We're doing All-Pro, 10 minute quarters. I'm simming defense, as I /think/ Ian and TJ are also planning on doing, dunno about Jay. Jay faces Ian week 1, which should happen tomorrow. I'm the only one to do my week 1 game yet, where I beat the Falcons 37-31. I hate that you don't handle kick returns and PATs when simming defense. My team missed a PAT on my second touchdown and we should've got the ball at the kickoff in the third quarter, but I'm guessing my team fumbled on the kickoff, because they got the ball back. Regardless, I ended up winning. Scored on 5 drives, kicked a field goal one further time and the only drive where I didn't get points was right before halftime. Got the ball with, like, 3 seconds left before half and I went for a hail mary and got picked (my only pick thrown of the game). Relied heavily on Kamara. 34 rushes for 236 yards and a touchdown. Clyde only saw the ball 3 times (for 13 yards). Dak threw four touchdowns, but only had 13 of 15 completions for 211 yards. Dante Pettis led in receiving yards, but only because I managed to break out a short pass into a 73 yard touchdown.

TJ had a time with his game. Also, I'll be relocating/rebranding my team in the second season. This was decided before we began, tbh. The reason I got the Seahawks was because Ian wanted Seattle to lose a team. EDIT: I've decided to go with the Portland River Hogs.

| All the stuff you could've said and you chose that. You specifically decided on those words.
Side note: Me and Jay have similar overall ratings for our teams. Good offense, bad defense. I think I'm 83 overall, 87 offense, 77 defense and he's 84 overall, 88 (or 89?) offense and 77 defense. But our teams are also the polar opposites in that my team is young as fuck and his is old as fuck. I have one player in his 30s (Brandon Brooks, because he was available late as fuck and I didn't have a RG yet) and, other than that, my entire team is 27 years old or younger. I have a bunch of rookies, too, including 3 of my 4 running backs and 2 of my wide receivers. I specifically wanted to draft as young a team as I could, while Jay's looking for one great year out of some of his players and then replacing them in the rookie draft. |

Updated: TJ has yet to play his week 5 game (he's having some problems and needed a break for his own sanity, tbh ), but the records are there through the first 5 weeks aside from TJ's next game. Also updated the rosters; mainly mine and Ian. Ian signed a few less important players and we made a trade. I sent him Dak Prescott, he sent me Teddy Bridgewater and his first round picks in the 2021 and 2022 drafts. The Seahawks had apparently already traded away their first round picks for those years, so now I have one first round pick each year. Teddy's been good so far for me, tho. Through his first two games, 8 passing touchdowns, 2 rushing touchdowns and 3 picks. He won player of the week in the second game for me. Over 400 yards, 80%+ completions, 5 passing touchdowns, 2 rushing touchdowns, 2 picks in that game. In my third game with him, the most recent won, he had 2 picks and no touchdowns, but he still had decent yards and a decent completion percentage. I just had a chance to upgrade Kamara to an X-Factor player if I got him 4 touchdowns, so all 4 touchdowns I got in that game were runs from him. 3-0 since getting Teddy, tho.

Upgraded records. I'm the only team to have their by week so far. We just had our first player vs. player game, with Ian beating TJ. But I'm about to have a stretch of player vs player games. I face JHalc this week, then Ian, then a CPU game, then TJ and then Jay again.

The first player-vs-player game has concluded. Jay defeated me, 48-45. I kept it a lot closer than I expected, tbh. I thought either I'd be blown out from the start or I'd keep it close until about halftime and then it'd go to shit for me. So, to keep it that close, I'm alright with it, tbh. And I managed to get a pick that was very nearly a pick 6 (returned to the three yard line) and a few fumbles, one of which was a fumble 6. He got some long plays off on me, though, while the majority of my offense was very short gains, slowly making my way down t he field. My one long play was a 70 or so yard passing touchdown to Chase on the last play before half, that I fully didn't expect to get.

Half-way through the season, trade deadline just passed. So, here are some updates. Ian destroyed me. Like, he pounded my passage. TJ finally got sick of Baker Mayfield's shit and dropped him. Not traded, dropped. Jay then went and signed on Baker, after Ian and I decided not to. TJ signed Brett Rypien as his new back-up, while bumping Stidham to starting duties. Brandon Brooks came back from injury in week 8, just in time for me to trade him. I gave him and two picks (2021 round 4, 2022 round 2) to the Bengals for their first round 2021 pick, which is currently projected to be #3 overall. Might go down, since they have Brandon Brooks now, but it should still be a top 10 pick. JHalc release his two back-end RBs, Wes Hills and Kenneth Dixon. All these updates have been applied to the first post. Also, Dante Pettis got upgraded to the star development trait after a two touchdown game.

I hope you guys use TheMonkeyMan draft class (well, if you're using real life draft classes) Dude has the drafts lined up through 2024 & they're pretty damn realistic & no repeated players / all real life guys etc.

