Ding,Ding,Ding!!

Riley and Solomon don’t move as the bell chimes three, they don’t attempt anything, they just stare at each other. Both are in the same mindset, both looking for weaknesses and looking for any opportunity to knock one of the other down. They begin circling each other, making sure not to put a foot wrong. They can’t risk anything here, can’t give an inch. Riley makes the first move, going in for a collar and elbow tie up. Solomon responds in kind and the pair lock up. Riley uses his weight advantage and powers Solomon into the corner, still locked up. The two struggle and neither man budges, Riley backs up but quickly gets in a boot to Solomon’s gut. He follows it up with a few more kicks before he walks back to the middle of the ring, never removing his eyes from Solomon who takes a few steps away from the turnbuckle. He’s still focused but you can see caution in his body language. He wasn’t expecting Riley to play dirty. The two go to lock up again but this time Solomon is the one who acts quickly, throwing a swift kick to the side of Riley’s leg. Riley backs up but Solomon follows up with another kick, this time to the abdomen. Solomon goes for a third kick but Riley has figured him out and grabs the foot, pushing him back with force and sending Solomon crashing to the mat. Solomon quickly rolls through and is back to his feet, stopping any follow up offence that Riley had in mind. Riley and Crow begin circling once again, showing what could prove to be a constant problem in this match. Both men are being cautious, both men know what their opponent can do, neither want to take the risk involved in making the first move. They move in close and once again Riley engages Solomon in a collar and elbow tie up lock but this time he works quickly, driving a knee into the ribs of his opponent. Solomon doubles over at the blow and Riley brings his arm up, driving it into Solomon’s jaw with a European uppercut that sends Solomon stumbling a few steps back. Riley grabs Solomon and throws him in the opposite direction with an Irish whip. As Solomon rebounds off of the ropes Riley runs at him, dropping low and sending both of his feet straight into Crow’s knee. Solomon is down on one knee now and Riley looks to strike quickly. He runs the ropes and dives at Solomon, sending his right elbow straight into the side of Solomon’s head. Crow’s head shoots backwards and he crashes to the mat in a heap. Both men are on the mat now but Riley pushes himself to his feet immediately. He’s working fast, almost feverishly in his offence, looking to work over Solomon quickly and without faltering. Grabbing Solomon by the arms he pushes him up into a sitting position. He moves behind Solomon, grabbing his neck in the process, and then drives a knee into his back. Solomon’s face contorts as Riley sends his knee into his spine for a second time. Riley lets go but leaves Solomon sitting up as he bounces against the rope and sends his foot straight into the back of Solomon’s head.

Ted: Wow! What a Kick to the head!

Joey: It was just a kick, nothing that big or special.

Riley pulls Solomon up to his feet, he thinks he has this match under control but he’s underestimated his opponent. Solomon thrusts a foot into Riley’s knee breaking Riley’s hold on Solomon’s head. Solomon connects with a second kick to the same leg, sending Riley down to his knees. Solomon sizes Riley up and swings another kick, this time directed at Riley’s head but Riley ducks. The crowd think this is where Riley goes back on the offensive but before anybody knows what has happened Solomon has brought the leg back around and it connects with the opposite side of Riley’s head to what Solomon was originally aiming for. It has the same effect however as Riley drops to his hands and knees. Solomon spots his opening immediately moving himself in front of Riley and dropping to his own knees. Solomon grabs Riley’s head, forcing it underneath his arm. Solomon then wraps his arm around Riley’s head, tucking it neatly and forcefully under his neck. Solomon moves his other hand, grabbing hold of his arm and proceeds to pull upwards with both of his hands. Solomon drops backwards into a sitting position and to the shock of the crowd has Riley locked in a Guillotine Choke. Solomon pulls on Riley’s neck and tries to manoeuvre his legs around Riley to close the guard. Crow is focused on closing the guard, his legs are close to locking up but Riley is struggling, more than a little life left in the veteran wrestler. His hands are moving with skill and finesse; each time Crow tries bringing his legs together Riley manages to push one of them away, at a few times twisting his arm into awkward positions, willing to take some pain if it stops Crow locking in the move further. The crowd are on fire now, sure that this match is over and not happy about it. As Crow tries one more time to latch on the legs Riley once again bats the leg away, placing his hands firmly on the mat and pushing hard. Riley has his hands firmly placed on the mat, blocking Crow from even trying to lock in the legs. He’s pushing as well, and he’s pushing with all of his strength. It looks like a desperate attempt initially, but soon people realise exactly what is going on as Riley forcefully lifts Crow off of the mat with the guillotine hold still locked in. The fans are on their feet and that just seems to be urging Riley on further as he lifts Crow up but instead of planting him down onto the mat like he initially looks set to do he charges at the turnbuckle and sends Crow back first into the turnbuckle, forcing the hold to loosen and allowing Riley to force himself out of it. Riley quickly backs up, holding his neck in discomfort but grinning none the less at a shocked Crow. He jumps from foot to foot, stretching his neck and shouting at Crow to come and try it again. Crow’s angered, his usual decorum faltering for a moment before he returns to his usual emotionally static expression, his focus now on making Riley tap more than ever before. The two move in closer to square off once again but before Riley can even make a move Crow has once again brought a foot up, this time looking for the ribs of Riley, only for Riley to move quicker, grabbing the leg and quickly turning it, sending Crow face first to the mat. Riley keeps hold of the leg, wrapping his arms around it and locking in one of his favoured submission holds, the Ankle lock.

