| Daniel Bryan's reigns (3= 65 days)
Chris Jericho (98 days)
Batista's Reigns (2=38)
Jeff Hardy's reign (42 days)
and by the time Hell in the cell comes, he will have been champion longer than All of Roman Reign's reigns and both of Flair's reigns. |

| So let me get this straight. Nakamura can beat John Cena & Randy Orton but can't beat Jinder Mahal? |

| I wonder if the viewership has even increased in India since he has been champion? Has the WWE network exploded with Subs from India? |

| Forbes is reporting that "the WWE Network subscriber count in India has actually decreased since Mahal became champion." https://www.forbes.com/sites/blakeoestriecher/2017/09/13/wwe-smackdown-must-pass-the-torch-from-jinder-mahal-to-shinsuke-nakamura/#1a8c045022cf |

| Huh, who would've thought that taking a jobber and shoving him into the main event wouldn't work? |

| The funny thing is, I actually like him more now than I did when he was a jobber. I just wish they had built him up more. I think Smackdown's writing is really protecting his weaknesses. He can't wrestle well, so they never have him wrestle on TV, or when they do it's rare, to protect him. He seems like a big deal.
That said, he's still cutting the same promo every damn week, and when he does wrestle he's terrible at it. His character is getting better, the Singh brothers almost single-handedly make him relevant (their intros for Jinder are gold), and he does seem like a much bigger deal. They should have just built him up way more. |

| they should have started pushing him since he came back, so by the time he got to backlash it would have felt more natural. Jinder is working the best with what he is given, and the Bollywood boys are the best part of this whole act. |

| I wouldnt say he's working the best with what he's given. If that were true he would have had a passable match by now. Every single match he's been in has been awful. |

| The problem w/ Jinder is that he's been a job guy his entire career and is now expected to work main-event style matches. I guess they were hoping he'd turn into AJ Styles overnight. |

| If he would've shown me some talent after his push, I would be totally behind this. I'm all for rocking the boat every once in awhile if its entertaining. But like you said, his matches and promos are just completely dull. |

| It makes sense why he is champion - Indians are HUGE wrestling fans. I was living in Kuwait for a period of time and a large portion of the workforce were Indians and when I talked about the United States with most of them their faces would light up and they would start talking about WWE. Honestly, I don't think they care too much about having too many Indian stars. I can't speak for the whole demographic, but they absolutely loved John Cena and Roman Reigns. |

| Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn were never World Champ in WWE, tbh. Also, the finish may have been clean, but Nak was repeatedly distracted by Jinder's goons throughout the match. Cena doesn't have goons. |

| "Also, the finish may have been clean"
Just because the finish was clean didn't mean the whole match was. If a wrestler gets worn down, that works against them. You get worn down if you're distracted and get cheap shotted numerous times. Wouldn't have happened against Cena.
I don't particularly like Jinder and want someone else to win the title, but I definitely wouldn't call that a clean win. I will agree it was way too easy for him to beat Shinsuke after Shinsuke beat Cena cleanly, though. |

| They have Nakamura beat the two biggest names of the last 15 years clean, and then lose to Jinder Mahal twice. Clean or not, it's just fucking stupid. I actually don't really want Nakamura winning the title, but I'd take anyone over Mahal. |
