I think the Kalisto reign honestly won't last that long, I got a feeling Enzo will win it back (which he shouldn't have lost it but hey it was Eddie's birthday and even years later they still love to milk his name) But once Enzo wins it back he should hold onto it until Wrestlemania, which he can drop it to one of two people. Hideo Itami or Johnny Gargano. I would go with Johnny and have it be a surprise opponent for Enzo at WM. They have a rematch the following PPV. Which after that, they can introduce Champa onto the Main Roster and continue their feud.

Idk if it's still just a rumor or it's been confirmed. What I heard was that he was supposed to lose to Enzo again last night (in a lumberjack match) and he CM Punk'd right out of there.

He's apparently very disliked backstage. That, with the addition of him being decent-at-best in-ring, I can understand why.

But he sells merch and gets the crowd into whatever he said. Doesn't matter how many holds you know, or flips you do...if you can hear a pin drop during your matches then none of that matters. Is Enzo a little shit head? Yes. Is he a sub par wrestler? Yes. But since Enzo has been champion the Crusierweights main evented 3 raws back to back. Enzo fits in his new role as the Undeserving heel champion because it is him pretty much. Gets his ass handed to him left and right, but is able to sneak away with a victory. WWE could have ran with this for a long while, which I think they will and Kalisto reign will just have a sticky note reign. Building that heat up around him, people getting so close to taking that belt from him only for him to weasel his way out. And when they built up the right babyface to finally beat him, you got a huge moment and star making moment.
the wrestlers need to put aside their dislike for him for now and just see they could have had money with this and still can. and Maybe the whole thing could have humbled Enzo outside the ring.

yeah that is true, but actually going in there and working with these guys and seeing how they bust their asses might. Plus a few shoot hits here and there might also do it. Plus being painted as just a rubbish champion might make him step up his game. Hell in his match with Kalisto he started to bust out a few new tricks that I had never seen him do.

Been a good way to introduce Ricochet too, tho he will probably be in NXT for awhile. Be smart not to hot shot him to the main roster, as only AJ has been the only one who truly has made that work.

Has anyone else even went straight to the main roster without going to NXT? I know there's Gallows and Anderson, but they were kind of a package deal with AJ when they debuted.

Mike and his wife, Even tho Apollo was on NXT, he did jack dibbly there and he got rushed to the main roster.

I wouldn't count Apollo because he was in NXT. He didn't do much there, but he was still there for, like, 3 thirds of a year. He debuted in August 2015 at TakeOver and debuted on the main roster in April of 2016. Maria, I also wouldn't count, since she's not new, just returning, which also carries over to Mike because, even though he isn't returning, he's paired with someone who is. From what I understand of Mike's main roster run so far, though, it hasn't been great.

I don't think putting someone through NXT before they go to the main roster necessarily has an effect on everyone, though. For some people, they need time to get better at WWE's style, but for others, they're doomed on the main roster whether they're in NXT first or go straight up because creative is gonna ruin them regardless. With how good Ricochet is, I wouldn't be surprised if he could adapt to WWE's style easily, but will he actually be used correctly, regardless of going to NXT first or not? I hope so. It'll be a shame if they waste him. If he's gonna be in the cruiserweight division, he'll probably go straight up.

what NXT does for indy guys is get them ready for the style of WWE matches. Also being in NXT you can grow your following and have your first epic moments there. Its a good place also for casual fans who have the WWE network and watch NXT to introduce them to this person. Ricochet probably doesn't need to go to NXT first, but it probably be best for him to do so to see how he can adjust to the WWE style, which yes has become more indy friendly in a way but there are still things he has to adjust to.

Does he actually count as a wrestler, though? He had some sporadic matches, mostly jobbing (and also beating AJ while simultaneously jobbing), but then became Carmella's manager.

And possibly Carmella's S&M sex slave, judging by this collar thing they're doing.