Ted: Riley, who is now in control of this match up, looks to make Crow tap it so early in the match.

Joey: This man Crow is a Rebel, he won’t give up this early. Especially if he strongly believes in his beliefs of Riley.

Riley has the ankle lock locked in and he’s not budging, dropping down to his one knee in order to stay grounded and stopping Crow from reaching the ropes. Crow is in some pain but his face refuses to betray him, not showing the pain but rather the determination to escape the hold. He lifts himself up with his hands, giving him a little more leverage and making it harder for Riley to gain any grip on the mat. Crow pulls himself along the mat and while Riley tries his hardest to pull him back he seems to have forgotten about Crow’s other leg, which is stupid enough to do usually, let alone when he’s trying to make Crow tap out. Solomon brings his other leg up and his foot collides with Riley’s jaw. The blow isn’t enough for him to let go, but it gives Crow the opportunity to claw a few more inches to the rope. Crow’s foot once again collides with Riley’s jaw and Crow gains another few inches. Riley begins to pull him back but Crow smashes the boot straight into Riley’s ribcage, forcing him to relinquish the hold and allowing Crow to roll under the bottom rope and to the safety of the outside. Riley is winded from the kick but he’s got an idea and he charges towards the ropes, jumping through them and heading straight from Crow. But that’s when it happens, Crow see’s him coming and darts to the side, jumps up and brings his lethal feet with him. As Riley flies through the ropes he is met by the boot of his opponent, his own momentum carrying him straight into the kick and then straight onto the floor below face first. Beside the Piece of Glass that is lying on the Barricade. Riley doesn’t move an inch as soon as he hits the floor and Solomon gets a well needed breather. With there being no count outs in this match, Crow gets back to his feet and walks over towards where the steel steps are at, and lifts the piece that is rectangular shaped off the corner of the Barricade and carries it towards the ring apron. He lifts it above his chest and slides it beneath the bottom rope and slides into the ring. Meanwhile, Riley shows no sign of life. Solomon gets up and lifts the piece of glass up and places it onto the turnbuckle he then drops down and slides beneath the bottom rope and slowly pulls Riley to his feet. It’s difficult, because Riley isn’t moving an inch and Solomon is forced to lift the entire weight of his body. Solomon slowly rolls him into the ring before jumping up onto the ring apron. Instead of entering the ring however he sees his chance to add a little more pain and suffering to his opponent’s night. Climbing the opposite turnbuckle to where he placed the glass on, everyone wonders what Solomon is going for. Riley is stirring slightly but he’s clearly still pretty out of it and it looks like it could be all over for him. Solomon reaches the top turnbuckle and then signals for one of his many signature moves, the elbow drop. Leaping off of the turnbuckle he doesn’t have the time to see Riley’s arm fly out and grab the rope, using it to pull himself out of the way of the signature move. Solomon crashes feet first into the mat and he doesn’t have the opportunity to soften the impact, crashing into the mat in a painful heap. Riley is still groggy, pulling himself up by the ring ropes while Solomon grips his elbow in pain, clearly having taken the brunt of the impact awkwardly onto the mat. He refuses to show the worst of his pain however, and even when the referee is checking on him while he holds himself up by the ring ropes he refuses to admit to any pain.. Riley is up to his feet and seems to have gotten hold of his bearings. He turns, sees Solomon and something just clicks and we suddenly see a side of Riley that we aren’t entirely used to in the XWA. Riley walks up to Solomon, and just begins unmount on Solomon’s head delivering left and right punches towards him! Solomon covers his head as he raises both his arms up trying to block them but it is already too late as Riley gets up off of him and raises both his hands in the air celebrating with the crowd.

Ted: Riley is showing no mercy here tonight for his opponent and former partner, Solomon Crow!

