"Welcome to XWA CyberSlam Pre-Show here in the 'Air Canada Centre' in Toronto, Ontario, Canada! The only way you can watch this is by watching it on streaming services such as Xbox, YouTube, PlayStation, or even your Cell Phone device! We still have fans filling into the arena! I am Adam Dennis and I'm sitting next to my co-commentator Ted Cedar!"
Ted Cedar:
"Last week, C5 Ion was in a Triple Threat match against Xtreme Icon and Dylan Breywell, he put in so much effort and he was defeated in his debut match by being pinned by Breywell. Tonight, C5 Ion looks to regain redemption by defeating Sir Spud! It looks like Sir Spud is all business tonight as he is in the ring waiting for his opponent..."
Laura Walts:
"The following contest is scheduled for One Fall! Introducing first, in the ring right now, from Birmingham, West Midlands, England, weighing in at 130 pounds, Sir Spud!"
Ted Cedar:
"To be honest Adam, I don't think Spud has the mentality to win this match...Ion has alrrady have a feeling to what it takes to be in the XWA-Universe. But, Sir Spud, I don't know..."
Fear Nothing by Jim Johnston hits, and the crowd starts to buzz. From backstage, C5 Ion emerges, and walks out to the ramp, bouncing slightly. He looks around and let's out a bloodcurdling howl before racing down to the ring and sliding in.
Laura Walts:
"And his opponent, from Indianapolis Indiana, weighing in at 213 pounds, C5 Ion!"
He scrambles up a turnbuckle and howls again, and this time the fans respond with their own howls. Ion hops off the turnbuckle and heads to his corner, where he awaits his opponent.
Adam Dennis:
"But, don't forget Ted, Sir Spud has been traveling all over the world as a professional wrestler...But this natch is underway, so let's get into it..."
DING! DING! DING!
Spud goes for the legs, but Ion moves out of the way and Ion with a front face lock. As Spud is in the headlock, he swings his right leg for a single leg trip and Ion rolls off the mat and gets away from Spud. Spud and Ion lock up, and Spud with the upperhand, and with a waist lock out of a wrist lock. Ion avoids an abdominal stretch and Ion with a unique abdominal stretch. Spud back kicks Ion in the thigh and applies a wrist lock into a rollup.
Adam Dennis:
"That was an impressive rollup by Spud. I don't think I've seen a move transitioned into rollup so smoothly before."
Ted Cedar:
"Spud really showed that he might have a chance in this match with he keeps going after the arm of C5 Ion."
ON-KICKOUT
Ion with the shoulder up, breaking the pin attempt only at 2. Spud goes and tries to pick up Ion and Ion shifts his body, applying a body scissors roll up.

TW-KICKOUT
Ted Cedar:
"Spud kickouts...That was an very innovative move by Ion."
Spud with a front face lock into a double underhook and Spud works on the arm and wrist of Ion. Spud pulls the arm of Ion and whipping him into the ropes. Ion bounces off the ropes and rolls off Spud's back and pulls Spud with an arm drag into an armbar. Ion starts to work on the arm with a splash. Spud pulls Ion to the mat by the hair and Spud with a side head lock. Ion tries to reverse the headlock and he starts to get up as he hears the sound of the XWA crowd and Ion pushes Spud off of him and bounces off the ropes and goes for a leapfrog, but Spud catches him and hits a Dropkick. While Ion is on the ground, Spud slaps Ion in the head, but Ion kicks Spud away. Spud comes back towards Ion, but Ion with a head scissors off the mat. Ion sees his opportunity and goes for a springboard Back Kick. Spud goes to the floor and the referee holds Ion back. The Referee bends over the top rope telling Spud to get back in the Ring, as Ion turns around and runs towards the ropes, bouncing off.
Adam Dennis:
"Spud to the floor and it looks like Ion wants to go after him...Wait! What is Ion doing!?!"
The camera sees Ion sprinting and Ion rolls over the Referee, landing on Spud with a Rope flip Plancha. Ion and Spud are down on the outside.
Ted Cedar:
"Ion just probably showed who is the best highflyer in this match! That Plancha to the outside was amazing! I wonder who can step up in this match.."
Adam Dennis:
"Both men are layed out in front of us on the outside if the ring. That was crazy what Ion just did!"

"The Ref is up to a five count right now...Will these men make it in time?"

