According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, The Hardy brothers have been offered new WWE contracts and “all signs point to an inevitable return.”

Matt Hardy is currently embroiled in a legal battle with Impact Wrestling for the use of the ‘Broken’ gimmick. Impact believes they should get a cut of everything Hardy makes off of the gimmick, but Matt isn’t having any of it. The Ring Of Honor Tag Team Champs have been dominating the independent circuit as of late, but that could all change if they decide to make their return to the WWE.

The report adds there is no news on if the WWE is interested in the brothers coming in with their ‘Broken’ characters, but the current legal battle with Impact would put a long halt to that for the time being.