Joey: Crow needs to get back into the match up quick!

Crow rolls out of the ring and holds his forehead in pain while the former New York and Floridan native stays on him as he rolls out of the opposite that Crow rolled out of and looks at the Announce table. He then points toward the table where Joey and Ted sit at and smiles. chuckling, almost as if his mind had turned evil. The Crowd applauds this and Riley wastes no time whilst, he walks toward the table, flips the cover, and begins to tear it apart.

Ted: I think Riley has some evil intentions in his mind!

Joey: You think?!?! Oh….!

Solomon grabs onto ring skirt and pushes it up, looking for a weapon. With the table now completely cleaned off, Riley turns his attention back to Solomon Crow. He starts walking back to him while Crow, already has found a weapon and now has it in hand. though, remains underneath the ring. The Hardcore Champion walks to where Crow is at and bends down grabbing a handful of his tights while pulling him up, Riley doesn’t know that Crow has a weapon in hand and just as he pulls Crow onto a vertical base, Crow pushes Riley, quickly lifts the chair beside his head and sends the Steel Chair flying across his face! Riley drops down onto the floor. The Deranged One looks down at Riley and simply grins. “Stay down!” he says angerly while dropping the Chair. Solomon pulls Williamson back up and drags him toward the ring apron. He then lifts him up and slides him underneath the bottom rope and shortly after, slides in as well as he goes for a quick cover.

Kickout by Riley.

Crow pulls Williamson back up and hits him with a few hard knees to the chest twice. After a third hit, Crow grabs Riley's leg. Riley hops up and down trying to grab the nearest rope in desperation. He may as well not even bother. Crow trips Riley up, who falls onto his back. Crow keeps his grip on Riley’s leg though and turns him over quickly putting Williamson's leg under his arm, he applies a Single leg Boston Crab! Riley screams in pain while XWA Official, Ryn Sanu drops to the mat and consistantly asks Riley if he gives. Crow tugs on the leg a bit more while the fans in attendance boo and jeer. Their boos only feed Crow more frustration to take out on Riley's leg. Riley shuffles towards the nearest rope slowly, desperately. Williamson shuffles just that bit further towards the ropes and now it looks like he's ready to reach for one. Riley lifts the arm to the ground up and not being able to see is affecting where he's putting it. He feels around on the ground before lifting his hand up and meeting the bottom rope finally. He puts his hand firmly on the top of it, much to the joy of the Toronto crowd. Crow doesn't let go yet though as Ryn Sanu can do nothing about it. Finally, Crow let's go of Riley, who's leg flops to the floor. Solomon pulls Williamson up by the top of his head. Leaning him against the top rope, Solomon steps back and takes a few minutes to gather himself back together. He takes a few moments to catch a breather, all the while Williamson shakes the cobwebs. After rehabilitating enough to get back into this match, Williamson stands himself up straight. Crow notices Riley getting to his feet and gets himself ready for whatever Riley has to throw at him. Riley pulls a face that is between a snarl and a grin and charges at Crow with such force it almost knocks Ryn Sanu out the way. Riley jumps at Crow with a crossbody, sending both guys to the mat. Riley gets back to his feet, pulling Solomon back up with him. He stands Crow up and before the deranged one knows it, Riley has his hands around The Brooklyn Native's neck. The Hardcore Champion tosses Solomon back-first into the turnbuckle, and leaves him in the corner. Riley goes over to the rope nearest to the turnbuckle and Riley, after grabbing the rope for support, begins to kick Crow repeatedly in the gut. He does this a couple of times until Crow falls down onto the floor. Riley ain't done yet though as he stomps on Crow's face but leaves the foot there, pushing Crow's head down to the mat. The fans cheer as they are enjoying seeing this.

Joey: This man is not letting Crow get up!!

Ted: And the Crowd seem to be enjoying this nonetheless.

Riley turns his head back and looks across the other side. There lies the glass that Crow set up earlier. The Chicago native, bends down, wraps his arm around the neck of Crow and pulls him up to a vertical base. He grabs onto Crow’s wrist and tries to Irish Whip him into the Glass but Crow counters, in the centre of the ring Crow reverses the move and tries to Whip Riley into it but he as well counters! A Inch away from the Glass table and Riley hits the brakes on his feet, he turns around and Crow charges at him trying to look for a Spear but at the last second Riley moves out of the way and Crow comes to a complete halt, grabbing onto the middle rope on both sides he stops as his nose is just a inch apart from hitting the Glass! Crow’s eyes widen, shocked that he almost went through the table. Riley who is behind Crow, begins to wait for Crow to turn around and just as he turns around Riley grabs onto Crows arm, lifts him up, and places him on his shoulders in a Fireman’s Carry. The Hardcore Champion moves closer to the table and Crow who is aware of this starts to deliver a few elbow shots towards the jaw of The Champion. This causes Riley to let go of him and as he holds his jaw in pain and turns around, Crow kicks him in the gut, puts his head beneath his arm and drops down hitting a DDT. The crowd Boo’s The Brooklyn Native whom is now rolling Riley over onto his back and goes for a cover.

