It's time to rebuild those Redskins!

Only change from my last franchise is I'm doing 8 min quarters instead of 7. I'm starting from Week 12 on Thanksgiving day

Right now it's just the current Football Team roster. Time to rebuild this pile of crap.

Aight we're on Week 16 now. I took the team over in Week 12 on Thanksgiving with a 3-7 record. We're now sitting at 5-9 for 2nd place in the NFC (L)East.

I started off with Alex Smith but we've moved back to Haskins. Gotta see what we have in him before we consider moving on. And tbf he has not played poorly, he's played well in fact. Putting up big numbers in a dominant win over the 49ers & a game that came down to the wire vs. the Seahawks. Albeit he threw 2 picks in the 4th quarter, including a game-losing INT in the final seconds.

We'll continue to see what we have in the guy as we try to make the playoffs while 100% below .500 record

Feel good moment for RG3 getting back on the field with a win in his return to Washington. Wasn't the prettiest but he got the job done

Shit went sour with RG3 fast Haskins is lowkey kind of a baller tho Bit rough of a last game BUT he played well late, brought us back & then with the game tied he made a huge deep pass to Scary Terry in the final seconds with 0:02 on the clock to help us get the 27-24 win to end the game.

Very next game, Haskins throws for 404 yards with 3 TD 2 INT & a fumble In a 41-38 OT victory over the Lions.

My guy is Fameis Elite. But not only that... he throws a crushing INT late in the 4th quarter when the game is tied (leading the team down for a TD to tie the game in the drive before that). But the Lions only go up by 3. In about a minute with 1 timeout left, Haskins drives down for the game-tying FG. Lions get ball first in OT and score a FG. Haskins drives down again for the game winning TD drive.

PS. Randy Moss's son got his first taste of playing time. Thaddeus Moss: 3 catches for 22 yards as the backup TE in this one. BUT he made a HUGE 12 yard catch on about 3rd & 5 in OT that really propelled the squad to another W

Holy shit the Football Team are having a SEASON under Haskins Gaining tons of confidence with playing as Haskins. Dude is NICE in this game. Fumbles a lot tho (you'll see in the stats below)

Insane stretch of crazy close games within this 6-game winning streak right now. Last 2 games were the best yet.

So Week 11 was a nasty OT thriller. Sent to OT with a late game-tying FG & won in OT in the final few seconds - previously Haskins had fumbled deep into Giants territory, giving them the chance to win it but the defense came up with some big stops & after getting the ball back with about a minute or so left in OT, Haskins capitalized, making up for his disastrous fumble with a game winning FG drive (as he's done so many times this season)

Then, Week 12 turns out to be an absolute SHOOTOUT & crazy duel between Haskins & Mahomes where the young stud Haskins prevailed (statistically & with the W). Game won in the final second of the game with a chip shot FG after Haskins drove the team down the field for the 82382959235th time 51-48 win, super fun back and forth game

Haskins: 153.1 QBR, 33/44 535 yards 5 TD 0 INT
Mahomes: 140.7 QBR, 29/41 394 yards 5 TD 0 INT

WFT are Super Bowl Champions!!!!! We did it for Riverboat Ron

We went into the playoffs at 11-5 as the #2 seed in the NFC & Haskins was fantastic. Terry came up BIG in the Super Bowl to help destroy the KC Chiefs & Kermit the Frog Mahomes.

I'll probably continue at least one more season of this franchise regardless, maybe even do a few more.

And now, we going into Year 3, 2022-2023 season

Week 1 of the 2022-2023 season was the WFT's finest game yet

Double perfect QBR's 0 incomplete passes between both QB's

Not gonna bother posting the full stats yet, just had to show this joint 29/29 passing performance before getting into Game 2. The rushing in this game wasn't anything special tho (outside of the QB's too lol)... Gibson ran for 4 ypc. But Mostert & White did look pretty good in their debuts

6-2 run so far going into the Week 9 bye

Last game Haskins was having a rough one, then got hurt on a sack. He was ok to return to the game but we kept Daniels in there to see what he can do since Haskins was getting roughed up anyway. Daniels had himself a decent game. Came in down 21-6... final score 31-23 and driving at the end of the game.

The WFT got within 8 with under a minute left to play (30 something secs left), 0 timeouts and GOT THE ONSIDE RECOVERY. From there, Daniels drove the team down the field but on the final run of the game by Daniels he was stopped 2 yards short of the TD with 0:00 left on the clock.

So close but no cigar

Regardless, fell to 6-2, 1st in the NFC East with the Cowboys in 2nd with a 6-3 record

We finish at 14-2 with the #1 seed going into the playoffs

NOTE: I turned the injury frequency up a bit at some point around mid-way (just before) through the season. I don't think it did toooo much (my OL were getting injured constantly tho ) but towards the end we did see a lot of guys go down with injury. I kinda like it better this way as I like throwing in different guys and seeing how they do

That said, DeVonta Smith was able to return the next week but I kept him out a couple extra weeks just to not risk further injury for the playoffs and again, to see what other guys could do. Smith regressed this year as well but that's more to do with me trying to get a lot of guys involved in the offense.

With Haskins, we just got him out there so he could break the single season passing yards record and then took him right out after that drive was complete (first drive of the game - ended in a FG). Jayden Daniels looked goooooooood in this season finale