Three more weeks left. TJ dipped after the game kept being stupid (and, y'know, all the losses), so I've striked out his stuff, but I'll keep updating the record for his team because it's in our division. He left after week 9. I've updated with the records now that we have 3 games left. Jay's first in the division, followed by Ian and then myself, although all three of us are looking like playoff teams. I'll do a big update with all of the stats for our major players once the season's done. Terry McLaurin would have a bigger season for me if he hadn't gotten injured for 4 weeks. Speaking of injuries, Kamara was taken out for 3 weeks. Although, I kinda like getting Clyde more touches. He's barely been used in the running game, but he's been used decently in the passing game. But he hadn't reached 500 downs played yet, which unlocks his development trait. He had just over 400 before Kamara got injured and now, after his first game starting, he's got 468, so it looks like I'll get his trait after the next game.

All three of us made it to the playoffs. Ian and I played our wildcard games. I beat the Falcons 56-27. He beat the Giants 96-12 (RIP Giants). Jay also has a wildcard game (he was the #2 seed in the NFC, behind the Packers), but he hasn't played it yet. He'll be facing the Bears.

Updated the original post with key offense stats for me, Ian and Jay. One thing to note, as mentioned earlier, Ian and I swapped QBs somewhat early on. All stats are for the entire year, so they include the first two games where Dak was on my team and Teddy was on his. Likewise, Jay picked up Baker when TJ rage-released him and so it includes the stats from his time on TJ's team (which, I believe, includes 15 interceptions). I think TJ had Baker through 8 weeks, including his bye. Also, Baker was listed as having played 17 games. Dude was dropped from the Rams after playing on Sunday, got picked up by the Cardinals and played for them on the same day.

The Cardinals (Jay's team) and the Seahawks (mine) have relocated and rebranded. His team is now the San Diego Aftershocks and mine is now the Portland River Hogs. I've updated this in the main post. I've also unstriked TJ's stuff, because he says he'll be rejoining us. He won't be available to do the deal for a few days, but once he is, we'll do all the off-season stuff, rookie draft, etc., get past the preseason and then I'll make any upgrades necessary to our rosters in this thread.

We're in the second season. TJ rejoined us, as he said he would in the off-season. Jay gave him Jameis for a 7th round 2022 pick. We did some free agency stuff, did the draft deal and simmed the pre-season. A few players retired. I don't remember who all, though I know there were, like, 6 or 7 of Jay's players, 1 of TJ's (Emmanuel Sanders) and ... maybe 1 of Ian's? None of mine retired, although Pete Carroll did, so I had to get a new coach. I've updated the original post with the rosters as they are now. Aside from the retirements and Jay/TJ trade, the following changes were made ("released" counts people put on the practice squad): Portland River Hogs (Me) drafted Micah Parsons, Justin Fields, Richie Grant, Joshua Ross, TJ Vasher and Curtis Gold. I picked up Reggie Gilliam in free agency. I released Kyle Allen, DeeJay Dallas, Jakobi Meyers, David Long Jr. and Geno Stone. Dante Pettis passed Gage on the depth chart. I also did some position switching, mainly moving some LOLB and ROLB around and similarly LG and RG. I wasn't planning on drafting a QB, but I had the 4th and 32nd overall picks due to two trades and Justin Fields was still available at 32. 49ers (Ian) drafted Rondale Moore, Jimmy Morrissey and Robert Cooper. He signed A.J. McCarron, Joshua Kelley, Ryan Switzer, Jesse James, Drew Sample, B.J. Goodson, Kristian Fulton, Essang Bassey. He traded Chandon Sullivan to the Bears for a 5th round pick. He released Blaine Gabbert, Tyler Ervin, Jake Kumerow, Logan Thomas, Derek Carrier, Alex Cappa, Derek Rivers, Isaiah Buggs & Ty Summers. Rams (TJ) drafted Daniel Faalele, Hamilcar Rashed Jr., Xavier Kelly & Jermaine Flynn. He signed Antonio Gibson, Qadree Ollison, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Damiere Byrd, Jalen Hurd, Darren Fells, Logan Stenberg, T.J. Smith Jr, Kyle Phillips & Eli Apple. He traded Oshane Ximines to the Buccs for a fourth round 2022 pick. He released Brett Rypien, Darrell Henderson Jr., La'Mical Perine, Cedrick Wilson, DeAndre Carter, Tommy Sweeney, Sam Tevi, Austin Bryant, Greg Gaines, Taylor Stallworth, Alex Singleton, Vosean Joseph & Josh Harvey-Clemons. Aftershocks (Jay) drafted Journey Brown, Joseph Ossai & Kion Pollard. He signed Sam Darnold, Justice Hill, John Ross III, Tee Higgins, Laquon Treadwell, Andre Dillard, Dennis Daley, Lamont Gaillard, Will Richardson Jr., Michael Davis & Ahkello Witherspoon. He did a bunch of trades, some to get players and some to get draft picks. Most notably, he traded Edelman for K.J. Hamler and a draft pick. He released David Fales, Greg Van Roten, Ty Nsekhe, Adarius Taylor & J.J. Wilcox. To start the season off, Ian faced Jay week 1. TJ and I have CPU opponents. I won my game, Ian beat Jay and TJ will play his tomorrow. In week 2, I got Ian. Ian then faces TJ in week 3.

