Vendetta returns from a brief commercial break, shock horror, and the ring has been cleared following the Riley Williamson vs. Rellim Strife match. As we get back to business, the atmosphere is simply electric in the MTS Centre, the fans are jammed packed in their seats with their beverages ready… but BAH to all that, let’s go to the titantron for a Niko L. Genero promo backstage!!

Ted Cedar
"Oh here we go! This should be interesting!!"

Joey Miles
"Damn it!"

The arena lifts at the image of XWA’s favourite ginger, standing beside Christina Clair. It should be dearly noted that Niko is not in his wrestling gear tonight.

Christina Clair
"Ladies and gentlemen… Niko L. Genero!"

Niko L. Genero
"Niko L. Frickin’ Genero!!"

Niko shifts from boot to boot, he’s hot, he’s big!! The ginger star had been on a high all week after defeating Dominik Diveraz, and he stands with Christina like a boss.

Christina Clair
"So Niko… no match tonight?"

Niko L. Genero
"I know right?!! How could they forget me? I’m on the back of an epic win!!"

Christina Clair
"Astronomical win actually Niko."

Niko L. Genero
"Thank you!"

Christina Clair
"So Niko, you’ve had a great month, not completely flawless but a great month nonetheless and I have to ask, what is happening at Cyberslam?"

Niko L. Genero
"Well Christina, I’m glad you asked. Because right now behind this door is the General Manager himself, Razor Xtreme!"

Niko gestures with his thumb at the solid door behind him, clearly printed “GENERAL MANAGER” in marker pen, Niko grinning with accomplishment.

Christina Clair
"Wait what?"

Niko L. Genero
"I’m going in there to get my match right now!"

Christina Clair
"What? Don’t go in there Niko, not without an appointment!!"

Niko doesn’t even knock, letting himself in.

Niko L. Genero
"Pfft! Appointment!! I don’t need one baby, I’m Niko L…"

Flattened. Instantly flattened. Niko is put down by the people-stopper in an instant, and smacks against the concrete as the 285 pound bulldozer they call Maddox Paine decimates Niko’s abdomen with a tremendous SPEAR! Within seconds the backstage corridor becomes chaotic as staff seem to materialise from all directions trying to divide the two men up.

"GORRRRE!! GORRRRE!! GORRRRE!!!"

Between the “HEY HEY!!” noise of the flock of staff and the sound of Maddox Paine’s deep-noted grunting, the General Manager himself steps out of the office and the cluster of staff part around him like a river to a rock. Razor bending down to inspect the damage.

Razor Xtreme
"Did you get him?! Wait who the blue waffle is this guy? THAT’S NOT SHADE YOU IDIOT!!"

Maddox looks up to Razor, then back down to Niko blankly, whilst Razor takes off his hater-blockers for a better look and begins rubbing his forehead in stress.

Razor Xtreme
"Great! You just killed that Niko guy! I ask you to do one thing for me Maddox, one simple thing! Damn it, what kind of personal security are you, you maniac!!"

Niko L. Genero rears his head, a thin string of blood connecting his bottom lip to the cold concrete and Niko spits whatever he can at Maddox in a crimson spray and Niko chuckles aloud, prompting Maddox to tear Niko from the mat.

Razor Xtreme
"No!! Bad Maddox, bad!! Put him down! DOWN! DOWN! DOWN!!"

Razor stamps on the concrete in a mini-tantrum as Maddox props Niko precariously across his shoulder, but this does little to stop Maddox now. The tension builds and Maddox charges right through the doorway of the General Manager’s office and smashes Niko against a large Razor Xtreme portrait, which audibly cracks behind his shoulders. Groaning as he melts from the wall and dizzily steps towards the table, Niko takes a moment, leaning back against the table and it is at this point Maddox Paine arches back with a tremendous roar from deep within his chest, shoving Nikos head between his legs in the Powerbomb position. Razor, oblivious to this as he is in a panic over his self-portrait, turns around in hysterics and immediately shrieks as a high pitch as Maddox POWERBOMBS Niko to hell, the very top of the desk splitting in half beneath him and Niko is lifelessly sprawled out star-fished.

Razor Xtreme
"Shit!! SHIT?!!!"

Razor rips back his own hair with his hands on his head, eyeballing the destruction as the staff are in silent shock around him.

Razor Xtreme
"GET BACK TO WORK!!!"

Razor cups his mouth, pulling down to his chin before he starts waving his finger about in front of him.

Razor Xtreme
"This is some serious shit Maddox, legal shit but you know what, you know what! You’re facing THIS guy… at Cyberslam! Yes! Maddox Paine… Niko L. Genero… in a TABLES match!!! Perfect! Nobody’s smarter than meeee!!!"

Razor Xtreme breaks into a maniacal grin and slaps Maddox on the cheek affectionately, and the camera pans down on Niko L. Genero out cold.

"Maddox Paine... Niko L. Genero in a Tables match at Cyberslam by order of the General Manager!!"

Shocking... and the show goes on.

Awesome portrayal of both characters Caine, I loved reading this. Excellent work. clap
