Thinking back the only game I felt the game pad made a game better was Call of Duty Ghosts. For local play you get to have to separate screens and that would prevent one player from cheating by looking at what you were doing on your part of the TV. The only other way you get that with your friends is doing that online or having a LAN Party.
It's too bad Ghosts was the only CoD title on the system.
I honestly can't think of any game where it was improved by having The Game Pad as a controller. The only other thing I can think of it that it was cool that I could blow into it and make stuff happen like on Super Mario 3D World. And I guess maybe it made girlfriend mode easier for the same game too.
