other arm, he locks the arm in place. He then bridges over the opponent

Front-Feed Uppercut Inziguri [strike-variation] - After a front kick is caught, Evan jumps into the air, kicking his opponent in the chin in an upperward motion.

Southern Arrow [turnbuckle] - Kaval/Low Ki's Warrior's Way

Spinning Back Fist [strike] - Although it can happen in many variations, the most common takes place with a standing opponent, where Evan Flare spins and connects with a back-handed fist to the face of the opponent.

Finisher

The Blood Reign [grapple] - Evan Flare puts his opponent in a gutwrench position, lifts him up, and rests him on one shoulder. He drops him off his shoulder, leaving him to fall at a 135 degree angle with his butt closest to the ground, he delivers a knee to the back of the opponent's head.

I'm trying to work The Blood Reign out. Is it like A-Train's old backbreaker move to begin with (as in how he holds them on the shoulders), but dropped into a weird Go To Sleep type thing to the back of the head?

Sounds close enough, although honestly I have no clue what A-Train's old backbreaker move is. I would say there isn't much of a pause up on the shoulders, just enough to get their weight balanced, but "weird go to sleep type thing" seems spot on.