Kickout by Riley.

Crow gets back up and pulls Riley up with him. He delivers a straight punch which sends Riley back abit. Crow stays on him and delivers yet another punch causing Riley to stumble back against the ropes. Crow grabs onto Riley’s wrist and sends him across the ring via, an Irish Whip. Just as Riley rebounds off the ropes Crow is waiting there already with a closed fist as he lunges it forward, Riley dunks it and goes toward the other side of the ring. Just as he rebounds, Crow turns back and is met with a flying shoulder block takedown by Williamson. Crow falls down onto the mat and squirms out of the ring immediately not letting Riley to capitalize. Riley runs back toward the ropes while Crow slowly walks over towards the Announce table trying to shake cobwebs off. As Riley makes it 3/4th across the ring, he goes inbetween the top and middle rope. Not knowing that Riley is coming he turns around and is pushed against the front of the announce table as Riley hits a Suicide Dive! Crow holds his back while Riley holds the back of his head. Both men stay down for a couple of minutes as they try to nurse whatever is bothering them. For Crow, it is his arm, and for Riley, his back has been bothering him since the get go. Following last week’s events from Vendetta 70, Riley’s back has been in bad shape since the attack he took from Crow. After a minute passes, it is Riley who makes the first move, using all fours he gets back up to a vertical base, sees Crow stirring and then grabs his ankle, wrapping his arms around it and once again locking in the ankle lock just like earlier on in the match. However, unlike earlier on this time there doesn’t seem to be an escape for Crow who is in absolute agony. He refuses to tap out however trying to grab the Ring-Skirt. He’s close to it, but Riley pulls him away with such force that Crow actually lifts off of the covered concrete floor and crashes right back down again. The more longer Crow is in the hold, the more pressure is being applied onto that leg. and Riley is just adding to it by tightening the already vice like grip he has on Crow’s already injured ankle. Solomon tries to hold on, he tries to struggle, he even tries to throw a kick but he’s not only out of range of Riley’s face since Riley is standing but he’s out of energy as well. It only takes a few more twists of the ankle. Riley is putting even more pressure onto the hold and eventually drops back, locking the legs around the leg and tightening his grip, pulling on the ankle. No matter how much Crow struggles he eventually begins to fade. His head drops to the covered floor.

Joey: Well….Now what?

Ted: I would assume that Riley would throw him into the ring and go for the cover.

Riley finally lets go of Crow’s foot and gets back up. The crowd applauds Riley and the champ soaks it all in. Nodding his head he looks at the crowd for a brief moment before turning his attention to what is about a foot away from him. Riley walks over to it and picks the piece of glass off of the corner. While walking back near the announce table, He places the Glass on top of the announce table and goes back to Crow. Dragging the deranged one up to his feet, Riley places him on top of the announce table and slowly walks back to the ring. Climbing up the ring apron, he goes through the top and middle rope and turns back to face Crow. Almost everyone in the arena is standing onto their feet as they watch with anticipation on what Riley has in store here.

Ted: I think we may have to move now…

Joey: I think so to….

*Joey and Ted quickly take off there headsets and move to where the ring announcers are sitting at* Just as they move, Riley grabs onto the top rope, springs on to the middle rope before jumping onto the top rope, lunges forward and with his right elbow right in front of his head, he sends his elbow right directly onto Crow’s chest! This causes the table to collapse, and the glass to shatter! Riley hits his Signature move, the Blading drop! (Elbow drop) A rapid amount of “HOLYSHIT!” chants begin to echo throughout the arena while both men remain down and motionless. XWA Officials begin to run to the aid of Riley and Crow as a replay is shown to the people watching at home. When we get back from the replay, we get a different reaction from the crowd as we see EMT’s attending to both men the crowd starts to Boo, knowing that this match could very well end right now. A minute passes by, and neither man have yet to say a word to the EMT’s so they end up calling for more backup, and more backup does indeed arrive but this time with stretchers being brung out. The Boo’s get more heavily while two more Officials come down with them.

Ted: I think this is it, neither man have yet to say a word to the EMT’s and neither have moved since the Incident.