NINE-BOTH MEN ROLL BACK INTO THE RING
Ted Cedar:
"Luckily these men made it back in the ring or this match would've been over."
Ion and Spud both start pulling themselves up off the mat, using the ropes and they both trade blows to the face. Ion with a right, Spud with a right, Ion with a right, Spud with a kick to the midsection. Spud sees the opportunity and applies a rear chin lock and head butt to Ion. Ion falls to the mat, on his back and Spud with a leg drop to the back of the neck. Spud with a front face lock and he chokes Ion in the ropes. Spud with an elbow drop. Spud with another explosive elbow drop. Spud returns to the rear chin lock. Spud with knees to stop Ion’s attempt to get back into the match. Spud kicks and slaps Ion in the ropes. Ion with punches but Spud with another knee to stop Ion. Spud Irish whips Ion into the ropes and Ion bounces back with a clothesline...Then another clothesline...Then Ion is sent to the ropes again by Spud and Ion bounces off, rolling off Spud's back, and Ion lifts his leg and kicks Spud in the face by hitting Spinning Heel Kick.
Adam Dennis:
"That kick looked very vicious coming from Ion. That might if knocked Spud out..."
Ion sets for a SuperKick but Spud rolls to the apron. Ion walks over to Spud, who is standing on the apron, and pulls Ion's head, bouncing him off the top rope. Spud comes back in the ring and he hits a quick leg drop to the back of the head to Ion. Spuds lifts Ion off the mat and hits a running European uppercut. Spud tries for a Powerbomb, but Ion counters for a sunset flip but a Spud does not go over and Spud sits down onto Ion in a Rana pin.

TW-KICKOUT
Spud lifts Ion off the mat and takes him into the corner and Spud with punches in the corner. Spud misses a charge into the corner when Ion moves and Ion with a forearm to send Spud to the floor. Ion goes for a slingshot rana but Spud catches him in a Powerbomb position, but Ion is able to hit the rana and Ion sends Spud into the ring steps. Ion with a clothesline off the apron and then he brings Spud back into the ring. Ion runs into an elbow. Spud sends Ion over his shoulders but Ion lands on the turnbuckles. Ion goes for a cross body but Spud catches him. Ion counters with a rollup.

THR-KICKOUT
Spud with a uppercut and then he connects with a double leg drop. Spud with a single leg crab. Ion kicks Spud to escape the hold and Ion with a quick rollup.
ONE
TW-KICKOUT
Ted Cedar:
"Spud with the shoulder up...I don't kmow who's going to pull out this win anymore!"
Ion tries for a Single Leg Dropkick, but Spud blocks it and he applies a Foot DDT and goes into a single leg crab. Ion goes for the bottom rope, but Spud pulls Ion into the center of the ring. Ion fights through the pain and he is able to make it to the ropes. Spud sends Ion into the turnbuckle from the apron. Spud goes for a superplex to Ion on the apron and he gets a near fall. Spud with a slam and he hits another double stomp, this time to the midsection but Ion kicks out at two. Spud returns to the single leg crab. Ion kicks Spud away but Ion has trouble getting back to his feet. Spud with a drop kick and then he tries for the Tornado DDT. Ion with a back body drop but Spud lands on his feet. Ion sends Spud into the ropes and then, Spud goes for a quick clothesline, and Ion ducks, catching Spud by the arm, picking Spud up in a Backbreaker rack, and slams Spud down by spinning it into a Samoan drop, hitting the Fulfill the Matrix.
Adam Dennis:
"I think Ion just 'Fulfilled the Matrix' just now to Sir Spud!"
Ted Cedar:
"Spud had to be out of it! Ion might pick up his first win!"

Laura Walts: "Here is your winner of this match...C5 Ion!"
Adam Dennis:
"This is how a pre-show should start out. Ion and Spud showed why this is XWA and it doesn't matter where your placed on the card!"
Ted Cedar:
"In my opinion, Ion had to win this match to show management that he's serious about being in this XWA. He has a bright future ahead of him here. Now let's check out that finish one more time and then get ready to head backstage."
:REPLAY:
Ion with a back body drop but Spud lands on his feet. Ion sends Spud into the ropes and then, Spud goes for a quick clothesline, and Ion ducks, catching Spud by the arm, picking Spud up in a Backbreaker rack, and slams Spud down by spinning it into a Samoan drop, hitting the 'Fulfill the Matrix'.
Adam Dennis:
"Let's keep the action going after we head backstage and see what's going on with Lumber Jill..."
The camera swings around from the announce table looking at the live crowd in the arena and then the camera fades into backstage with Lumber Jill is standing at. |
