Platinum Dunes, who produced the 2009 remake, are whispered to be returning to Camp Crystal Lake but at this stage there’s nothing more than a March 13, 2015 release date for the movie.

Is the series really that popular? Other then two of the movies they really weren't that good.

Haven't seen that much good slasher flicks so it'll be good.

If there's a new Jason movie, not too far away is a Freddy movie.

I'm a fan of this series, and liked the 2009 remake, so cool.

Popularity doesnt necessarily mean a good movie or series. They're classics amongst horror fans and thats probably good enough.