Joey: This match cannot end up like this! This is a Hardcore Title match for gods sake! Stop treating these men like babies!!

They start to work on getting Crow onto the stretcher.

EMT 1: Okay, ready? 1..2..3…

They lift Crow off of the broken table and broken glass can be seen, along with several scares that are on the deranged one’s back. Crow is a bit shaken as they have him in a sitting position. While blood drips on the openly wounds on his back. Meanwhile, Riley begins to stir a bit. Placing his hand over on the announcers chair he pushes himself up and not a scar is seen on his back, nor a mark. The Officials help Riley up, while the EMT’s attempt to put Crow on the stretcher but Crow refuses, slowly getting back to a vertical base Solomon gets up on all fours and Crow, truly showing why he is called the deranged one, pulls Riley up to his feet before driving his fist into Williamson’s jaw with a vicious right hand, sending Williamson straight back to the floor. The EMT’s back away as well does the Officials and Crow mounts him immediately, unloading with vicious strikes. Riley brings his hands up to guard himself but he is only capable of blocking every couple of punches. Referee Ryn Sanu intervenes, pulling Crow off of Riley. Crow pushes Sanu back and immediately drives a knee into a now kneeling Riley Williamson. Ryn once again blocks Crow, shouting at him to let at least let Riley get up. Sanu’s interruption gives Riley Williamson time to get onto his knees and as Crow pushes past the referee and goes to grab Williamson he is caught off guard by an uppercut right hand which sends him stumbling back against the ring apron this allows Riley time to get back to his feet. Crow rolls underneath the bottom rope and re-enters the ring, Riley shortly follows after him. As Riley makes it to his feet Crow follows up on the right hand with further strikes before Irish whipping Riley to the ropes, connecting with a big clothesline on the return journey. Crow looks at the Crowd for a moment and points to his head grinning before he runs to the ropes, rebounds off of them and tries to drop a knee on his grounded opponent but Riley manages to roll himself out of the way. Riley sees The Brooklyn Native looking to follow up and as he gets to his knees charges at Crow. He catches him clean and pushes him back, slamming Solomon Crow against the turnbuckle. Williamson follows up by ramming his shoulder into the ribs of Solomon Crow. With Crow leaning against the turnbuckle Riley backs up to the opposite side of the ring, measuring Crow up. Riley charges and brings his foot up, looking to take Crow’s head straight off of his shoulders by Solomon Crow manages to get out of the way at the last minute. Riley adapts however, putting his raised foot on the middle turnbuckle and using it to push himself off, flipping over and nailing Solomon with a pele kick to the back of the head as both competitors hit the mat.

Ted: The momentum may now be in Riley’s corner now. We may see a Game changer here.

Joey: Both of these men are spent, Ted. But Riley better not win here tonight.

Ted: Why not?!

Joey: What do you mean, Why not!? This guy is a legend killer! I mean, look at the Career’s this guy has ended since winning the belt. Shade, Dante Cross, and now maybe his former Tag-Team partner! You know that these guys have families to feed and Riley is just being a ignorant little bitch right now..

Ted: I wish you would say that to his face.

Riley pushes himself to his feet while Solomon Crow remains on the mat after the vicious and shocking blow. Riley doesn’t intend to let up however as he grabs hold of Crow’s head and pulls him up to his knees before driving his elbow down into the shoulder blades of Crow. Williamson grabs Crow once again but instead of delivering more punishment he simply throws Crow into the middle of the ring, clearly wanting an easier area in order to continue his assault. Williamson slowly begins to stalk Solomon Crow as he gets onto his feet. Just as he does turn around, Riley lifts him up and tries to set up his Finisher move, The Torrential drop (F5) But again Crow blocks it. He delivers a few stiff elbow shots toward the temple of Williamson and Riley let’s go of him. Crow moves away and lays against the corner. He now stalks Riley. And as Riley turns around Crow charges forward, lifting Riley up he continues to charge forward and sends him through the Glass that was laying against the corner!

Ted: Good God ALMIGHTY!

Joey: Both of these men are broken in half! Good God KING!

After a few minutes, both men get back to wobbly vertical base. Both men have scars and blood dripping off of there back, and pieces of glass in there hair. Riley is the first one to act, delievering a kick to the gut Riley tries to hit the Stun of death but Crow counters, pushing Riley off of him Riley charges toward the ropes and whilst he comes back Crow tries to Clothesline him but Riley dunks and stops to a complete hait. Crow turns around and Riley kicks him in the gut, puts his head on his shoulders, drops down and hits the Stun of death! (Stunner) Riley lands on Crows chest, going for the cover.
