According to PWInsider, Janice Carter released an internal memo in which she said she normally stays away from rumors but she had to comment and she said that TNA is not looking to sell it's ownership stake and that she is committed to the company.

I believe it is being shopped -- too much smoke for there not to be a fire, and all the cost-cutting efforts fit the model of someone selling because that makes the books look more attractive to potential buyers.

Whether it will be bought is a different matter. I can't see that the return on investment would be worth it at any price.

I would have to imagine that at this point, moral would be extremely high if it were sold. As long as it wasn't to Vince anyway.


And as a TNA fan since its debut on Spike, the fact that Dixie may indeed not sel devastates me  

I am with SaintPat. I think they are weighing their options, and just now they are doing damage control since someone spilled the beans.