| Mid-season update. Ian's currently leading the division with a perfect 8-0. I'm second with 6-2, followed by Jay with 5-3 and then TJ with 3-5. These were the head-to-head games: Week 1: Aftershocks (Jay) | 33 - 40 | 49ers (Ian) Week 2: 49ers (Ian) | 42-28 | River Hogs (Me) Week 3: 49ers (Ian) | 25-22 | Rams (TJ) Week 4: Aftershocks (Jay) | 41-48 | Rams (TJ) Week 5: Aftershocks (Jay) | 54-52 | River Hogs (Me) Week 6: Rams (TJ) | 27-34 | 49ers (Ian) Week 8: River Hogs (Me) | 55-52 | Aftershocks (Jay) Only 1 of the first 8 weeks didn't have a H2H game. Ian started off with 3 in a row. Still left are in weeks 11 (Me vs. Ian II), 12 (Jay vs. Ian II), 14 (Me vs. TJ I), 16 (Me vs. TJ II) and 17 (TJ vs. Jay II). My games with Jay were a time. Almost the exact same score, but reversed. First, he beat me 54-52 and then I beat him 55-52. Both games ended with a game winning field goal on the last play. The scores were very similar to that Chiefs/Rams game a few years ago, which I believe was 54-51. Stat-wise, the current passing yards leader is my boy Teddy Bridgewater with about 4.316. I also lead in passing touchdowns with 31. Unfortunately, I ALSO lead in interceptions, with 19, although I'm second for starting QBs in completion % (77; Dak is leading for Ian at 80%). I just go for way more passes than anyone else. I have 426 passing attempts in 8 games. Second place is 301. Derrick Henry is currently leading in rushing yards for TJ, with 1,171. He, by far, throws the least of us, so this isn't surprising. Behind him is Journey Brown for Jay, who is trying to get offensive rookie of the year. Then, it's Ian's Aaron Jones. Then there's Kamara for me, all the way back at 8th, because of how much passing I do. Although, Kamara is 4th in rushing TDs, with 10. Journey Brown leads there, then Henry, then Kamara. Top two receivers, as far as receiving yards goes, both belong to me. Mark Andrews is actually leading the league with 1,183. Dunno the last time IRL when a TE led the league in receiving yards. McLaurin is second. After them comes two of Jay's receivers; Julio Jones at 3rd and John Ross III at 4th. McLaurin is leading in receiving TDs with 13. Andrews only has 7. |

In the remaining player vs. player games of the regular season, Ian beat me, I beat TJ both times and then Jay beat TJ. Main post is being updated with the final records and the main 2021 stats for each team (including TJ this time, since he played the whole season). In the playoffs, Jay and I won our wild card games. I beat the CPU in the next round and Jay is currently facing Ian. Winner of that faces me, winner of that heads to the Superbowl. MVP was Teddy ( ), who also led in passing yards and touchdowns (by a lot). Ian got coach of the year. For the NFC: Offensive player went to Teddy, defensive went to Ian's Myles Garrett, Jay's Journey Brown got offensive rookie, my Micah Parson got defensive rookie, Teddy was best QB, TJ's Derrick Henry was best RB (carried tf outta that team), McLaurin was best WR, Jay's Quenton Nelson got best OL, Myles Garrett got best DL and my Harrison Butker got best kicker, though it should've went to Ian's Mason Crosby, who had far more field goals than me. I just had more PATs. For season leaders: Teddy, as mentioned, led in passing yards & TDs (broken records in both). Also led in interceptions, despite the fact that I was second in completion percentage (behind Ian). Jay led in passer rating, with me and then Ian behind. TJ led handily in rushing yards & TDs with Derrick Henry. I led in receiving yards with Mark Andrews and I also had second place with McLaurin, who led in receiving TDs. John Ross and Julio Jones were 3rd and 4th for Jay, in yards. Then Clyde was 5th, so I had three people in the top 5 for receiving yards.

In the off-season now. Some free agents are being signed, but there's also some trades going on. Ian traded Von Miller, Mecole Hardman and Karl Joseph, as well as his 4th and 5th round picks (packaged with Mecole). In return, Von got him a 4th round pick, Karl got him a 3rd round pick for next year and the package deal with Hardman got him a 1st round pick (15th overall). Jay traded Bradley McDougald, Quinton Dunbar (packaged with two current year round 7 picks), Lawrence Guy (packaged with a 4th round pick), Gerald McCoy (packaged with a round 5 pick), Vinny Curry, William Gholston, Marquise Goodwin, Quincy Springs, Ciante Little, Keesean Johnson, Austin Ekeler and Sam Darnold (packaged with round 3 and 4 picks). A looooot of beef being thrown around there. In exchange for it, he got 9 picks n the first 3 rounds; 5 in round 3, 3 in round 2 and 1 in round 1. The round 1 pick is 4th overall and he got it for the Sam Darnold package. TJ traded Tim Williams, Isaiah Ford (+ a round 6 pick) and Ka'Dar Hollman for 2 picks in round 4 and 1 in round 3. I didn't make any trades, iwbh.
