McFly and Busted have hinted at plans to form a supergroup.
The two pop-rock bands have teased the idea of merging together to make a six-piece group in 2014 after they invited the media to an announcement on November 11 in London.
The event will be hosted by Emma Willis, while the members of McFly - consisting of Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter, Harry Judd and Danny Jones - and Matt Willis and James Bourne from Busted will be present during the announcement.
McFly and Busted recently became McBusted for the day after they joined forces to perform at McFly's tenth anniversary concert at London's Royal Albert Hall, where they performed classic hits 'Year 3000', 'Air Hostess' and 'Shine A Light'.
Tom previously told The Sun newspaper: ''We had an amazing time performing with Busted on stage. It was so much fun. We didn't expect the kind of reaction we got.
''The fans are going crazy over the collaboration, especially on Twitter. The reaction has made us think that we should do something else together as a joint band.
''We've spoken to Busted and already started to throw around some ideas. So watch this space!''
Meanwhile, McFly are set to release their new single 'Love Is On The Radio' on November 24, and their new album is expected to drop in Spring 2014.
